Chapter 404: With Thrills but No Danger
In a canyon, runes sparkled and Immortal Qi surged; three Magical Artifacts were glowing, emanating vast Divine Might.
Everyone’s hearts trembled; that aura was too chilling. Though they intentionally controlled it, the slight overflow of light still tore through the Void Realm.
At that moment, the Second Elder, controlling the Ten Realms Diagram, Fox Ning, said, “I think I heard Fairy’s voice…”
He wasn’t the only one; not far away, in another direction, a young man controlling the Golden Cauldron frowned.
“Strange, just a moment ago, the Sacred Emperor Cauldron’s Artifact Spirit awakened and seemed to become very excited, wanting to fly away on its own…”
This young-looking man was puzzled, but he still focused on controlling the Immortal Artifact, as he was currently deciphering a magical formation to open an Immortal Mansion.
This was a great Opportunity, and every major force was closely watching it, unwilling to let it go; the Chang Sheng Family was no exception.
“Everyone, put in more effort! Tear open an opening in the outer grand formation, and send a portion of people in first to scout!”
As he spoke, several people, in unison, poured their magical power into the Immortal Artifacts, causing them to revive and unleash even more brilliant light.
For a time, the world was vast and awe-inspiring!
“Whoosh!”
Around them, space twisted, with various large cracks extending tens of thousands of miles, making it extremely dangerous.
Immediately, Lin Fan and Lan Xian, who were caught in the aftermath, were both startled, feeling that something was amiss and cursing inwardly.
Because, under the impact of this immense energy, their passage became unstable and blurred.
“Crack!”
Finally, this passage could no longer bear it and shattered, becoming boundless darkness, permeated by a terrifying Void Realm aura.
“Oh no, we’ve been swept into the Void Realm turbulence! It will be difficult to find the correct coordinates to get out now!”
Lan Xian turned pale with fright, her fair face looking very unwell, now appearing somewhat pale and flustered.
One must know that every chaotic space implies a chaotic Void Realm within it; if one rashly enters, one’s body and soul could be instantly annihilated.
At this moment, if not for the Immortal Cauldron glowing and flashing with mysterious symbols to resist the spatial turbulence, even a Heavenly God would not be able to withstand it.
“Whoosh…”
The strong winds howled, sweeping in like blades, striking the bone cauldron with a clang, sending sparks flying.
In fact, it was not wind, nor was it a blade, but rather the manifestation of rules, disordered spatial power.
Each strike could shatter a deity; nearby lay a pile of broken bones, all belonging to powerful individuals who had met with accidents while crossing the Void Realm.
“Hiss…”
Lin Fan gasped, looking through the cauldron’s mouth to see a thirty-thousand-foot-long crimson Dragon, definitely surpassing a Heavenly God.
However, its corpse was cold, and its lower half had long been severed by the Void Realm power, its whereabouts unknown.
They drifted aimlessly, surrounded by a faint mist, moving at an incredibly fast speed, as if hundreds of years passed in an instant.
This was terrifying; if they continued like this, they would eventually wither and die in the spatial rift due to the dissipation of their essence Qi.
“What is that?!”
A quarter of an hour later, Lin Fan was startled to see a hall in the endless Void Realm, permeated with Chaos Qi.
Its exterior was pitch black, with some walls and pillars stained with eerie blood, drifting in the Void Realm, leading to an unknown destination.
However, the moment they saw it, for some unknown reason, both felt uneasy, almost suffocating.
That feeling was so oppressive that even powerful individuals like them felt enveloped by the shadow of death, wanting only to stay far away.
“I once heard my Elders say that when crossing the Void Realm, if one gets lost in a great rift, the most terrifying things to encounter are ancient Chaos halls shrouded in mist, strange black ancient ships, and the phenomenon of Flying Immortals.”
Lan Xian was terrified, extremely nervous, her breathing stopped, and her back felt cold.
It was said that these three things and phenomena had existed since ancient times, incredibly bizarre, and even a Sect Master who ventured into them would surely die.
And now, they had encountered a blood-stained ancient Chaos hall; their luck was truly terrible, and their lives were in danger!
“Oh no, we’re going to crash into it!” Lan Xian screamed, breaking out in a cold sweat.
Lin Fan frowned; the aura emanating from that black ancient hall felt familiar, as if he had encountered it somewhere before.
“Bang!”
The two collided, and the ancient Chaos hall emitted a terrifying black light, like the creation of heaven and earth, piercing through the Void Realm.
Fortunately, the bone cauldron, which recorded the Original True Understanding Transcendence Chapter, was sturdy enough and was pushed away without damage.
It was at this moment, through the mist, that the sharp-eyed Lin Fan saw a plaque with two ancient characters shining brightly on it.
Thankfully, he had recently learned the script from the previous epoch and recognized them, murmuring, “Guidance!”
Lin Fan’s heart shook violently; he instantly thought of certain things, his eyes wide, a surging tide in his heart!
He wondered why it felt familiar; it turned out to be the dark prison, where his Primordial Spirit had inexplicably gone when he cultivated Immortal Qi.
He had even seen several cages at that time, whose brilliance was exceptionally dazzling, powerful enough to illuminate the river of time, full of fantasy.
One must know that that place was terrifying; one could not feel the passage of time, and he had almost gone mad after only staying there for a period.
If one were trapped for an entire epoch, one’s mind would likely collapse; he couldn’t imagine how one would endure it.
“Guidance? Is this ancient hall meant to guide a certain being back?” Lan Xian was surprised, and more so, puzzled.
The next moment, she suddenly let out a shriek, saying, “I see light! We’re out!”
Lin Fan was stunned, only then realizing that due to the recent collision, they had been pushed out of the great Void Realm rift.
Soon, with a flash of white light, they escaped and arrived in the outside world, creating a large pit in the ground.
“This is great! It’s a lush green mountain area; we’ve made it to the outside world, a place with life.”
Lan Xian poked her head out, saw the surrounding environment, and danced with joy, shaking Lin Fan’s arm vigorously.
Similarly, Lin Fan was delighted; though he didn’t know where they were, they had finally escaped the predicament with thrills but no danger.
Then, his heart stirred slightly, feeling a softness, and his arm unconsciously nudged inward.
“Get lost, you pervert! You’re taking advantage of this Fairy again!”
Lan Xian snorted softly, her face slightly flushed, and immediately released her hands, like a startled white rabbit, quickly leaping out of the great cauldron.
However, she was still very excited and in excellent spirits, feeling a sense of surviving a disaster; they had finally left that dreadful place.
“It’s just that I don’t know where this is.” Lin Fan stepped onto the ground, put away the Immortal Cauldron, and for the first time felt that the mountains were so wonderful.
They looked around; the soil was dark red, as if it had experienced a bloody battle that stained it.
Even after a long time, the color of the soil remained unchanged.
What was most surprising was that the Qi here was incredibly dense, with a misty white fog and surging Qi, making it an excellent pure land.
“It smells so good!”
At this moment, both smelled a fragrant aroma coming from ahead, from various places, shimmering with colorful light.
“Oh my god, there are too many treasure medicines in this place!” Lan Xian couldn’t help but exclaim, her eyes shining.
Suddenly, Lin Fan’s pupils contracted as he stared at a small green tree by a spiritual lake, his eyes fixed, saying, “That is… a Divine Medicine!”
