Abomination Attacks
"Besides, you said humanity could start using clean, advanced energy sooner?"
Tony looked disdainful and said irritably, "China achieved that ages ago. Arc Reactor Energy has long been widespread in China. I even tried to introduce it before, but unfortunately, there was simply no way to do it in America."
It would infringe upon too many people’s interests. There was simply no possibility of promoting Arc Reactor Energy on a large scale.
With no other choice, if he could not beat them, he could only join them. Tony developed Arc Reactor Energy himself and entered the energy industry to slowly seize the market. Once he had the chance to squeeze the other energy giants out of their market shares, he could figure out the rest.
In short, aside from China and several countries in the communist bloc, capital seemed to be an unavoidable issue. Free energy was simply impossible.
Even China encountered plenty of trouble when it first promoted it. It was merely resolved forcefully.
"…"
Nick Fury had nothing to say.
Honestly, if Arc Reactor Energy could be promoted for free, he would have wanted that too!
After all, he had no conflict of interest in that regard. But too many people were unwilling, and there was nothing he could do.
"Let’s not talk about that for now. Can I make a phone call first?"
Watching the group argue, Loki asked weakly.
He felt helpless. According to the plan, Hawkeye was on his way to cause trouble, but judging by the current situation, would Hawkeye not just be walking into a beating?
And what if Chen Mu got hurt during the attack?
Loki had once again witnessed China’s power firsthand. He was scared!
"Hmph. Do you think that’s possible?"
Nick Fury sneered at Loki. Loki’s words gave him an opening to escape the discussion, and he continued, "You can control people. For all we know, you’ve already controlled some high-ranking official. Are you hoping someone will bail you out? Dream on!"
All right, Nick Fury assumed Loki had controlled some American official and wanted to call for help to get himself out, so he rejected the request without hesitation.
Of course, that was how someone like Nick Fury thought. Putting himself in Loki’s shoes, he felt that if he possessed the power to control minds, he would control some high-ranking official to achieve his goals.
Earlier, after seeing Chen Mu’s portal technology, his first thought had been how to use it to conquer the world and destroy hostile countries.
Only someone as dark-minded as him would think that way. China, despite possessing such power, could not be bothered to do such things.
China now loved peace. It cared more about letting its people live and work in peace than constantly considering how to plunder resources like America did.
Perhaps people in America also wanted their "white supremacy," hoping white people could enjoy better treatment. But unlike China, China wanted to rely on its own efforts and create with its own hands, rather than plundering with guns like America.
As for those who said America had Black people?
Please. Among the people America itself acknowledged, were there really any Black people?
As for other races who immigrated to America and swore allegiance for green cards, they were even third-class citizens.
"??"
Loki looked utterly baffled. Since when had he controlled some high-ranking official?
He merely wanted to call Hawkeye and tell him to suspend the plan. Was that really so difficult?
"Whoosh…"
At that moment, a Quinjet flew over, quieting the scene somewhat as everyone looked over. The jet landed, its rear hatch opened, and a massive shit-yellow brute stepped out. It was Abomination. The military and S.H.I.E.L.D. had now given him a new name: Hatred.
It was rather ridiculous. Did they think simply changing his name would erase Abomination’s connection to his previous massacre?
Yet reality was just that fantastical. After changing his name, Abomination truly joined S.H.I.E.L.D. openly and legitimately. Under Nick Fury’s maneuvering, he had even entered the Avengers Initiative…
Compared to Hulk, Abomination looked far uglier. And as an inferior product, he could not return to human form at all.
"Hulk…! Hulk!"
The moment Abomination stepped out of the Quinjet, he spotted the over-three-meter-tall Bruce Banner among the crowd. His eyes immediately reddened. He growled the name, suddenly swatted a nearby S.H.I.E.L.D. agent flying, and charged straight at Bruce Banner.
There were many S.H.I.E.L.D. agents between them, but he ignored them all. As he rampaged forward, he forcibly carved a bloody path through them. In just a few seconds, a whole group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had died.
"??"
At the sight of this, Chen Mu and the others, including Loki and Thor, were completely dumbfounded. What the hell was S.H.I.E.L.D. playing at?
"Boom!"
With a loud crash, the utterly baffled Bruce Banner abruptly stopped the charging Abomination, his face filled with fury.
"Nick Fury, what the hell are you doing?!"
At that moment, Nick Fury, who had been in Abomination’s charging path, had just rolled and crawled out of the way. Unfortunately, he had still been clipped. He now felt as if his internal organs had shifted, and he was seriously injured.
"I knew S.H.I.E.L.D. only knows how to cause trouble!" Tony cursed. Back then, he and Bruce Banner had only barely managed to defeat Abomination. Later, when he heard Nick Fury had recruited Abomination into S.H.I.E.L.D., he had been unhappy all along. Nick Fury had even repeatedly guaranteed that S.H.I.E.L.D. had Abomination perfectly under control before bringing him into the Avengers.
Now, Abomination had revealed his true colors. With that savage grin on his face, where was the innocence of a four- or five-year-old child?
The overconfident Nick Fury had been thoroughly played by Abomination, Blonsky.
"Tony Stark, hahaha! Do you think you can still defeat me now?"
Abomination was now incredibly powerful. After years of enduring humiliation and training, Blonsky had long mastered his power to perfection. His combat strength was far greater than it had been back then!
Did they think he had spent all those years doing nothing?
He had been constantly strengthening himself. Now, neither Hulk nor Tony could possibly be his match!
Now that he had encountered both enemies, with the Hulk he had always dreamed of defeating standing right before him, he stopped pretending and laid his cards on the table!
"I’m the villain. I’m the bad guy! So what? What can your S.H.I.E.L.D. do to me?"
Although there were many people on the deck, Abomination did not care much. He knew very well that he had joined Hydra, and Ivan Vanko, like him, was a Hydra mole!
Therefore, he did not need to worry that Ivan Vanko’s robot army would attack him!
Besides, he had never taken those unmanned robots seriously!
After getting off the plane, Hulk was the only thing in his eyes. How could he have carefully looked at anyone else?
He had taken the Chinese soldiers in White Tiger Armor for Ivan Vanko’s robots…
Now that he looked again, they seemed somewhat different?
Forget it. What did I, Abomination, have to worry about?
This time, I’m invincible. No matter what modifications S.H.I.E.L.D. made to the robots, he was not afraid!
