Ant-Man, New Iron Fist

Thanos had countless ties to the Kree Empire. After Wang Bert destroyed the Kree Intelligence, some Kree brought the Supreme Intelligence’s AI program to Thanos, hoping he could help revive the Supreme Intelligence.

Thanos agreed. He helped the Kree secretly infiltrate Earth, then arranged for them to contact Baron Strucker.

Baron Strucker did not know that much. He warmly welcomed the Kree’s arrival. Not only did he agree to find a way to revive the Supreme Intelligence, but he also allowed the Kree to experiment on humans and create Inhumans.

Baron Strucker had a pathological obsession with superpowered humans.

Although the Inhumans had been created by the Kree Empire, the technology had already been lost. Only a small number of records remained with the Supreme Intelligence. Based on those records, along with the Mind Scepter, Kree scientists continuously experimented on humans in Hydra bases.

After countless failed experiments, they successfully created the first Inhuman three months ago. After that, they kept improving the technology and produced a large number of Inhumans.

However, their success rate was nowhere near one hundred percent. In fact, it was less than thirty percent, and the mortality rate was extremely high.

Of course, that meant nothing to Baron Strucker. In Eastern Europe, human lives were cheap.

With these Inhumans, Baron Strucker rapidly swallowed up the other Hydra factions. He was now Hydra’s true leader.

Because of Supergiant’s concealment, Wang Bert, who had been fighting across the universe, knew nothing about this.

There still aren’t enough Inhumans. To influence that fool, I need him to create even more Inhumans.

Supergiant thought to herself, This American election is a good opportunity. If it succeeds, Earth will descend into Civil War. Then they will no longer be able to threaten Thanos’s plan.

Next, Supergiant arrived at the tenth underground level. There was a massive cold storage room here, and within it lay a huge frozen corpse. Whenever any Hydra member saw the corpse, they would fanatically shout in their hearts, "Hail Hydra!"

It was unmistakably the corpse of a Hydra, and a god-level Hydra at that.

"This was specially prepared to deal with the Blood God. He has not truly appeared since the battle on Ego Planet. Something must have gone wrong with him."

Looking at Hydra’s corpse, Supergiant smiled. Besides Hydra, there was another trump card against the Blood God: herself.

The Mind Stone did far more than simply control people. Only she, Supergiant, could unleash the Mind Stone’s true power.

After inspecting Hydra’s corpse, Supergiant went to the final level of the secret base. There was no one here, only countless complex computers. This was the Supreme Intelligence’s main body.

At that moment, the computers were shrouded in the glow of Mind Energy. If all went well, the Supreme Intelligence would soon revive. Then, Earth’s technology and networks would all become tools of the Supreme Intelligence.

"Blood God, when the time comes, I’ll give you a big surprise."

Supergiant nodded in satisfaction. Then she thought of something and hesitated. Should I inform Loki? I heard she has built up the Frost Giants quite well. If a Frost Giant army arrives at a critical moment, it might have an unexpected effect.

Better wait and see. That guy is just like Ebony Maw, full of schemes and utterly annoying.

Supergiant shook her head, and her figure vanished as she returned to the Mind Scepter.

In a mansion somewhere in Manhattan, a man wearing a black-and-red uniform and a large helmet was warming up in the hallway.

A moment later, the man charged at a tightly shut door. As he neared it, he rapidly shrank, intending to pass through the keyhole and enter the room.

Unfortunately, he shrank a little too slowly. With a bang, he slammed into the door, then slid down it.

Hank Pym, white-haired and bespectacled, handsome but difficult to approach, cursed loudly, "Failed again, Scott Lang. You really disappoint me."

"I know. I’ll try again."

Scott Lang returned to his original size and listlessly walked back to the other side.

Scott Lang had once been an electrical engineer. Unable to tolerate his boss’s actions, he stole his boss’s money and returned it to the victims, making him a modern-day Robin Hood.

Unfortunately, America did not welcome Robin Hood. Scott was thrown into prison. After his release, he discovered that no company was willing to hire him. Even restaurants and coffee shops were no exception.

Scott had a daughter. To pay her child support, he decided to steal again. As a result, Hank Pym set him up, and now he had no choice but to work for Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man.

Hank Pym’s daughter, Hope, who looked somewhat mature for her age, said, "Dad, he can’t do it. Let me handle it instead."

Pym firmly shook his head. "No. You know the reason. It doesn’t matter if he dies, but I can’t let anything happen to you."

"I can hear you."

Scott said unhappily. Then, he tried once again and, unsurprisingly, crashed into the door again.

Hope shook her head. "Dad, maybe we should consider the Blood God and Stark’s offer. Their terms are excellent, and they’ve been very restrained toward us."

"There isn’t a single good person in the Stark family. As for the Blood God, there’s even less to say. He’s a Vampire. How can we trust a Vampire?"

Pym stubbornly said, "We have to stop Darren from developing Pym Particles. Otherwise, humanity might end up being ruled by Vampires."

"Aunt Carter said the Blood God has the power to destroy the world. If he truly wanted to rule humanity, what difference would one more or one less batch of Pym Particles make?"

Hope persuaded him, "Besides, our attention should be on the Quantum Tunnel. The Blood God is the richest man in the world. Uh, I heard he recently became the richest man in the Milky Way Galaxy too.

"With his support, we can definitely complete the Quantum Tunnel."

"Carter is a Vampire now too. She is just as untrustworthy."

Pym said, "Scott, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and continue. Do you still want your salary or not?"

Hope sighed helplessly. Although she had reconciled with her father several years ago, this old man’s temper was truly terrible.

The fact that Hank Pym had ended up without a single friend was directly related to his personality.

"No problem, I’ll start right away."

Scott shouted, though his gaze flickered. The Blood God Group was a Vampire corporation? "There’s no time to waste."

Pym said, "According to our intelligence, Darren will succeed within a month. He has even designed the Yellowjacket suit. We must destroy all the data and Pym Particle samples before he succeeds."

"Don’t worry, I’ll definitely succeed. I’m Scott Lang, the most famous thief of the past few years."

Scott said confidently. The next second, he slammed into the door again with a bang.

"Damn it."

Pym and Hope both despaired.

At night, in Blood God Manor, Wang Bert’s six disciples stood before him. Besides them, Madame Gao and Colleen Wing, who served as a maid, were also present.

The six disciples were, first, Earth’s top female host, Trish Walker. She had become famous across the world over the past few years and did not even have time to be a Super Hero.

Next was Trish’s younger sister, Jessica Jones. Although she had been among the first Super Heroes to debut, she was rude, unprofessional, and alcoholic. Now, she was on the verge of being eliminated. She could not even afford rent and spent every day mooching off Trish.

Rather than Jessica Jones, she might as well have been called Jessica Broke-to-Death.

Then came Mindy, Lina, and Little Hela. Mindy dreamed every day of becoming a Super Hero. Whether in schoolwork or martial arts, she trained extremely well. Once she grew up, she would become a top-tier agent and Super Hero.

There was not much to say about Lina. She was a poor student who did nothing but eat, yet remarkably, over the years, she had only grown taller and had not gained any weight at all. Mindy, who ate weight-loss meals every day, envied her beyond measure.

Finally, there was Little Hela. Although she was somewhat addicted to gaming, she had never fallen behind in her studies and was an academic standout. Moreover, her control over qi far surpassed Mindy and Lina’s.

If Mindy was a genius seen once in a century, Little Hela was a peerless prodigy seen once in ten thousand years.

The last one was naturally Skye. She stared at Wang Bert with a strange expression and asked, "Master, why are all your disciples women? And all of them are beauties?"

"Are you complimenting yourself?"

Wang Bert teased. He said irritably, "There are male disciples too. Frank, Ivan, Captain America, and the Blood God Guards have all learned qi from me. They all count as my disciples."

"They learned qi from me, didn’t they?"

Madame Gao retorted. All of Wang Bert’s disciples had been taught by her.

"It’s all the same."

Wang Bert chuckled and said, "I called you here today to help you become Iron Fists. I’ve prepared the highest-grade Dragon Souls for you. Pick your own attributes."

As he spoke, Wang Bert opened his hand. More than ten majestic Dragon Souls circled in his palm, shining brilliantly.

Everyone’s eyes lit up. They knew exactly what becoming an Iron Fist represented.

"So many Dragon Souls?"

Madame Gao was dumbfounded. Could Iron Fists be mass-produced too?

Trish was the first to say, "Master, I want the Wind Dragon. I’ve been far too busy lately, and the Wind Dragon can save me time."

"You really are a career woman."

Wang Bert waved his hand and sent the Wind Dragon Soul into Trish’s body. Trish’s eyes went blank as her consciousness entered a mental space, where a Wind Dragon roared at her.

Trish had to defeat the Wind Dragon to obtain its Dragon Soul. If she failed, the Dragon Soul would seal itself within her body and wait for her next challenge.

Jessica asked, "Is there a Wine Dragon? One that can turn qi into alcohol?"

Wang Bert was speechless. Of all his disciples, Jessica was the greatest failure—not that she was completely useless. She had helped plenty of people, but she truly was not suited to be a Super Hero.

"There’s no Wine Dragon. Choose the Power Dragon instead. Once you become an Iron Fist, I’ll send you to the Ravagers Alliance. It should suit you well. Those pirates argue, drink, and fight every day."

Wang Bert irritably sent the Power Dragon into Jessica’s body, then turned to Mindy and asked, "Which one do you choose?"

Mindy asked, "Is there a Dragon Soul that can make me grow up faster?"

"No. You’re Hit-Girl, so choose the Wood Dragon. It can save people and poison them to death."

After making the choice for Mindy, Wang Bert asked Lina, "Which one do you choose?"

Lina pulled a face. "Can I not choose? Ever since gaining qi, I’ve felt even hungrier. I used to get full after ten burgers. Now I need twenty."

"Then choose the Magic Water Dragon. It can help you absorb energy from the outside world."

Wang Bert sent the Water Dragon into Lina’s body, and her gaze immediately turned vacant.

Next, Wang Bert looked at Little Hela and asked, "Hela, what Dragon Soul do you want?"

Little Hela asked, "Do you have a Dragon Soul with darkness or death attributes?"

"No. Hela, you’re going to become the Earth Speaker’s woman someday. How can you be associated with darkness and death? I’ll give you the Light Dragon’s soul. It can greatly increase other people’s favorability toward you."

Wang Bert glanced at Little Hela and said, "Maybe it can even cure your dark circles. Tell me, do you secretly play games every night? Why have your dark circles never gone away?"

"Maybe it’s part of my character design."

Little Hela shrugged. "The Light Dragon it is, then. Maybe it’ll let me become Earth Speaker a few years sooner. I want to lead Earth and conquer the entire galaxy."

"As long as you don’t use slaughter and death as your means, I’ll support you."

Wang Bert smiled. Skye asked in astonishment, "Master, are you joking?"

Given the Blood God’s current status, he really could decide who became Speaker.

"My disciples won’t disappoint anyone."

Wang Bert smiled. Little Hela was outstanding in every respect.

"Of course."

Little Hela smiled smugly. Thinking of something, she asked, "Master, was the new Super Heroes game dungeon, Hela’s Revenge, also known as Odin’s One Hundred and Eight Ways to Die, written by someone you hired, or was it real?"

Skye said, "Of course it was made up. How could Asgard have an eldest princess? There’s only the husky prince and the fawn princess."

"What do you think of Hela? If she wanted revenge, would you stop her?"

Wang Bert asked. He had personally designed that dungeon. On the day the expansion was released, that old fellow Odin had called and cursed at him for a full hour, after which Wang Bert had someone curse Odin back for an entire day and night.

However, Odin had not stopped the expansion from being released. That debt would have to be repaid eventually.

Without the slightest hesitation, Little Hela said, "Hela is pitiful, but if she wanted revenge, I would stop her. Her path is wrong. Death and slaughter cannot bring peace, nor can they conquer the universe."

"Well said."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction and sent the Light Dragon into Little Hela’s body.

The moment the Light Dragon entered the mental space, countless longswords shot toward it. Little Hela proudly shouted, "Behold my Ten Thousand Swords Return to Origin!"

Because of Wang Bert, his disciples were all very interested in Eastern culture.

Finally, Wang Bert turned to Skye and said, "I specially prepared a Steel Dragon for you. It can greatly strengthen your body. Skye, your powers still have enormous potential. Don’t slack off."

"I know. I can already sense Earth’s vibrations now."

Skye nodded excitedly. Remembering something, she said, "Master, Raina is looking for you. She said she sensed a major event related to the Inhumans."

"I’ll go see her as soon as possible. Don’t worry. With me here, and with her precognition, nothing will happen to the Inhumans."

Wang Bert smiled, then sent the Dragon Soul into Skye’s body. With Skye’s abilities, subduing the Steel Dragon would not be much of a problem.

After dealing with his disciples, Wang Bert turned to Madame Gao and Colleen Wing and smiled. "You two should choose one as well."

"We get one too?"

Madame Gao and Colleen were both stunned. One was a prisoner, and the other a maid. Though they had envied Skye and the others tremendously, they had never imagined they could possess Dragon Souls as well.

They knew better than anyone just how prestigious an Iron Fist was.
