Arriving at Tu Shan, Tu Shan Rong Rong
Su Yu smiled. "What bad intentions could I possibly have? It’s not like I’d take a fancy to you two little fox demons."
As he spoke, Su Yu placed Su Yiyi in the carriage. "Yi Yi, keep these two big sisters company."
After saying that, Su Yu climbed onto Erha’s back and gave him a pat. "I’ve sent the location into your head. Head there, and don’t get us lost. If you do, don’t even think about sleeping tonight."
The moment Erha heard that, he sprang into action, running with all his might. This carriage was no ordinary carriage; even if Erha ran at full speed, nothing would happen to it.
Before long, they arrived at the lake. Erha pulled the carriage straight across the water’s surface, quickly reaching the entrance to Tu Shan.
Tu Shan Rong Rong stared blankly at Tu Shan’s gates. "That was so fast."
"Of course it was fast. Big dogs run really, really fast," Su Yiyi said excitedly.
After all, Erha belonged to her family. Naturally, she was happy when someone said he ran fast.
Tu Shan Hong Hong carried the little Taoist’s body into Tu Shan, and Tu Shan Rong Rong immediately followed. Su Yu made the carriage disappear, sent Erha back to the Dominator Space, then followed after them without the slightest hesitation.
Seeing that Su Yu and Su Yiyi had returned together with Tu Shan Hong Hong and the others, the fox demons guarding the gate did not stop them.
After following Tu Shan Hong Hong and the others for a while, Tu Shan Hong Hong turned to look at Su Yu and spoke through her stomach, "Why do you keep following us?"
"My daughter and I don’t know where to stay right now. Would it be all right if we troubled Tu Shan for a few days?" Su Yu asked with a smile.
Tu Shan Hong Hong turned back around and continued walking, speaking through her stomach as she went. "Do as you please."
Su Yu smiled and followed along.
Tu Shan Hong Hong soon buried the little Taoist’s body, then came beneath the Acacia Tree.
She remained there afterward. Su Yu looked at Tu Shan Rong Rong and said, "Little fox demon, I want to take you as my disciple. Do you agree?"
Tu Shan Rong Rong refused without hesitation. "No. Humans are all terrible villains."
Su Yu said, "…Do you think Yi Yi looks like a villain?"
Su Yiyi immediately became anxious. "Daddy, Yi Yi isn’t a villain."
Tu Shan Rong Rong said, "Little Sister Yi Yi is a demon. I can smell it! You’re the only terrible villain."
Su Yu said, "…"
"Come on, uncle will treat you to snacks." Su Yu smiled and conjured up a huge pile of snacks. Su Yiyi immediately grabbed several and began eating.
As Tu Shan Rong Rong watched Su Yiyi eat faster and faster, she swallowed at the sight. Su Yu smiled when he noticed, unwrapped a Lollipop, and held it before Tu Shan Rong Rong’s mouth.
Tu Shan Rong Rong resisted the temptation for three seconds before biting the Lollipop. After giving it a lick and finding it delicious, she immediately picked up other snacks and began eating. The two little foodies dug in with gusto.
While eating, Tu Shan Rong Rong said, "Even if you give me tasty food, it only means you’re not a villain. But you’re human. What could you possibly teach me? That’s why I don’t want you as my master."
"Who says I have nothing to teach you? I can teach you the Seventy-Two Transformations and the Thirty-Six Transformations!" Su Yu said at once.
Tu Shan Rong Rong asked doubtfully, "What are those?"
"Very powerful spells!" Su Yu explained.
At that moment, Su Yu looked just like some creepy uncle trying to trick a little girl.
Tu Shan Rong Rong still shook her head. "Demon and human spells are different. Don’t think you can trick me into becoming your disciple."
Su Yu smiled bitterly. "Why won’t you believe me? Anyone can learn my spells. Demons can too!"
Tu Shan Rong Rong thought about it, then shook her head again. "No. I want a very, very powerful master!"
Su Yu smiled. "Aren’t you describing me? I can cover the heavens with one hand, pluck stars with a raised hand—I can do anything!"
"Then revive the little Taoist, and I’ll become your disciple," Tu Shan Rong Rong said as she looked at Su Yu.
Su Yu shook his head. "No. If I revive him, everything afterward will be thrown into chaos. Pick another request. I can definitely do it!"
This little Taoist was Dongfang Yuechu’s past life. If Su Yu saved him, the entire future would be thrown into disorder. (I know the original never said the little Taoist was Dongfang Yuechu’s past life, but it didn’t seem to say he wasn’t either. The plot requires it, so I wrote it that way.)
"Big liar." Tu Shan Rong Rong pouted.
Su Yu said, "…"
"Kid, I’m really powerful. Why don’t you think it over again?" Su Yu said as he came to Tu Shan Rong Rong’s side.
Tu Shan Rong Rong ignored Su Yu completely and continued eating snacks with Su Yiyi.
Su Yu was utterly depressed. Seeing that he seemed unhappy, Su Yiyi immediately came over to him. "Daddy, don’t be sad. Yi Yi can be Daddy’s disciple."
Su Yu smiled and rubbed Su Yiyi’s little head. "You silly girl. If there’s anything you want to learn, just tell Daddy. Why would you need to become my disciple?"
"Hehe, here, Daddy, have some." Su Yiyi smiled and held out a potato chip toward Su Yu.
Su Yu quickly crouched down. Su Yiyi brought the chip to his mouth, and Su Yu bit into it with a smile on his face.
"Yi Yi is still the best," Su Yu said with a smile.
Tu Shan Hong Hong spoke through her stomach, "Can you let me have some peace and quiet?"
What should have been a deeply sorrowful scene had been turned into something like a picnic by them.
Upon hearing Tu Shan Hong Hong’s words, Tu Shan Rong Rong immediately grabbed several bags of snacks and ran off. Su Yiyi also promptly stuffed all the snacks on the ground into the Silver Ring.
Su Yu picked up Su Yiyi and left the area around the Acacia Tree.
After leaving the Acacia Tree, Tu Shan Rong Rong found a place to sit and continued eating snacks. When Su Yu arrived and saw this, his eyes shifted thoughtfully. Then he smiled and came to her side. "Little fox demon, as long as you become my disciple, I’ll give you as many snacks as you want!"
"Really?" Tu Shan Rong Rong’s eyes lit up.
Su Yu immediately nodded. "Really!"
A delighted expression appeared on Tu Shan Rong Rong’s face, but after a moment, she could no longer be happy. She looked conflictedly at the snacks in her hands, then toward her sister by the Acacia Tree.
In the end, she said dejectedly, "No. I have to listen to my sister. I can’t get too close to humans."
"Why is it so hard to trick someone into becoming my disciple…" Su Yu said with a bitter smile.
Su Yu truly wanted to take Tu Shan Rong Rong as his disciple. Among Tu Shan’s fox demons, his favorites were Tu Shan Rong Rong and Tushan Susu. He also quite liked Tu Shan Hong Hong and Tushan Yaya. Ideally, he wanted to take them all as disciples, but he could not even fool the still-young Tu Shan Rong Rong. How was he supposed to fool Tu Shan Hong Hong and Tushan Yaya…
Seeing that Su Yu had stopped talking, Tu Shan Rong Rong immediately continued eating. But as she ate, she suddenly choked. Su Yiyi quickly handed her the Milk Bottle hanging around her neck.
