Another disaster had ended. Honestly, humanity had grown somewhat used to it. Humans were, by nature, an extraordinarily adaptable species. After facing the Chitauri, Atlantis, and the Kryptonians one after another, humanity had become increasingly calm. Or rather, numb. After Donnie took control of the Kryptonian mothership, the devices inside the brains of the two hundred thousand criminals who had arrived with the Kryptonians were remotely detonated, killing them all in an instant.
