Leaving the previous town did not cause Yinsen and the others any trouble.

Perhaps as time passed and Ada gradually felt the obvious changes in her body, she appropriately proved her worth. She could always learn the federal agents’ search targets before they did, then lead Yinsen and the others past the agents without a hitch.

Yinsen did not know, nor could he be bothered to know, what the federal agents would do after failing to find them. In any case, he could guess something from the faintly smug expression that occasionally appeared on Ada’s face.

Yinsen lived quite easily during the following period, treating the trip as a vacation. Every day, he took his medicine, trained, and taught Sherry. He also discussed the difficulties Selene encountered in her training and explained some things about his own side to Ada.

Time passed bit by bit. When Yinsen estimated that the time was almost right, he stopped Ada from suggesting another relocation—she clearly had her own intelligence source among the federal agents and already knew that, after more than half a year of searching, they had finally pinpointed their location.

At that point, Ada also realized that even if she did not leave with Yinsen, her days ahead would probably not be easy. She had clearly landed on certain people’s wanted lists, and her spy career, which had only just reached its peak, might end prematurely.

"I hope the life ahead won’t disappoint me."

"It probably won’t."

If she simply wanted excitement, Yinsen could guarantee that he would visit more unusual and thrilling worlds in the future. Good things generally existed in worlds with advanced technology, powerful magic, or great mysteries, and searching for treasure there would definitely bring trouble.

"We’re surrounded."

This was a small farm in the south, surrounded by desolate land. They had lived here for a month and thought they could remain quietly until it was time to leave, but they had been found so quickly.

There was not a single person in sight, but the experienced Ada and… Yinsen, wearing the High-Tech Glasses, both knew exactly how many armed personnel were nearby.

"What a pity. I was going to say goodbye to them."

After being chased for more than half a year, Yinsen was getting annoyed as well. He had originally planned to teach these people a lesson, but there was truly little time left. They were lucky today.

Even without him, though, this world had more than enough disasters. Even after Umbrella Corporation collapsed, there was never any shortage of companies stirring up trouble. One after another kept emerging, and the appearance of Bio-Virus weapons was more like opening Pandora’s box. As far as Yinsen knew, this world would not have a moment of peace for the next twenty years.

"Step into the Magic Array."

It was not Yinsen who actively activated the Teleportation Magic Array. Rather, once the time arrived, the Magic Array activated on its own. His control over it now far surpassed what it had once been, so although it had activated, he could still prolong the final teleportation slightly to make final arrangements and give instructions.

"Once you step into the Magic Array, think in your heart about going with me rather than refusing to leave. Otherwise, you’ll be left here alone."

Yinsen’s expression was extremely serious. No one present dared take this lightly. This was a major matter that would affect their future lives, so they could not afford to ignore it.

There was actually no need to be too nervous. Even Sherry was already twelve years old, and everyone understood what they needed to. They had also gotten along well during this time. She would not resist following Yinsen in her heart, so nothing unexpected would happen.

"Let’s go!"

Once everyone was ready, Selene stuffed the items they had bought during this time into several large bags. She carried one on her back and held several more, looking like a mobile luggage rack.

After Selene reminded them, both Ada and Annette bought quite a few clothes and daily necessities. Annette had previously believed that a few changes of clothes and some ordinary supplies would be enough, but she had now decided to stay on Yinsen’s ship, so she had much more to buy.

She had also prepared many clothes for her daughter Sherry—not only things she could wear now, but clothes in various sizes for when her body developed in the future.

She had crammed all sorts of things into two large suitcases, with another huge bag on her back. That was only after Yinsen reminded her that she would not be able to bring so much with her, forcing Annette to pick through everything and reduce it to this much.

Yinsen was carrying some things as well. Naturally, he had put his own belongings into the Storage Space. The large suitcase in his hand contained things Logan and the others wanted, mainly daily necessities—and, of course, cigars.

Light flared up. The agents outside could also see the dazzling radiance erupting from the farmhouse, and they would surely be tense for a while because of it. But when they rushed inside, all that awaited them was an empty, ordinary farmhouse. Yinsen had not left them anything useful—apart from a letter for Leon.

The letter did not contain much. It was simply a greeting, along with a reminder for him to train diligently. Yinsen looked forward to seeing him achieve some results by the next time he came.

After giving Leon benefits, he still had to remind him that they came from him. Given Leon’s personality, even if they could not become friends, Yinsen could not treat him as an enemy.

During the time Yinsen had been wandering all over the North American Continent, Leon had already begun trying to cultivate the knowledge he had gained in his "dream." At first, he only felt that his mind had become more energetic. Then, his thoughts gradually became clearer and clearer, until he finally activated the seed Yinsen had left behind. Leon had truly managed to preserve those "treasures."

When Leon successfully activated and began nurturing that seed, Yinsen sensed it. As Leon persisted in training every day, Yinsen could feel a faint, almost imperceptible connection forming between his Holy Light Cross and Leon.

It was somewhat similar to the feeling of establishing a passage with a space containing Special Energy, except the relationship between the two sides had been reversed.

What would the Holy Light Cross become in the future? Could it turn into a miniature Heaven?

He had some expectations for it. If it truly succeeded, his strength would rise dramatically, like riding a rocket, with a Small World in his possession. Moreover, since it was an item he had personally created and slowly "nurtured" into evolution, there was no possibility of it slipping beyond his control.

Besides Leon, Claire had also shown some response, although hers came later. Judging from her situation, it was probably not because her talent was too poor that she had fallen so far behind. Yinsen guessed that something had delayed her.

"I forgot about that."

Yinsen suddenly remembered that after the events of Resident Evil 2, the next story should have been Resident Evil: Code Veronica. The Veronica Virus was quite distinctive. It could even turn blood into flames and allow one to control fire freely. Although none of the viruses in Resident Evil were particularly "scientific," the Veronica Virus was definitely the most fantastical among them.

Unfortunately, he had missed it just like that. But on second thought, it did not matter. Soon after the Veronica Virus was created, Wesker would seize a sample. Later, it would appear again in the hands of a warlord in the Americas. By then, Leon would already have become an elite agent directly under the president, and Yinsen could obtain the virus through him.

In any case, after the Holy Light Cross established connections with Leon and Claire, he had the time-space coordinates of Resident Evil in his grasp. Even if his Time-Space Traversing Magic Array had not left behind an anchor point, he could still accurately travel to that world again.

It was still the familiar Captain’s Cabin. He had always been accustomed to traveling through worlds here, but now it seemed he needed to reserve a sufficiently large room specifically for teleportation.

Otherwise, with more and more people and piles of bags and luggage, a small space simply would not hold everyone.

So many people suddenly returned, and they had abruptly arrived in another place after a moment of disorientation. Bumping into things was unavoidable, and the commotion was not small.

Laura was in the cabin and was the first to realize Yinsen had returned. She was therefore the first to run over and open the Captain’s Cabin door, only to be stunned by how many people were inside.

"Wow!"

It was not surprising for Yinsen to bring back a pile of things after traveling through worlds, but bringing back so many people this time was rare. She had gone to several worlds with Yinsen before and had never seen him bring back so many people at once.

Laura quickly spotted Selene among the crowd. Selene had gone traveling with Yinsen this time with a mission.

Laura needed some personal items and had been counting on Selene to buy them for her. It seemed Selene had not forgotten, because Laura saw her sorting through the suitcases in her hands before pushing one toward her.

"This suitcase contains what you wanted."

"Good thing you were there."

Laura had gradually grown up under Selene’s guidance. She understood the things a girl needed to know and was no longer like the wild child she had originally been, ignorant of many common things.

She had gradually realized that many items were inconvenient to ask her father Logan or her uncle—older brother?—Yinsen to buy for her, so she could only ask Selene, another woman.

The door was open, and the voices of Laura and Selene talking carried outside. Logan knew Yinsen had returned, and he also smelled many unfamiliar scents.

"Did Yinsen bring newcomers back?"

Loki, who had also been sunbathing on the deck, stood up and walked to the cabin entrance to look inside. Then he looked up at Logan by the helm and spread his hands. "Looks like he brought back quite a few people."

After locking the helm in place, Logan came straight down. He was not curious about whom Yinsen had brought back; he had simply asked Yinsen to buy him cigars, and he hoped the world Yinsen visited sold them.

But the moment he entered the cabin, he saw a group of women.

Finding Yinsen among the crowd, Logan walked over and located "his own suitcase," then looked at Yinsen curiously. "Did you go to a world full of women?"
