Break apart

Colorful, who had been following by Qin Ming's side, had seen Qin Ming perform Alchemy for a ninth-grade pill more than once, so he was already accustomed to the thunder.

"Hmm?" Qin Qing looked toward the Medicinal Pill in the sky. At this moment, that Medicinal Pill containing lightning flew very high.

It seemed as if a heavenly thunder had just struck the Medicinal Pill, though she hadn't seen it clearly.

"Boom…" Another peal of thunder rang out, and a bolt of lightning as thick as a wrist struck toward the Medicinal Pill.

The black Medicinal Pill was completely shattered upon being struck by the lightning.

However, Qin Ming was not worried at all. Sure enough, the next second, the Medicinal Pill aggregated together again, becoming even purer in its black color, and the lightning within the Medicinal Pill became even more distinct.

"Go up and accept the baptism of lightning." With a wave of Qin Ming's hand, the Medicinal Pill flew toward the black clouds in the sky like a swallow returning to its nest.

"Boom…" The black clouds seemed to sense the provocation from the black Medicinal Pill, and carrying the fury of the thunder, they struck toward the black Medicinal Pill.

The black Medicinal Pill took the blow without sustaining any damage; instead, it absorbed a portion of the lightning into the Medicinal Pill.

"Boom, boom…" Two loud bangs sounded in succession as two bolts of lightning struck down together. The Medicinal Pill in the air did not refuse them; it actually took the initiative to meet them.

After five bolts of lightning, the black clouds seemed to realize they could do nothing to the black Medicinal Pill and slowly dissipated.

"Come back." Qin Ming beckoned, and the black Medicinal Pill descended from the sky.

A black Medicinal Pill the size of a fist appeared in Qin Ming's hand.

"Brother, how can there be such a large Medicinal Pill?" Qin Qing walked over and asked curiously, "What kind of Medicinal Pill did you refine, and why did the heavens want to strike it?"

"This Medicinal Pill isn't big at all," Qin Ming said with a smile. "Here, please help me break it open."

"Ah, this Medicinal Pill can even be broken open?" Qin Qing was even more curious. She took the Medicinal Pill and felt a slight tingling sensation, as well as some warmth.

She squeezed it, and the surface felt a bit soft.

"It really seems like it can be broken open." Qin Qing curiously applied force and pulled it apart. Immediately, the round Medicinal Pill was split into two halves.

As soon as the black Medicinal Pill was broken open, it emitted a refreshing fragrance, and lightning rushed out from the Medicinal Pill, disappearing in an instant.

"How beautiful." Qin Qing looked at the lightning disappearing into the sky; it was Colorful and truly a sight to behold.

Inside the black Medicinal Pill, there were surprisingly five tiny Medicinal Pills. These Medicinal Pills were also black, but inside them, lightning was circulating, leaving Qin Qing dumbfounded.

Qin Ming looked at these Medicinal Pills, and suddenly, it felt as if a bolt of heavenly thunder had flashed through his mind.

"I understand, I understand!" He shouted loudly, unable to contain his excitement.

"I know why my new Medicinal Pills have always failed. I kept thinking about Fusion, but some Spiritual Qi simply cannot be fused. Just like the hidden dragon grass, it is naturally independent of other spirit plants and cannot be fused at all."

"And because I forced it to fuse with other spirit plants, it naturally lost all its medicinal efficacy."

The key point that Qin Ming had never been able to figure out was instantly answered when he saw this thunder prohibition pill.

It turned out that he had been on the wrong path from the very beginning; no wonder he couldn't succeed.

Although most Medicinal Pills are formed by the Fusion of spirit plants.

Some Medicinal Pills are very special and simply cannot be refined using Fusion.

And these types of Medicinal Pills are only a very small portion of all Medicinal Pills; Qin Ming had never thought in this direction.

The moment he saw the thunder prohibition pill, he realized that the hidden dragon grass, just like the heavenly thunder wood, had unique properties.

This is why the heavenly thunder wood requires unique Alchemy techniques and needs to actively accept lightning; it is because only the lightning from the heavens can activate the lightning nature within the heavenly thunder wood, making it docile.
