In mere moments, the pirate warships that had been so imposing before were all rammed through and blown apart by that dazzling figure.

Yes, rammed through—she charged straight through them, emerged from the back, and then the warships exploded. It was that simple.

After all the pirate warships had been destroyed, the dazzling light stopped and floated majestically in the air. It was a blonde, square-faced woman covered in shimmering radiance.

"Captain Marvel!"

The defenders cheered. Captain Marvel was the guardian deity of weak planets and had protected many cities.

Captain Marvel Carol waved to the crowd, then turned to leave. She was very busy; the entire Milky Way Galaxy needed her protection.

Just then, Carol’s communicator rang. After she answered it, Talos the Skrull’s anxious voice came through. "Carol, this is bad…"

Carol did not say anything more. She tugged hard, pulling Ivan toward her. Then she clenched her fist, intending to give him a brutal punch.

Yet Carol was still uninjured. She flew back up and sneered. "Is that all?"

"That guy is famously weak. Watch me instead."

Tony pressed his hands together, and a High-Temperature Light Beam blasted fiercely at Carol. Carol raised her right hand, using her energy radiance to block the beam.

"You spend all day hiding in your study, and you have the nerve to call me weak?"

Ivan smiled disdainfully and fired a massive Lightning Beam at Carol. Carol raised her left hand and firmly blocked it.

Even against two opponents, Carol did not fall behind in the slightest. She taunted loudly, "Is that all?"

Just then, with a bang, Carol was slammed away by a green figure. The building across from them instantly collapsed, kicking up a massive cloud of dust.

It was Hulk, wearing two bracers. Banner’s expression appeared on his face as he apologized, "Sorry, you were too arrogant. Both Hulk and I wanted to hit you."

Everyone burst out laughing. Then Hulk shouted excitedly, "Let Hulk do it! You two weaklings, stand aside and applaud for me."

Tony and Ivan gave Hulk the middle finger at the same time. That bastard had entered a rebellious phase recently and was becoming more and more irritating.

At that moment, a dazzling figure charged out of the building opposite and slammed into Hulk. Hulk was immediately sent flying backward and smashed apart a flower bed.

Hulk was enraged. He climbed up and launched a fierce attack on Carol. Fearless, Carol deflected Hulk’s massive arm and unleashed a vicious combination on his face, beating Hulk back again and again.

Hulk roared, his body instantly swelling by another round. Then he punched at Carol, blasting even the air apart.

Carol was somewhat surprised. She dodged Hulk’s punch and heavily struck him beneath the jaw. Hulk was sent soaring into the sky.

At this moment, the Nova Corps arrived. Crystal immediately went over to negotiate. "This is a matter of the Earth Federation. Do not interfere. We will compensate for all damages at double the cost."

"Actually, we don’t want to interfere either. That’s the famous Captain Marvel, guardian of the galaxy."

Hulk raised his hand, wanting to strike Carol again, but Carol shouted furiously. Energy erupted from her entire body, and Hulk was blasted away along with a pile of rubble.

Then Carol flew into the air and taunted again, "Is that all?"

Everyone gritted their teeth a little. This woman was truly arrogant—though in truth, Carol merely wanted to see how strong the Earthlings were.

"Kill her."

Tony and the others were about to gang up on Carol when Wang Bert appeared out of thin air and shouted, "Stop!"

Carol turned and asked coldly, "Who are you?"

"An ancient god of Vampires who has lived for thousands of years—the Blood God."

Wang Bert spoke calmly while touching the bead in his hand. An invisible ripple swept through the area, destroying all surrounding recording equipment.

"The Blood God is a god of Vampires?"

Carol was extremely shocked, while everyone beside her rolled their eyes. You were barely in your twenties, so why did you always like pretending to be an ancient monster?

"Yes, Vampires exist in this world."

Wang Bert smiled. "I know who you are. Do you think we should talk first and fight later, or fight first and talk later?"

Carol flew over and punched fiercely at Wang Bert’s chest. Wang Bert did not move at all; faint spatial radiance lit up around him.

Ivan nodded and asked Wang Bert, "Bert, who is this crazy woman?"

Then Wang Bert introduced her. "This is Captain Marvel Carol. She is Nick Fury’s final trump card. She’s the one who gave Fury that pager."

"Because of Space Energy."

Tony looked Carol over and said, "What a pity. Have Dr. Richards send me the research materials. I’ll study them too."

Ivan scoffed. "You want to restore your youth so you don’t have to keep hiding in your study, right?"

Tony snapped, "I told you, I wasn’t hiding in my study. I was avoiding hurting Pepper."

"Are you done talking?"

Carol shouted angrily. She stopped bombarding Wang Bert with energy and cursed at him, "Besides standing there without moving, what else can you do?"

"This."

Wang Bert raised his hand toward Carol, and a dazzling energy beam roared forth. Carol was instantly turned into a meteor and launched high into the sky.

Tony looked up at the sky. After a moment, he asked in shock, "Did you hit her all the way to a satellite?"

"Yes. She’s scraping against it pretty hard. That woman is too arrogant. If I don’t beat her up first, she won’t be easy to talk to."

Wang Bert smiled. The energy was all Carol’s own anyway; there was no reason not to use it.
