Change equipment, four masters!

Cao Xing analyzed, "This scope is quite suitable for Renice; after all, her critical hit rate is always in a 100% state."

"And the triangular hat on her head can be swapped out for Little Chuchu or Elisa."

Soon, Cao Xing had already decided on the allocation in his mind.

Then there was another reward, which was also a very important one.

[ Divine Power Shard * 3 ]

This was the reward for clearing the tenth wave.

Just like the shards obtained before, they can replenish 10 points of Divine Power for certain equipment or entities that use Divine Power.

Cao Xing thought, "Perfect. The Divine Power Shards in my backpack were consumed by 3 during the battle with Malenia, leaving 6 left."

"Obtaining 3 more this time is equivalent to being able to directly replenish 90 points of Divine Power."

"And for Malenia to activate her second form, she needs 500 points of Divine Power—"

"If I add the daily collection speed of the 'power beads', calculating it out, I probably still need about a hundred days or so."

After arriving at this number, not only did Cao Xing not feel it was a long time, but on the contrary, he was very happy!

Because after a hundred-plus days, Malenia can activate her second form and possess Legendary combat power.

And after the [ Eternal Power ] bonus, it directly makes this form permanent, which is equivalent to Cao Xing permanently possessing a Legendary creature.

By then, even when facing the Watchers and the Blood Legion, he would have more confidence.

Thinking of this, his mood became even more excited.

However, after the joy, Cao Xing also started to worry, "These Divine Power values are still not enough—"

Right now, he still has many things in his backpack that need Divine Power.

First is the [ Balthazar's Altar of Deities ], which has currently been unlocked to the fifth-tier breakthrough; to unlock the sixth tier, it needs Divine Power injected.

Although he doesn't know how much to inject, he estimates it won't be less than 100 points of Divine Power.

Additionally, there is the [ Lizardman Ancestor Statue ]. As his trump card, Cao Xing must always reserve more than 50 points of Divine Power for it, just in case.

Therefore, the Divine Power Shards in his backpack are simply not enough.

"It seems that if I want to possess Legendary combat power, the road ahead is long and arduous!"

However, Cao Xing also knows that clearing the tenth wave will fixedly give 3 Divine Power Shards.

In his heart, he is already looking forward to the arrival of the next monster siege.

Up to this point, all the gains from this battle have been basically counted.

Not only has Cao Xing's strength improved, but by distributing these pieces of equipment, the strength of others can also receive a significant boost.

Then, he found Assam, Renice, and Elisa.

He handed the [ Stone Flux Shoulder Armor ] and [ Laser Scope ] to the two of them respectively.

Then he gave the triangular hat that Renice replaced to Elisa to equip.

The three of them put on their new equipment at the same time.

Especially Assam; before this, he had a full 62,000 attack power (lady of the lake sword + permanent Frost Wolf Dance state + a series of blessings).

And now, after equipping the [ Stone Flux Shoulder Armor (Orange) ], his base strength surged by 100%, and his attack power increased by a full 14,000, almost breaking through 80,000.

It sounds like it might still not be as terrifying as Malenia.

But what one must know is that Assam is currently only a level 70 commander.

He has too many opportunities for improvement.

Once he reaches level 100 and breaks through to Sovereign, 150,000 attack power will be easy.

Plus, the lady of the lake sword can gain attack power every day by slaying enemies.

Over time, even 1,000,000 attack power is probably not a difficult task.

By then, it is hard to imagine just how powerful Assam will be!

Of course, since Assam equipped the shoulder armor, the gauntlets of the Knight Set could not be equipped, so there was no set effect.

Cao Xing pondered for a moment and simply equipped him with the [ Tyrant's Skull ] as well.

Assam took off the golden [ Fearless Knight Helmet ] on his head and put on the red [ Tyrant's Skull ].

In this way, the set only has the three-piece effect left.

However, these two individual pieces are more powerful, boosting his output capability by a large margin, and the special effect of the Tyrant's Skull also offset the negative effect of the shoulder armor, which is still very good.

Of course, the new equipment that Renice changed into on the other side is also very powerful.

The [ Laser Scope ] in her hand is actually equipment similar to a half-helmet; now that she has put it on, it only reveals the lower half of her face.

Underneath her petite nose bridge, her light red lips moved slightly.

Mysterious red light circulated within the eye mask; entities swept by her seemed as if the secrets in their hearts had been seen through.

This scope made her damage also surge by a large margin!

Beside her, Elisa was fidgeting with the triangular hat on her head, looking very happy.

After obtaining the new equipment, the three of them said respectfully in unison, "Thank you, Lord!"

Cao Xing smiled, "You worked hard in today's battle; go back and rest first."

"Okay!" The three of them quickly turned around and left this place.

Then, he called the new members, Farnaz and Tian Jing, over together.

The priestess Farnaz's robe dragged on the ground, the hat on her head covered her face, and she walked over gracefully while holding a large staff.

Speaking of which, this priestess also masters the power of plague and also has a talent for immunity to plague.

However, she can only be immune to those not higher than her own level.

Unlike Cao Xing's [ Death Walker ] title, even Legendary-grade plague would not have an effect on him.

After the two walked over, they bowed slightly.

Tian Jing said with an excited face, "Boss! Are you calling me?"

Cao Xing nodded slightly, then took out two Master-level Hearts of Power from his backpack and said, "I see that your levels have both reached the fifth-tier max level."

"Now take these two Hearts of Power and use them, then break through to the sixth tier."

Upon hearing this, the two had different reactions.

Tian Jing appeared extremely excited, while Farnaz on the side kept her head down, with no expression visible.

They walked over and solemnly took the items from Cao Xing's hands.

"Thank you, Boss!"

Tian Jing said loudly, "I didn't expect to be able to break through to the sixth tier so quickly; it's just like a dream!"

"Right now, among all the Survivors globally, not many people can reach the sixth tier, haha!"

The experience of this one night can be said to be even more exciting than his past few months.

He never thought that power could be possessed so easily.

If he relied on his current strength, he would simply not be afraid of others capturing him to do experiments!

Of course, Tian Jing is also very self-aware.

He knows that all of this was bestowed by the man in front of him; if not for him, he would still be a level 4 corpse, being slaughtered by others!

At the same time, he made a decision in his heart.

If anyone dares to cause trouble for this territory or Cao Xing, he will give his all to make the other party pay a heavy price!

In his eyes, a trace of ruthlessness gradually appeared!

Farnaz on the side, after receiving the Heart of Power, pulled down her hat brim again to cover her unique face.

Then she said softly, "Thank you—"

[ Due to your generous gift, territory member: Farnaz's loyalty has increased. Current loyalty: 76 ]

Cao Xing didn't say much and said directly, "Start the breakthrough."

The two immediately followed suit, crushing the Hearts of Power in their hands and absorbing them—

As the aura of poisonous flames and plague rose, in less than two minutes, a system prompt appeared.

[ Your subordinate lord: Tian Jing has successfully broken through to a sixth-tier creature. The level cap is opened to level 70. ]

On the other hand, Farnaz failed.

There was no expression on her face, and she seemed to accept her failure calmly.

And Cao Xing's heart had no fluctuations either, and he took out another Heart of Power from his backpack.

Now, his [ Master-level Heart of Power ] reserve only has the last two left.

"Continue."

The priestess took it again, nodded gently to express her gratitude. This time, her breakthrough was very smooth.

When the aura of plague and calamity spread out from her body, a system prompt appeared.

[ Your territory member: Farnaz has successfully broken through to a sixth-tier Commander-level creature. Base attributes increased by 100%, HP + 100%, abnormal status resistance + 50% ]

Cao Xing was secretly happy.

Then he continued, "Alright, since the breakthrough is complete, you should go back and rest too."

"Okay, Boss!" Tian Jing replied quickly.

Then, the two quickly left this place.

And at this moment, Cao Xing, after they left, a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, "Very good, now there are two more Master-level powerhouses in the territory."

"Tian Jing's strength is just about enough for him to stand on his own. Once this fog disaster ends, I can start preparing for the second territory."

"As for the population and staff, there's no need to worry. I'll let him create a legion, and by using my name, many Survivors will definitely be willing to join."

"Legions have many very good blueprints, and high-level legions also provide attribute bonuses."

"Oh right, I can bring Yao Yiming and the others along too."

"Besides that—"

Cao Xing walked while thinking about his future plans.

Then, he glanced at the two remaining Master-level Heart of Power items in his backpack, along with one White-Robed Priest leader soul, and thought to himself: "Looking at it now, I probably won't get any new recruitment scrolls in the short term."

"For now, I might as well use these resources directly to upgrade the others."

Consequently, Cao Xing summoned the Wild Boar Warrior Rabb and the Silver Hand Knights member Furtagan.

Both of them were leaders of a legion, especially Rabb, who had followed Cao Xing for a very long time.

However, because the territory's resources were scarce back then, he could only upgrade Rabb to the chieftain-level.

Now, he could try to upgrade him to a leader-level, and then they could break through together.

Soon, Rabb, holding dual blades, and Furtagan, clad in knight armor, walked over quickly.

"Oh! Mighty Lord, Rabb has arrived!"

"Lord, good evening."

Cao Xing didn't say much and directly tossed the White-Robed Priest leader soul to Rabb.

Rabb caught it instinctively, and upon feeling the power within the soul, he immediately understood something.

"Beast God above! Rabb is finally going to break through to the leader-level, this is amazing!"

"Thank you, my Lord!" Rabb appeared incredibly excited.

Cao Xing smiled, "Use it."

"Yes!"

Rabb immediately tucked his dual blades into his belt and then slapped the soul into his body.

A moment later, a surge of wild power rose from this rugged warrior!

A system notification appeared.

[Your territory member: Rabb has successfully transformed into a Tier 5 leader-level creature, base attributes increased by 30%, learned new skill: Whirlwind Blade]

[Whirlwind Blade: Holding dual blades, enter a high-speed spinning state, and can move while doing so, dealing continuous slashing damage to all enemies along the path, duration 10 seconds, cooldown: 120 seconds]

Seeing the attributes of this skill, a smile appeared on Cao Xing's face.

Ultra-high-speed slashes that allow for movement at any time, combined with the Wild Boar Warrior's Blood-Sucking Blade, he could truly jump into a group of monsters and go on a rampage without dying.

"Mighty Lord! I succeeded!" the Wild Boar Warrior shouted.

Cao Xing didn't say much more, taking out two Master-level Heart of Power items from his backpack and handing them to Rabb and Furtagan respectively.

"Continue."

Seeing this, the two level 50 leaders exchanged a glance, then thanked him respectfully again.

"Thank you, my Lord!"

After speaking, they took the Master-level Heart of Power items and crushed the crystals in their hands without hesitation.

The pure power was absorbed by them.

This breakthrough went very smoothly.

In less than three minutes, a wild and majestic aura rose from both of them simultaneously!

"Hum!"

A powerful wave of energy swept out, which also meant their breakthrough was successful.

[Your territory member: Furtagan has successfully transformed into a Tier 6 leader-level creature, base attributes increased by 100%, HP +100%, abnormal status resistance +50%]

[Your territory member: Rabb—]

Five Master-level Heart of Power items created four Master-level powerhouses.

This success rate made Cao Xing feel very satisfied.

The two of them, having broken through, were also very excited, and their surging power caused their presence to increase significantly!

Now, they could also call themselves Master-level powerhouses.

Cao Xing said: "Alright, you two go back and rest as well."

"Understood!"

Furtagan and Rabb left quickly.

Cao Xing checked the time; it was already 4:00 AM.

Opening the treasure chests and digesting these gains had taken about an hour.

Those staff members were still working hard to clean up the battlefield.

However, after an hour, they still hadn't finished cleaning up the entire battlefield.

This couldn't be helped; after all, their strength was getting stronger, and the destruction they caused was becoming increasingly terrifying.

After a battle, it took a significant amount of time to restore the site.

It was fine usually, as they could take their time, but now with the Sinking Mist Disaster, they could only do a rough restoration.

Consequently, Cao Xing called out: "That's enough, everyone go back and rest."

Hearing the order, all the staff members returned to the territory.

Then they each crawled back into their shelters to rest.

Before long, they drifted into dreamland with expressions of satisfaction.

They had worked all day and had been busy until after 3:00 AM.

Coupled with the two hours of intense fighting, they were indeed feeling exhausted.

Including Cao Xing, after handling the spoils from this time, he returned to the Lord's castle.

Around 4:00 AM.

At this time, the vast majority of creatures in the entire world had more or less entered a state of sleep.

And while everyone was completely unaware, in the territories of various Survivors, the mist spread silently, shrouding all the buildings.

The density of the mist surged significantly!

Previously, it only shrouded the outside of the territories, but now, even the visibility inside the territories had significantly decreased. The night passed quickly.

The next day, a system notification appeared.

[All Survivors, please take note! You have reached the fifteenth day of the development period. The next round of monster sieges will begin on the forty-fifth day of the development period.]

[The Sinking Mist Disaster has reached a new stage: Silent World. When night falls, please try not to emit bright light sources or make loud noises, otherwise, you may attract unknown creatures in the mist…]

[Today's weather: Heavy fog, minimum temperature is -63°C ~ -73°C, not suitable for going out.]

When the notification ended, Cao Xing and Liu Muxue opened their eyes on time.

He sighed inwardly: "As expected, the new stage arrived right after the monster siege ended."

"In this stage, you cannot make sounds or emit bright light, otherwise it will attract that kind of unknown danger."

"Fortunately, the danger mentioned by the system only appears after nightfall."

"In other words, we can still move around or work within the territory during the day."

Thinking of this, Cao Xing got up from the bed, walked to the window, and pulled back a corner of the curtain.

A vast expanse of white immediately appeared before him.

Even with his vision, he could only see a range of about one hundred meters.

At this moment, Liu Muxue, who had just woken up, poked her head out from under the covers and asked softly.

"Axing, how is the situation outside?"

Cao Xing replied: "The fog disaster seems to have intensified again."

"It seems that before this fog disaster disappears, we will have to stay in the territory even during the day."

Upon hearing this, a trace of worry appeared in Liu Muxue's eyes. If they couldn't go out during the day, it meant they couldn't go looking for those enhanced Ice Nests, which would waste a lot of development time.

Cao Xing, however, didn't have many thoughts on it.

After all, this fog disaster didn't just affect him; it affected the entire continent.

In other words, whether it was the Survivors, or those kingdoms and churches, none of them could act under this fog disaster.

Cao Xing also didn't need to worry about the Watchers and the Church of Light doing anything during this time.

Moreover, even while staying in the territory, Cao Xing could still improve his strength.

He hadn't finished absorbing his [Magic Crystals] yet.

Others could also go to the training grounds during the day to practice combat skills or learn some new skills.

Cao Xing turned back and said: "Muxue, there's nothing going on today, you should just rest in the room for now."

"I'll go give them their tasks."

Hearing this, Liu Muxue said softly: "No, I'll go with you."

"I don't want to keep lying in bed, I'll get fat, humph!"

As she said this, she quickly crawled out of the warm covers.

Cao Xing smiled and said: "Alright, let's go together."

Consequently, they quickly got dressed and then pushed open the doors of the Lord's castle.

"Gaa-ai!"

Instantly, a vast, white world appeared before them!
