Chapter 11 Hell Arena (I)
Lin Fan's new residence is a top-tier villa in Ningguta, covering over 10,000 square meters.
Due to its unique design and refined quality of life, it is known in Ningguta as the "Star-Moon Manor".
At the entrance of the villa stands a beautifully carved obsidian stele, inscribed with the four golden characters "Star-Moon Manor" in a vigorous and powerful calligraphy style.
The open-air swimming pool in the center of the courtyard is paved with photosensitive material, allowing it to reflect the starry sky at night, as if one were immersed in the vast galaxy.
As for the corridor leading to the main building, whenever moonlight falls, the specially made floor tiles emit a soft silver glow, making walking upon them feel like stepping into a dream.
The exterior design of the main building is highly modern, featuring a full glass curtain wall structure. It combines white and grey, covers a vast area, is divided into three floors, and has an overall L-shaped structure.
The interior decoration is even more incredibly luxurious.
The living room has a ten-meter high ceiling, with a massive crystal chandelier hanging from the center, emitting a brilliant radiance.
The marble floor is polished to a mirror finish, the furniture is entirely custom-made, the leather sofas are soft and comfortable, and the walls are adorned with authentic world-famous paintings.
The second floor houses a study, a gym, and a media room.
The third floor is a private area, featuring the master bedroom, an open-air balcony, and an independent hot spring pool.
The basement level is a top-tier parking garage, specially customized for his collection of luxury cars.
The second basement level contains the cold storage warehouse, the weapons room, and the emergency security System.
In the left building, the first floor is the kitchen, and the second floor is the living area for the servants.
The right building, consisting of one floor, is entirely composed of guest rooms with built-in independent bathroom facilities, convenient for use when friends and relatives gather.
Four luxury cars parked one after another in front of the gate of "Star-Moon Manor".
After the headlights were extinguished, the manor's three-dimensional sensor lights instantly illuminated, casting a soft glow across the entire courtyard, reflecting a scene of luxury and tranquility.
The security guards and maids, who had been waiting at the entrance, stood in neat rows, bowed respectfully, and said in unison:
"Welcome home, Master."
Their voices were crisp and uniform, as if adding a sense of ritual to this top-tier manor.
Princess Hu Qinlan was the first to poke her head out of the car, looking around. She covered her slightly parted red lips with both hands, unable to hide her amazement:
"This place… it's simply like a castle from a fairy tale!"
A shimmer of light danced in her light green contact lenses, revealing a touch of dreaminess.
Princess Jin Xuan stepped out of the car elegantly. Even in this luxurious environment, she remained as beautiful as a painting.
She exclaimed in surprise, "This place is actually even more luxurious than the Yiyun Empire."
Yin Miaoxue also got out of the car, her gaze gentle, with a faint, cool smile on her face.
"Young Master, is this really our new home?"
Lin Fan stood by the car, the corners of his mouth curling into a faint smile, and he said with certainty: "Don't just stand there like a fool; this is already our home."
After saying this, he reached out to invite them to walk into the manor.
The maids quickly stepped forward to guide the three beautiful women.
The security guards slowly drove the four luxury cars into the underground parking garage.
As the group stepped into Star-Moon Manor, an atmosphere of luxury and comfort rushed towards them, dazzling their eyes.
Princess Jin Xuan was still in a state of shock, whispering with emotion: "Young Master, you really have hidden your true capabilities too well!"
Yin Miaoxue covered her mouth and chuckled, finding it rare to see Princess Jin Xuan display such a girlish demeanor.
Lin Fan watched their reactions, feeling a sense of relief in his heart.
This home was not only a place for him to stay but also the starting point for him to rewrite his future.
Lin Fan patted the old laptop in his arms, a meaningful smile rising at the corners of his mouth.
"Everything must start with you."
This laptop, full of the traces of time, carried his secret plan and was the core of his comeback.
However, his thoughts did not linger for too long, because there were more important matters to handle right now.
He looked around the spacious and peaceful courtyard of Star-Moon Manor, calculating in his heart.
Although the security guards of Star-Moon Manor had extraordinary combat power, their task was to protect the manor and the safety of Yin Miaoxue, Princess Hu Qinlan, and Princess Jin Xuan; they must not be easily taken away.
As for Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie, although these two had a tenacious, unyielding spirit, their talents were clearly more suited for mechanical repair, not for fighting.
Lin Fan needed to find more suitable candidates.
"Hell Arena," he muttered, spitting out these words.
This was an underground world permeated with blood and violence, hidden in the darkest area of the Ningguta city district.
It was rumored to be a paradise for outlaws and the desperate, or rather, their graveyard.
Vagrants, the unemployed, and even some warriors abandoned by society would gather here to survive or to chase after some illusory glory.
And the most eye-catching among them were those gladiators who had undergone cybernetic augmentation.
They discarded parts of their flesh and blood, replacing them with cold metal prosthetic limbs and enhanced organs, turning into veritable human combat machines.
Here, fists were the only rule; the victors could obtain huge wealth and a moment of dignity, while the losers could only end up as scrap metal to be dismantled.
Lin Fan knew this was a place he had to go.
He needed a group of fighters who could truly risk their lives for him, and these warriors happened to be his best choice.
One night, several days later, the streets of Ningguta gradually became deserted. Lin Fan was alone, driving the starfire c9, speeding along the outskirts of the city.
Inside the car, the dashboard flickered with an ice-blue light. His gaze was composed, carrying an Aura of confidence.
When the car drove into an abandoned industrial zone, he stopped.
It was silent here, with only the occasional sound of the wind.
Lin Fan got out of the car and looked up at a dilapidated building not far away. The entrance had four flickering blood-red characters spelled out in neon tubes: "Hell Arena".
He whispered to himself: "I hope this place won't disappoint me."
He adjusted his collar, took a step forward, and strode toward that heavy iron door.
Two tall, cybernetically augmented guards at the entrance stared at him coldly, their mechanized eyes emitting a faint red light, as if scrutinizing his every bone.
"Newbie?" one of them asked, their voice low and raspy.
"Here to find someone." Lin Fan replied without hesitation, his tone steady and carrying a hint of unquestionable authority.
The iron door slowly opened, and the smell of blood and noisy clamor rushed towards him. Lin Fan stepped into this purgatory filled with slaughter without a moment's hesitation.
The two tall guards behind Lin Fan curled their lips into cold, sinister smiles.
They watched Lin Fan's back, their eyes revealing a hint of disdain and curiosity, as if waiting to see if this newcomer could leave alive.
Up ahead, a young girl was slowly leading the way.
She looked to be only seventeen or eighteen years old, yet she bore heavy traces of mechanical augmentation.
Her right leg from below the knee was completely replaced by a metal prosthetic limb, its surface gleaming with a cold metallic luster, and every step emitted a slight mechanical sound.
The girl's attire was unreserved; she wore only a narrow thong and a thin-strapped bra that barely covered her vital parts, leaving large areas of pale-red skin exposed.
Most eye-catching was the cybernetic tail attached to her waist, long and flexible, swaying gently with the movement of her hips.
The end of the tail was also equipped with a small, sharp blade that glinted with a cold light; it was clearly not just a decoration.
She turned back to look at Lin Fan, revealing a sweet yet eerie smile, and said in a voice that was delicate yet cold: "Guest, please follow me. The person you are looking for is just ahead."
