Chapter 112: Dual Spirits Awakening

The next morning, sunlight spilled into the room through the window lattice.

Su Yun opened his eyes, feeling refreshed and invigorated.

The nurtured Qi he had absorbed last night had completely merged into his Dantian. His cultivation at the Early Golden Core Stage was even more stable, and he was one step closer to the Middle Stage.

He got up from the bed and dressed neatly.

Pushing the door open, Shen Ying was already busy in the courtyard.

Seeing Su Yun come out, she hurriedly greeted him.

"Good morning, Young Master. Breakfast is ready."

Su Yun nodded and sat down at the stone table.

On the table were spiritual rice porridge, several small side dishes, and a plate of snacks. He picked up the bowl and took a sip; it tasted good.

"Where is Ruoyun?"

Shen Ying said, "Miss Zhou went to the Zhou Family early this morning. She said she has important matters to handle today and will only be back tonight."

Su Yun hummed in acknowledgment.

This girl was becoming more and more like a family head.

He ate his breakfast slowly, his gaze drifting toward the distant sky.

Zhao Wuchen and Liu Ruyan, whom he had accepted yesterday, should have already returned to Yuxu Palace. They were now the hidden pieces he had planted within the Immortal Alliance, ready to provide intelligence at any time.

Coupled with Hu Meiniang keeping an eye on the Hehuan Sect, he would know about every move of the Immortal Alliance immediately.

This feeling was not bad.

After finishing breakfast, Su Yun returned to the study.

He sat down on the couch, closed his eyes, and let his mind sink into his Sea of Consciousness.

Within the Sea of Consciousness, it was vast and boundless.

On the ice-blue water surface, two small figures sat quietly in meditation.

True Monarch Bingpo was still in the appearance of a seven or eight-year-old girl, her large blue eyes closed, her little face pink and tender, breathing evenly. A faint ice-blue halo surrounded her, much more solid than before.

The Blood-colored Girl sat cross-legged beside her, still retaining that cold demeanor, with long blood-red hair draped over her shoulders and a faint red glow surrounding her. Her aura was also much more stable, no longer as weak as before.

Su Yun's thoughts stirred, and he gave a soft call.

"Wake up."

Both figures opened their eyes simultaneously.

True Monarch Bingpo blinked, and upon seeing Su Yun, a smile immediately blossomed on her little face.

"Master!"

She bounced up, wanting to rush over, but realized she had no physical body in the Sea of Consciousness and could only bounce in place.

Su Yun smiled.

"How do you feel?"

True Monarch Bingpo tilted her head and thought about it.

"Subordinate feels much better! Power has recovered more than half!"

The Blood-colored Girl stood up, walked to Su Yun, and bowed her head slightly.

"Master, subordinate has also recovered quite a bit."

Su Yun looked at her.

This woman still had that cold appearance, but there was clearly a bit more warmth in those eyes.

He nodded.

"It is good that you have recovered. For the next period, I may still need your help."

True Monarch Bingpo nodded vigorously.

"Master, rest assured! Subordinate is ready at any time!"

The Blood-colored Girl did not speak, simply silently channeling a sliver of power into Su Yun's body, letting him feel her current state.

That power was much stronger than before; although it hadn't reached its peak, it was already enough to support a major battle.

Su Yun nodded with satisfaction.

Withdrawing from the Sea of Consciousness, he opened his eyes.

The sunlight outside the window was just right.

With the power of True Monarch Bingpo and the Blood-colored Girl, even if he encountered an Early Nascent Soul Stage Cultivator now, he would have the strength to fight.

If the Immortal Alliance sent people again, he would not have to hide.

Just as he was thinking this, footsteps came from outside the courtyard.

Shen Ying hurried into the study.

"Young Master, Zhao Han is back."

Su Yun raised an eyebrow.

"Let him in."

A moment later, Zhao Han walked into the study.

His expression was somewhat heavy.

"Master, there is news."

Su Yun looked at him.

"Speak."

Zhao Han lowered his voice:

"The Immortal Alliance has sent people again. This time it is three Golden Core Late Stage Cultivators, and five Golden Core Middle Stage Cultivators. They set off from Yuxu Palace, and their target is still the Southern Region."

Su Yun frowned.

Going to the Southern Region again?

"Do they not know that the second batch of people is already gone?"

Zhao Han shook his head.

"News of the second batch has been suppressed. The Immortal Alliance only claims externally that they are still executing their mission, but in reality, they already know something happened to them. The people sent this time are to investigate the whereabouts of the second batch."

Su Yun was silent for a moment.

He suddenly smiled.

"Let them investigate. All they will find is empty mountains."

Zhao Han hesitated for a moment.

"Master, there is one more thing. That Nascent Soul Elder from Yuxu Palace seems to have discovered something in the Southern Region. It is said he has already locked onto a general area and is narrowing the search circle."

Su Yun narrowed his eyes.

A Nascent Soul Elder, locking onto an area?

The location of Qingyou Valley was indeed hidden, but a Nascent Soul Stage Cultivator searching with all his might would eventually find clues.

He had to do something.

"Keep watching. Report any news immediately."

Zhao Han nodded and exited the study.

Su Yun leaned back in his chair, looking out the window.

Elder Han Yue and the others should be able to handle it. But if that Nascent Soul Elder really found Qingyou Valley, the safety of the hundreds of Enslavement would become a problem.

He had to find a way to divert that Nascent Soul Elder's attention.

Just as he was thinking, a Jade Slip at his waist suddenly lit up.

It was a message from Hu Meiniang.

Su Yun picked up the Jade Slip and channeled his spiritual power into it.

Hu Meiniang's voice echoed in his mind:

"Master, there is a change within the Immortal Alliance. The Sect Master of the Hehuan Sect has suddenly announced seclusion, and internal fighting within the Sect has intensified. Subordinate took the opportunity to approach another Elder and learned some news. The Immortal Alliance is gathering power, preparing for a large-scale purge of the Southern Region. It is said that three Early Nascent Soul Stage Cultivators are participating, and the target is unclear. Subordinate will continue to watch, Master please be careful."

Su Yun's brows furrowed tightly.

Three Early Nascent Soul Stage Cultivators?

The Immortal Alliance was getting serious.

He put down the Jade Slip and fell into deep thought.

If three Early Nascent Soul Stage Cultivators really went to the Southern Region, Qingyou Valley would definitely not be able to hide.

He had to lead that Nascent Soul Elder away before they arrived.

Or…

He looked out the window, his gaze becoming deep.

Or, make the Immortal Alliance think he was still in the Central Region.

As long as they thought he was still in the Central Region, there wouldn't be too much pressure on the Southern Region.

He stood up and walked to the window.

Sunlight spilled in, and the courtyard was peaceful.

But soon, all of this would be broken.

He had to be prepared.

Behind him, Shen Ying asked softly:

"Young Master, what should we do next?"

Su Yun turned around and looked at her.

"Let Zhao Han and the others keep watching. Also, notify Zhou Ruoyun, don't go out for these few days, stay in the courtyard."

Shen Ying nodded.

Su Yun looked into the distance.

Immortal Alliance, come on.

Just right to test the power of True Monarch Bingpo and the Blood-colored Girl after their recovery.

In the evening, Zhou Ruoyun returned.

As soon as she entered, she threw herself into Su Yun's arms.

"Brother Su, Ruoyun was so amazing today! Those clan Elders were left speechless by Ruoyun and didn't dare to cause trouble anymore!"

Su Yun smiled and ruffled her hair.

"My Ruoyun is truly amazing."

Zhou Ruoyun lifted her head, her eyes sparkling.

"Brother Su, Ruoyun brought you a gift today."

She took a small box out of her bosom and opened it.

Inside was a jade pendant, emerald green throughout, warm and moist like jade.

"This is what Ruoyun saw in the market, I thought Brother Su would look good wearing it."

Su Yun took the jade pendant; it was warm to the touch, indeed quite nice.

He looked down at Zhou Ruoyun.

The little girl looked up, her eyes full of anticipation.

He smiled and lowered his head to give her a light kiss on the forehead.

"I like it very much."

Zhou Ruoyun blushed and buried her face in his chest.

Outside the window, the night grew deep.

In the distance, the calls of night birds could be faintly heard.

Su Yun held her and looked out the window.

The storm was coming.

But he was not afraid.

He had people.

He had many, many people.
