Chapter 1133: Calamity, Dao Secret Realm

After fighting for a long time, Han Ye finally woke up from his dream.

This wasn't the first time he had such a dream; whenever he entered a state of cultivation, he would be ensnared by such nightmares. Crucially, he couldn't even calculate the Karma of this dream.

Could it be because I've killed too much, formed from Karma and resentment?

Han Ye frowned, but his Innate Great Fortune was killing karma; he had grown to this day by relying on killing karma. If he were to give it up, it would be like cutting off his own right arm.

The most terrifying part was that once Han Ye stopped killing for too long, his cultivation would slowly decline. How could Han Ye accept becoming weaker?

"I must resolve this dream, otherwise I won't be able to Cultivate in the future and will only be able to kill."

Han Ye muttered to himself as he stood up and continued to kill in the planned direction.

Since he couldn't find the source of the problem, he would just keep killing!

One day, he would find the fellow in his dream and kill them to eliminate the trouble forever!

Somewhere in the Blank Domain, thousands of Great Worlds surrounded a giant palace like stars; it was the Creation Imperial Court.

After the Great Dao Calamity ended, the status of the Creation Imperial Court soared. It was now one of the most famous Holy Lands in the Endless Era, and the Emperor was even given the responsibility of managing the order of the Endless Era.

Today, the Creation Imperial Court has absorbed many great experts, including ancient gods who left behind illustrious legends during the Great Dao Calamity, such as Dao Supreme, Zhao Xuanyuan, Jiang Yi, Lao Dan, and Li Daokong.

From the perspective of a Great Dao Sage, a hundred million years is not long, but for all beings—those existences below the Saint Realm—a hundred million years is already the transition of several eras.

Inside the palace.

Han Yao and Han Tyrant God faced Han Ling; besides them, there was no one else.

Han Ling wore an exquisite and divine robe adorned with countless precious gems, each reflecting a small world. The divine light from her headpiece shone brilliantly, obscuring most of her face and leaving only her mouth visible—a mouth that alone was enough to stir endless imagination.

Han Yao said angrily, "Your Majesty, we must control Han Ye. If this continues, the reputation of our Creation Imperial Court will be disgraced by him!"

"Indeed. It's fine to kill enemies of the Creation Imperial Court—it's impossible for us to ever reach a point where we have no enemies—but he kills innocents indiscriminately, drawing the dissatisfaction of many forces."

Han Tyrant God followed up; he was also very dissatisfied with Han Ye.

After the Great Dao Calamity ended, although Han Ye still held a position in the Creation Imperial Court, his relationship with the Grandmist was clearly closer—specifically with Han Huang's Grandmist.

There were three Grandmists in the Endless Era, each located far apart with a subtle relationship. Han Huang was the most famous; during the Great Dao Calamity, his achievements were even higher than those of the Emperor of the Creation Imperial Court.

Han Ling spoke, "He has already fallen into his own calamity. Don't worry about it; just watch."

Han Yao asked in surprise, "What kind of calamity?"

"A calamity of life and death."

Han Yao frowned, as did Han Tyrant God.

Although they were unhappy with Han Ye, they still shared a bond forged in life and death and were of the same clan. How could they watch Han Ye die?

"You don't need to worry about this matter. I have something to entrust to you."

Han Ling continued, ignoring Han Yao and Han Tyrant God's minor emotions.

"The Formless World has opened the Dao Secret Realm, hoping that various forces can contribute a Mortal Realm. Each force is limited to only one Mortal Realm, and the cultivation within that Realm cannot exceed the God Realm. The purpose is to unite the Endless Era and allow various forces to establish certain connections. The choice of the Realm will be made by Han Yao. Han Tyrant God, you will go to the Dao Secret Realm to gather intelligence in advance and maintain contact with Han Yao at all times."

Han Ling instructed, and Han Yao and Han Tyrant God took their orders and left.

The sun shone brightly, and the vast mountain villa was shrouded in a majestic fog.

In a courtyard, Chu Xiaoqi was practicing Spells—specifically, a Transformation Spell—while Tang Wan was feeding a giant golden eagle, which was Chu Xiaoniao.

Chu Xiaoniao had always been free-roaming and had only recently found them. This made Chu Xiaoqi very happy; he had forgotten about Chu Xiaoniao and hadn't expected it to find its way here.

Little did he know that Chu Xiaoniao hadn't come for him, but for Han Jue.

Chu Xiaoniao already possessed intelligence. Han Jue had once given it some pointers, which had benefited it immensely. After wandering around for years, it realized its strength was too weak to become a Demon King, so it followed Chu Xiaoqi's Aura to come and Cultivate. Of course, Chu Xiaoniao did not show this.

Just then, a figure flew out from the mist.

This person had disheveled hair, appeared to be in his fifties or sixties, wore a magnificent black robe, and possessed an imposing Aura. His gaze fell upon Chu Xiaoqi.

"Kid, I've finally found you! So you're hiding in this ominous place. You're seeking death."

Chu Xiaoqi and Tang Wan looked up, their expressions changing drastically.

"Sect Leader…"

Tang Wan's face turned pale.

Chu Xiaoqi stood ready and shouted, "Old man Chen Xu, don't be so arrogant! My grandfather is here. If you dare to lay a hand on me, you're looking for death!"

Daoist Chen Xu did not capture Han Jue's Aura and concluded that Chu Xiaoqi was bluffing. He sneered, "Could your grandfather be a lonely ghost here?"

Chu Xiaoqi huffed, "My grandfather is an Immortal! Your illegitimate son committed many evils and harmed so many fellow disciples, yet as the Sect Leader, you didn't stop him. You deserve to die too. Today is the perfect time to let the Immortal uphold justice!"

"Laughable!"

Daoist Chen Xu's anger was instantly ignited. He had many illegitimate sons, but the one killed by Chu Xiaoqi was the most talented. He had even planned to send that son to a larger School in exchange for Medicinal Pills to break through to a higher Realm.

Unfortunately, all of this was ruined by this brat before him!

With a wave of his right hand, Daoist Chen Xu sent a figure falling in front of Chu Xiaoqi—the corpse of a handsome man.

Chu Xiaoqi's eyelids twitched.

He suddenly realized something was wrong; the other party hadn't just come to kill him.

"Today, you must die in my son's place. With your death, I shall exchange for my son's resurrection!"

Daoist Chen Xu said coldly. He took out a white ruler and pressed it downward. In an instant, a terrifying pressure descended, forcing Chu Xiaoqi and Tang Wan to cough up blood and kneel. The courtyard collapsed directly, and the fog in all directions was torn apart.

Just as Daoist Chen Xu was about to cast a Spell, he suddenly caught sight of a figure, causing his pupils to shrink.

When the mist cleared, a figure was sitting in meditation on the eaves of the neighboring Daoist temple; he hadn't noticed them at all.

Even though he could see the person now, his Divine Sense couldn't capture any Aura, as if this person didn't exist at all and he was just having a hallucination.

"There really is an Immortal?"

Such an absurd thought popped into Daoist Chen Xu's mind.

Just as he was about to speak, Han Jue opened his eyes and cast a cold glance. Before Daoist Chen Xu could even see Han Jue's eyes clearly, his Physical Body instantly petrified and then fell, crashing into the ruined courtyard and shattering into pieces, stone fragments scattering everywhere.

Chu Xiaoqi was dumbfounded, and Tang Wan also wore a look of disbelief.

What happened?

Chu Xiaoniao trembled in fear.

Han Jue's voice drifted over: "I wonder when you will be able to resolve all your troubles by yourself."
