Chapter 114

Shi Xingan wanted to say more, but suddenly his eyes widened, and he jumped up abruptly.

"This is… This is…"

Shi Xingan was trembling so hard he couldn't even speak.

The others also widened their eyes in shock.

Liang Yue's mouth was wide open, enough to fit two eggs.

Clatter!

The meat and wine in her hands fell to the ground together.

A shield appeared in Lin Moyu's hand.

Another [Hell Outpost Shield].

Chapter 116: Sentry Set, He Actually Thinks It's Too Much

What Lin Moyu had taken out was indeed an Outpost Shield.

It wasn't of the Normal difficulty, nor was it of the Nightmare difficulty.

Rather, it was a genuine [Hell Outpost Shield].

The exquisite patterns on the shield flickered with a dazzling golden light.

The light even carried a hint of purple, giving it a sense of luxury.

Shi Xingan's eyes were wide as saucers as he panted heavily, barely managing to calm down.

"Junior… Junior Brother Lin, where did you get this shield?"

Lin Moyu said calmly, "Dropped by the Outpost Guardian, just now."

Shi Xingan doubted his own ears. "Junior Brother Lin, are you saying it was dropped by the boss of the Hell difficulty?"

Lin Moyu nodded.

Shi Xingan continued, "Really the Hell difficulty…"

Before he could finish, he was interrupted by Liang Yue.

"You're blabbering and can't even speak clearly. Let me ask."

"Junior Brother Lin, did you solo the Hell difficulty Outpost Dungeon?"

Liang Yue's question was simple and direct, much clearer than Shi Xingan's rambling.

Lin Moyu gave a soft grunt. "I did."

How was that possible!

Absolutely impossible!

The same thought flashed through several of their minds at the same time.

They had heard of soloing Nightmare difficulty Dungeons before.

But soloing a Hell difficulty Dungeon? What kind of international joke was that?

Yet the truth was right before their eyes; the Hell Outpost Shield couldn't be fake.

They had run the Outpost Dungeon countless times and knew the drop rules for all the equipment and materials inside like the back of their hands.

Shi Xingan stared at the Hell Outpost Shield. "Junior Brother, can you sell this shield to me?"

Lin Moyu tossed the shield to Shi Xingan. "See if it can complete your set."

"It can! As long as it's Outpost equipment, it can form a set, regardless of which tier it is." Shi Xingan caught the shield excitedly.

Then, he equipped it.

In an instant, a pillar of golden light shot straight into the sky, dispersing the surrounding fog.

Dozens of pairs of eyes in the area were instantly drawn over.

"It's the Outpost Set."

"Someone has completed the Outpost Set."

"Oh, it's them. Then it's not surprising."

"Their team has been running this Dungeon here for a long time. It's only normal that they completed the set."

"I heard the stat bonuses for the Outpost Set are incredibly high, even better than some Platinum equipment."

"That's Hell Outpost equipment. The Nightmare level is only comparable to top-tier Gold equipment."

Many people looked on with envy.

Completing a set was no easy task.

One had to gather the weapon, armor, and jewelry.

Jewelry included bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings.

In other words, to complete the set, one needed at least six pieces of Outpost equipment.

In the Nightmare difficulty Outpost Dungeon, at most one piece of equipment would drop per run.

It wasn't guaranteed to be a suitable weapon for one's class, and the drop rate for jewelry was even lower than that of weapons.

Trying to complete it was indeed not easy.

Shi Xingan had finally completed the Outpost Set. Since the shield was of the Hell tier, his attributes increased drastically.

Liang Yue's beautiful eyes sparkled. "How is it?"

She was asking about the set attributes.

Shi Xingan said, "Very strong. All attributes +1,000, an extra 50% boost for Knight-type classes, and damage taken is reduced by half."

Halving damage taken—this attribute was far too important for a Knight.

The safety of the entire team would be boosted several times over.

Liang Yue's eyes lit up. "Doesn't that mean you've gotten a lot harder again?"

Shi Xingan said excitedly, "Indeed, a lot harder."

Suddenly, he realized there was something slightly off about those words.

His teammates were all looking at him with strange expressions.

Liang Yue also realized the double entendre in her words, and her pretty face flushed red.

Shi Xingan quickly changed the subject. "Junior Brother Lin, how much is this shield? Sell it to me."

Lin Moyu said softly, "Just give whatever you think is appropriate."

Earlier, Liang Yue had offered to carry him through the Dungeon and sell him any dropped equipment at a discount.

Lin Moyu was now returning the favor.

He didn't give a specific price, letting Shi Xingan decide.

Lin Moyu also believed that Shi Xingan wouldn't offer an unfair price.

The price of a Gold-grade shield ranged between 200,000 to 2,000,000 gold coins, and set pieces would be slightly more expensive.

For a Gold-grade piece like the Hell Outpost Shield, whose attributes could already rival Platinum equipment and was also part of a set, the price was bound to be astronomical.

Not only did it far exceed top-tier Gold equipment, but it was also more expensive than lower-tier Platinum equipment.

In addition, its rarity had to be factored in.

Equipment that only dropped from Hell difficulty Dungeons was extremely rare.

Shi Xingan pondered for a moment. "Junior Brother Lin, I'll give you 10 million gold coins. What do you think?"

This price was a full five times higher than a top-tier Gold-grade shield. Considering all factors, it was a fairly reasonable price.

Lin Moyu shook his head.

Shi Xingan immediately grew anxious. "Junior Brother Lin, I only have this many gold coins…"

Liang Yue and the others didn't look too pleased either.

In their eyes, 10 million was already a very generous price.

Lin Moyu said, "10 million is too much. This is only Gold equipment; it's not worth that much."

He actually thought it was too much…

How unexpected!

All of them looked at Lin Moyu in a new light.

Shi Xingan felt a bit embarrassed instead. "This shield isn't an ordinary Gold shield. It's worth this price."

Lin Moyu still shook his head. "In that case… let's make it 5 million. If you agree, we'll trade. If not, return the shield to me."

How could Shi Xingan possibly return something that was already in his hands?

Shi Xingan decisively traded 5 million gold coins to Lin Moyu.

With this transaction, the relationship between the two sides drew much closer.

Deep within the Abyss, in a pitch-black world, flames suddenly erupted. Within the flames, a giant crimson eye slowly emerged.

"Quite a few of our whelps have died. Go and see what's going on."

"As you command!"

Another voice rang out. Then, the giant eye closed, the flames vanished, and everything returned to darkness.

Lin Moyu drank some more fruit wine. His fatigue quickly faded, and he became full of energy once again.

He didn't expend his mental strength to summon skeletons.

140 Skeleton Warriors and 70 Skeleton Mages were enough for the time being.

He needed to save his mental strength to run Dungeons.

Having eaten and drunk their fill, the Dungeon cooldown for Shi Xingan's team came to an end.

Shi Xingan slowly stood up. "Junior Brother Lin, we're heading into the Dungeon."

Now, Shi Xingan's Outpost Set was complete, but the others were still missing pieces.

They still needed to run the Dungeon a few more times to see if they could complete their sets…

Lin Moyu nodded. "Be careful."

Shi Xingan also cautioned, "You be careful too. The Hell difficulty is very dangerous."

Suddenly, several of them turned their heads to look in a certain direction.

The fog churned as a six-man team rushed out from within.

The six-man team surged with a towering battle intent, clearly having just finished a battle.

As soon as they appeared, they firmly captured everyone's attention.

A halo flickered beneath the feet of all six members.

Under the effect of the halos, the team's speed became extremely fast, at least twice as fast as other Professionals of the same level.

They moved like lightning, and the fog parted to both sides before them.

"Halos! That's a Holy Light Knight!"

Someone cried out in surprise.

"Heavens, a Holy Light Knight, a Legendary-class Professional!"

"They are all from the Shenxia Empire. Looking at their attire, they should be from the same academy."

"Could it also be Xiajing Academy? It's said that the top colleges within Xiajing Academy have Legendary-class Professionals."

"A Legendary-class Professional… so incredibly powerful. It's truly enviable."
