Chapter 116

A group of people was chatting and laughing, seemingly waiting to watch Lin Moyu make a fool of himself.

Previously, when Lin Moyu entered the Hell difficulty, some people were also preparing to watch a joke play out.

Now, due to the Abyssal Demon Dogs' sudden attack, those people were either dead or had returned to the fortress.

Otherwise, they would definitely be greatly astonished by how Lin Moyu managed to stay in the Dungeon for so long.

As time passed, more and more Professionals kept arriving, and it was as if the incident with the Abyssal Demon Dogs had never happened.

Once again, people began looking for teammates and shouting to promote their stalls.

The entrance to the Dungeon also became increasingly lively.

The Hell-grade Dungeon had an oppressive and uncomfortable atmosphere.

Fortunately, there wasn't an especially strong, foul stench, or Ning Yiyi would have been covering her nose and complaining again.

Just after entering the Dungeon, Lin Moyu suddenly tapped his head. "I forgot."

Ning Yiyi asked curiously, "Forgot what?"

Lin Moyu said, "There's something I forgot to give you. I'll give it to you after we finish."

Once inside the Dungeon, storage space was sealed, and nothing could be taken out.

Lin Moyu had originally wanted to give the Hell Outpost Dagger to Ning Yiyi, but he only remembered after entering the Dungeon.

But it didn't matter; Ning Yiyi was only level 21 anyway, still far from level 30.

Giving it to her after they finished would be the same.

Ning Yiyi giggled and said, "Then there's no rush. Give it to me after we finish; I want to see what kind of good stuff it is."

"Alright."

140 Skeleton Warriors and 70 Skeleton Mages appeared at the same time.

Lin Moyu cast Bone Armor on both himself and Ning Yiyi.

Looking at the Bone Armor that appeared on her body, Ning Yiyi was incredibly surprised. "Is this a defensive skill you cast on me?"

Lin Moyu nodded. "It's safer this way."

"Hehe, you're so nice!" Ning Yiyi was extremely happy, laughing like an elf.

Entering the Dungeon for the second time, Lin Moyu did not pull monsters in large groups again.

Nor did he use the large-area Slow Curse, choosing instead to clear the monsters bit by bit.

The Dragon-race monsters in the Dungeon, except for the Assassins, all possessed crowd-control skills.

Pulling a large group to AOE them down was not only dangerous but didn't improve efficiency much either; it was better to just clear them step-by-step.

After leveling up, the attributes of the Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton Mages had been strengthened once again.

Their attack power was even higher than before.

Moreover, with his previous experience, Lin Moyu fought with even greater ease and familiarity.

In the blink of an eye, the three Dragon Spearmen on the path were cleared out.

Subsequently, the skeletons entered the small woods from the left side and began clearing their way through.

Ning Yiyi's eyes shone as she watched. "It looks so easy."

Lin Moyu smiled slightly. "It indeed isn't hard."

Ning Yiyi stuck out her tongue. "It's not hard for you, but for others, it's as difficult as ascending to heaven. When they run a Nightmare-grade Dungeon, they struggle for their lives; how could it be this easy?"

"This young lady still has the best judgment. I'll follow you to level up from now on, and you are not allowed to not party with me."

Lin Moyu shook his head. "I won't."

Chapter 118: Men and Women Working Together, the Work Isn't Tiring

Ning Yiyi's crisp, sweet laughter echoed throughout the Dungeon.

It dispelled a lot of the oppressive feeling of the Hell-grade Dungeon.

Lin Moyu didn't talk much, spending most of the time listening to Ning Yiyi speak.

Ning Yiyi seemed to have an endless stream of words, pouring out her grievances about her recent experiences like water.

These past few days, she had been sent out on missions.

Originally, she could have also run Dungeons in the Dungeon Hall to level up, which would have been very relaxed and comfortable.

But she was sent outside.

She went to a level 22 Dungeon called the [Ruined Dungeon].

She had to obtain two different items from the Dungeon to complete the mission.

One was obtained after soloing the Normal-grade Dungeon.

The other was obtained by teaming up with others to run the Nightmare-grade Dungeon.

"Even though they are both level 22 Dungeons, the level 22 Dungeons in the wild are much harder than the level 22 Dungeons in the academy."

"Soling that [Ruined Dungeon] made me want to cry, and I almost died several times."

"Later when I teamed up with people, what kind of people were in that party! Their gear was terribly trashy. They were already level 22, yet they were still using Black Iron gear, with only their weapons being Silver."

"When fighting the Nightmare-grade BOSS, they even wanted me, a level 20 Assassin, to go up and tank the monsters."

Listening to her pour out her grievances, Lin Moyu was secretly amused.

Dungeons in the wild were indeed slightly harder than same-level Dungeons in the Dungeon Hall, but actually not by much.

If one were to solo, even on Normal difficulty, there would still be danger.

Naturally, the gear and skills of people outside could not compare to those of the academy students.

With a mix of good and bad gear and skills, fighting was naturally very tough.

Aside from finding it amusing, Lin Moyu was also somewhat worried.

Ning Yiyi said, "But this young lady is amazing. The first stage of the mission was successfully completed by me, and I got the reward too."

As she spoke, she raised her fair, jade-like hand and waved it in front of Lin Moyu, her face full of petty pride.

On her finger was a ring set with a red gemstone.

The gem was as dazzling as fire.

Lin Moyu recognized at a glance that this gemstone was the Goblin King's crystal core.

Needless to say, Ning Yiyi's ring was naturally a BOSS accessory, the [Goblin King Ring].

It was claimed to be the best accessory below level 40.

The attributes the ring added weren't much—plus 10 to all attributes, which made little difference.

The key was that it increased all skills by 1 level, which was a very astonishing attribute.

For many classes, once their level reached the limit and their skills reached the limit.

At that point, being able to raise skill levels by a few more through gear would bring an earth-shattering change to their combat power.

"Beautiful, right?!" Ning Yiyi giggled.

Lin Moyu smiled. "Very beautiful."

Making BOSS accessories was not easy; even with the main material, many auxiliary materials were still needed.

At the same time, one also had to find an Alchemist who knew how to make this accessory.

Many people who obtained the main material by coincidence would spend half a year or even a year searching for the auxiliary materials and an Alchemist.

He hadn't expected Ning Yiyi to have the [Goblin King Ring] crafted so quickly, which indeed surprised Lin Moyu.

This showed that Ning Yiyi's family background was very extraordinary.

From this, it could also be guessed that the various missions Ning Yiyi went to do were actually her family nurturing her.

It was the same logic as Bai Yiyuan sending him here to do missions.

Thinking about it this way, everything became clear.

Lin Moyu felt a bit curious about whether the BOSS accessory's +1 to all skills would have an enhancement effect on his own passive and talent skills.

Unfortunately, he couldn't test it. BOSS accessories were quite special and bound to the soul.

Other than Ning Yiyi, no one else could use this ring.

If he wanted to test it, Lin Moyu could only find a way to get a BOSS accessory for himself to try.

Aside from BOSS accessories, it was said that some legendary-grade gear also had attributes that increased skill levels.

Lin Moyu asked, "Is the second stage of the mission to come here?"

Ning Yiyi hummed in agreement. "Yeah, the old man has really high requirements. He wants one Dragon Crystal Core, wants me to reach level 25, and also requires me to become at least a One-Star Private."

On Ning Yiyi's shoulder was also a Military Badge.

The badge was completely empty, with nothing on it.

Ning Yiyi stood on her tiptoes and saw the Military Badge on Lin Moyu's shoulder. "Ah, you're already two-star."

Lin Moyu nodded. "I killed some Abyssal Demon Dogs."

Ning Yiyi said in a low voice, "We also encountered a pack of Abyssal Demon Dogs on the way here."

"This mission is so annoying. Not only does it require materials and levels, but also a military rank."

"Can you carry me through the mission?"

Lin Moyu did not refuse. "Alright."

Men and women working together, the work isn't tiring.

Several hours passed in the blink of an eye, and they had already fought their way to the base of the fortress.

All the monsters outside the fortress had been completely cleared.

Next, Lin Moyu, familiar with the way, pulled the monsters inside the fortress out and quickly eliminated them.

The experience points of both of them were soaring.

By the time the mages and Archers on the fortress walls were completely cleared.

Lin Moyu's experience had already reached 40%.

Just then, the light of leveling up rose from Ning Yiyi's body.

"Ah, level 22! That's really fast." Ning Yiyi's beautiful eyes sparkled, and her smiling face was as bright as a flower.

"It was just like this last time on Mermaid Island."

"Running Dungeons with you is great; leveling up is so easy."

"When I party up with others to run Dungeons, it's so exhausting and also dangerous."

Ning Yiyi had already become clingy to Lin Moyu.

It should be said that she had been clingy ever since their very first meeting.

Entering the fortress, the skeletons surrounded Lin Moyu and Ning Yiyi.

"There are stealth monsters inside."

Lin Moyu said softly.

Ning Yiyi gave a soft cry, her already beautiful eyes flashing with bright light.

Then she pointed in a direction. "Over there, in the corner."

Following the direction she pointed, the Skeleton Mages threw their area-of-effect skills over.

All at once, the Dragon Assassin's stealth state was broken.

Without their stealth ability, Dragon Assassins were just weaklings.

With weak constitution attributes, they were easily slain.

Ning Yiyi giggled. "My skill can see through stealth."
