Chapter 13: Hell Arena (III)

A scorching wave of Qi swept out, and dust rose into the air, yet Lin Fan's figure vanished like a phantom.

The audience held their breath, their eyes fixed intently on the center of the arena, trying to see Lin Fan's movements clearly.

Lin Fan counterattacked.

The next second, Lin Fan's figure suddenly appeared on Blood Hammer's flank, his movements as fast as lightning.

He lightly raised his foot and kicked at the knee joint on one side of Blood Hammer.

"Crack!" A crisp sound rang out, and Blood Hammer stumbled, his entire body instantly losing its balance as his huge, heavy frame crashed to the ground.

The entire arena was in an uproar.

"He actually kicked and broke Blood Hammer's joint?!"

"This strength cannot possibly belong to an ordinary human!"

The shouts from the spectator stands rose wave after wave; the gamblers who had bet on Lin Fan were excitedly slapping their tables, while those who had originally bet on Blood Hammer were filled with disbelief.

High on the platform, Nightingale narrowed her eyes slightly, picked up the wine glass in her hand, and took a gentle sip.

Her cold, beautiful red lips curled slightly, and her voice was lazy and low: "It seems our little bug is a venomous snake…"

Blood Hammer roared as he propped up his body, his hammer-arm slamming into the ground to leverage himself to a standing position.

His eyes were scarlet with rage, his internal modification System was fully activated, and gusts of steam rose from his mechanical body.

"You have completely angered me!"

Blood Hammer roared, swinging both hammers out simultaneously with a shriek that tore through the air as he swept toward Lin Fan.

Lin Fan was unmoved, his gaze remaining calm; he tilted his body slightly, dodging the attack of the two hammers with clean and swift movements.

At the same time, he reached back and grabbed a fragment that had flown up after the ground was shattered, concentrating all his Body Cultivator strength as he threw it toward Blood Hammer's chest.

"Bang!"

The fragment accurately struck the energy core region of Blood Hammer's chest, sending sparks flying everywhere.

His movements suddenly stalled, and his body swayed slightly; he had clearly suffered heavy damage.

Lin Fan walked slowly toward Blood Hammer, with the cheering audience behind him like a tide.

He looked down at Blood Hammer, who was kneeling on the ground, and said in a cold voice:

"Remember next time, no matter how strong mechanical power is, it will never be able to defeat a true powerhouse."

The gamblers in the stands were completely boiling over, and the cheers resounded throughout the Hell Arena.

Many people shouted Lin Fan's name, while those who had bet on his victory waved their arms excitedly, celebrating the fact that they had made a fortune.

Nightingale curled her lips slightly, watching Lin Fan in the center of the arena, her eyes revealing deep interest: "This man… is a bit interesting."

Lin Fan did not immerse himself in the victory; he looked up at Nightingale on the high platform, smiled slightly, and already had his next plan in mind.

He knew that this battle was only the beginning of his entry into the Hell Arena, and the real battles were still to come.

Blood Hammer was panting in pain on the ground; although his mechanical body was formidable, under Lin Fan's precise strike, it still failed to withstand that suffocating power.

His eyes were filled with anger and unwillingness, but now, he could no longer stand up.

"You won."

Blood Hammer roared in a low voice, his tone filled with endless humiliation, "But you are just an ordinary human; relying on technique and speed, I am not convinced!"

Lin Fan sneered, looking at the fallen Blood Hammer.

"The mechanical body you are so proud of is just something I've already moved past."

He turned and walked toward the spectator stands, his gaze cold and his steps firm, as if every step was stomping on Blood Hammer's heart, mercilessly.

Nightingale on the high platform leaned gently against the railing, a faint, ambiguous smile on her lips.

She looked at Lin Fan, a glimmer of interest flashing in her eyes: "So your name is Lin Fan, just a forklift driver. Interesting, I want to see exactly how much capability you have."

With Lin Fan's victory, the atmosphere in the arena became explosive.

Those who originally did not favor him began to adjust their betting direction, and more and more gamblers began to bet that Lin Fan would win the next battle.

Especially those who had bet on Lin Fan to win had smug expressions on their faces, while the gamblers who had lost their bets looked at each other with gloomy faces.

"Next battle, Lin Fan, prepare to face your real opponent."

Nightingale's voice echoed over the arena, and she then pointed to the entrance in the distance.

Following her finger, the heavy metal door slowly opened.

Walking out from behind the door was a giant nearly two meters tall, his body as broad as a mountain, wrapped in heavy battle armor, with only his exposed eyes flashing with sharp light.

His right arm was equipped with a huge laser blade, the edge shining with a cold light.

"'Iron Giant' Carl; he has been fighting in this arena for many years, defeating countless opponents, and can be called an undefeated legend."

Nightingale's voice was clearly conveyed to all the spectators through the amplification System.

Carl's gaze was cold as he scanned Lin Fan, the corners of his mouth slightly upturned in a sneer:

"A 'human' without prosthetics, and you dare to challenge me?"

Lin Fan's gaze was sharp as he calmly watched the Iron Giant before him.

He knew that the next battle would be more difficult than any previous one.

But he did not have a shred of fear, because he had never relied on prosthetics or machinery, but rather on his own true power and wisdom.

"Iron Giant, don't say I didn't warn you; I never look at the weak."

Lin Fan sneered coldly, his eyes full of disdain.

The atmosphere in the arena instantly became tense, the audience's eyes focused on the two warriors about to duel, looking forward to the earth-shattering confrontation that was about to happen.

Nightingale raised her hand slightly, signaling for the two to prepare.

Following her command, Lin Fan and Carl moved almost simultaneously.

Carl's laser blade tore through the air like a wild beast, slashing toward Lin Fan with a deafening sonic boom.

Lin Fan tilted his body slightly, dodging like lightning, while simultaneously kicking toward Carl's abdomen.

Utilizing the split second Carl lost his balance, Lin Fan leaped up quickly, his feet stomping hard onto Carl's shoulders, his body instantly soaring into the air.

His lithe figure seemed to form a sharp contrast with the Iron Giant's clumsiness.

Lin Fan flipped in the air, his fists carrying a powerful current of air as he smashed them hard toward Carl's mask.

Carl's mask made a crisp sound due to Lin Fan's attack.

Immediately after, he roared, his power surging, and the laser blade in his hand swung again.

The blade slashed through the air like lightning, rushing toward Lin Fan with an aura of destruction.

Lin Fan leaped away lightly, his toes tapping the ground, instantly changing direction.

His movement technique was as swift as a phantom, truly unrivaled.

At this moment, the rhythm of the battle was completely under Lin Fan's control.

Every time he dodged Carl's attack, he would seize the opportunity to find a counterattack, constantly draining Carl's stamina and patience.

In the spectator stands, the audience who had originally favored Carl began to fall silent, and some even showed expressions of surprise.
