Chapter 1395: Peak of the Cloud Sea, Three, Three, and Three Again

Below, the sea of mist roared, columns of mist shot into the sky, and killing intent permeated the heavens and earth. In this area, the forty-three platforms that Cultivators could step onto each had a Cultivator standing on them.

Those who could occupy a platform alone in the first wave, with the exception of a few extremely lucky Cultivators, were mostly individuals with profound cultivation and ruthless methods.

There were even five or six individuals who were exceptionally cunning. Although they hadn't seen through the anomaly of this place in advance, their cautious nature led them to eliminate all Cultivators who competed with them for platforms to prevent any danger.

Now that the situation was clear, knowing that only by standing alone on a platform could they survive, the hundreds of Cultivators who had no platform to go to had all turned red-eyed. To survive, even blood brothers seemed ready to fight to the death.

Suddenly, these hundreds of Cultivators frantically rushed towards the forty-three platforms!

In the chaos, Wang Lin had no time to check which Cultivators occupied the other forty-two platforms. As he formed Hand Seals with both hands, Qi waves enveloped him, forming a Qi barrier that blocked the more than ten people charging towards him.

Among these ten-odd Cultivators, the one with the highest cultivation was an old man who had reached the Fourth Heavenly Decay, while the cultivation of the other Cultivators varied, but the weakest seemed to be in the Late Stage of Nirvana Cleansing.

Although these people's cultivation was not top-tier, in this life-or-death crisis, they unleashed their full potential. Coupled with their considerable numbers, they charged from all directions towards Wang Lin's platform.

With a thunderous roar, the Divine Abilities of these ten-odd Cultivators landed on the Qi barrier Wang Lin had spread. The Qi barrier vibrated, instantly distorting, and the ten-odd Cultivators frantically unleashed every available technique, even taking out Magic Treasures!

Everything was a race against time!

A murderous glint flashed in Wang Lin's eyes. With a cold snort, he formed a Hand Seal with his right hand and swept it outwards, transforming it into a giant palm print that revolved around him, forming a massive Vortex when viewed from afar.

The earth-shattering roars echoed as the palm print swept through, immediately forcing most of the ten-odd Cultivators, who were continuously unleashing Divine Abilities and trying to rush onto the platform, to be swept back by the strong winds formed by the palm print, their bodies tumbling backward.

The sea of mist roared, and numerous mist columns shot into the sky. Dozens of Cultivators, including some outside Wang Lin's platform and those trying to seize other platforms, immediately perished under the mist columns amidst their shrill screams.

The scent of blood permeated the air, and the echoes of screams still lingered, making the hundreds of Cultivators without platform protection even more frantic. Their low growls and roars shook the heavens as they madly rushed onto the various platforms.

At Wang Lin's location, after some of the ten-odd Cultivators died, nine remained. Their eyes red, they rushed forward, various Magic Treasures flashing around them, combined with a series of Divine Abilities, launching a fierce assault.

A cold light filled Wang Lin's eyes. With a cold snort, he took a step forward, instantly appearing before a middle-aged Cultivator. The middle-aged Cultivator's expression was sinister. The moment Wang Lin appeared, a faint glowing small sword flew out of his mouth, heading straight for Wang Lin.

This middle-aged Cultivator seemed to be in the First Heavenly Decay. The moment the faint glowing small sword flashed out, Wang Lin's right hand's two fingers were even faster than the Flying Sword, directly pointing at the center of this person's brows.

Primordial power frantically surged into this person's body. With a bang, the middle-aged Cultivator's Physical Body collapsed, and his Primordial Spirit perished. However, it did not dissipate but transformed into a cloud of blood mist, all of which was absorbed by Wang Lin.

All of this happened in a flash. After killing the man, Wang Lin stepped to the side, easily dodging the oncoming faint glowing Flying Sword. In one step, he appeared behind a white-haired old man.

He didn't pause. He raised his left hand and casually slapped it. With a bang, it landed on the old man's back. The old man was about to turn around but trembled, collapsing into blood mist, which was absorbed by Wang Lin's left hand.

Wang Lin licked his lips, his body flickered, and he reappeared beside another young Cultivator. The young man's face was pale, and without hesitation, he hastily retreated. Forming Hand Seals, he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood. The blood transformed into a giant blood-red skull in mid-air, rushing towards Wang Lin with a silent roar, trying to devour him.

Instead of dodging, Wang Lin rushed straight towards the young Cultivator. As the blood-red skull was about to devour him, a strange light appeared in Wang Lin's eyes, and he let out a fierce roar!

Despite the roaring mist all around and the intense sounds of countless Cultivators fighting, Wang Lin's roar seemed to completely suppress all other sounds, replacing everything and shaking the heavens and earth!

The blood-red skull violently trembled, and in this roar, it seemed to be swept away by an irresistible gale, instantly dissipating with a shrill sound. The gale blew directly towards the retreating young Cultivator. He had no way to dodge and was swept over in an instant. His body, as if made of dust, turned into a wisp of blood smoke in the wind, vanishing into thin air.

Clean and decisive, three people killed in a row!

But the slaughter did not stop. Although the remaining six witnessed all of this, retreating now meant death. They had to fight for it. Gritting their teeth, they all took advantage of Wang Lin leaving the platform and being suspended in the air, rushing onto the platform.

"Seeking death!" Wang Lin's voice was cold. If these six had just left, he wouldn't have pursued them to their deaths, but now that they were stubbornly misguided, Wang Lin stepped forward, raised his right hand, and pointed three times. In an instant, Sword Qi surged into the sky. From Wang Lin's right fingertips, thousands of Sword Qi roared out, splitting into three parts, heading straight for the three fastest individuals.

Among the three, two men and one woman, the Sword Qi was too fast, instantly approaching. One of the middle-aged men, in his moment of crisis, had a sinister expression. He bent his body, performing an extremely strange movement, his hands hanging down as if grasping the Void Realm. The moment the Sword Qi arrived, he roared and suddenly flung his hands upwards.

Amidst the roar, a purple light curtain appeared out of thin air, lifted by the middle-aged Cultivator's hands, transforming into a massive light curtain to block the incoming Sword Qi.

Under the booming sounds, the middle-aged man spat out fresh blood, his body tumbling backward. The light curtain in front of him collapsed, and the Sword Qi rapidly approached, entering his body, causing him to tremble and then collapse.

And that middle-aged woman, her face also pale, tried to dodge. Although her cultivation was not high, her speed was extremely fast, otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to get close before others.

Now, dodging frantically, she narrowly moved half her body away at the instant the Sword Qi arrived. With a roar, her right shoulder disintegrated into minced flesh. Amidst her screams, she avoided death.

The Sword Qi grazed past her and landed on a sinister-looking Cultivator behind her. This Cultivator immediately died.

Among the three, one died and one was injured. The last one was the old man in the Fourth Heavenly Decay. This old man formed Hand Seals, and nine black Dragons immediately enveloped his entire body. The Dragons roared and circled rapidly outside his body. Amidst the banging sounds, as the Sword Qi continuously struck, the old man's body frantically retreated. As he retreated, he raised his right hand and grabbed a Cultivator beside him, pulling him forward to block in front of himself.

All of the Sword Qi entered the body of the seized Cultivator, tearing his Physical Body to shreds.

In the blink of an eye, after Wang Lin killed three people, he killed three more. Now, in mid-air above the platform, only the last three remained! Wang Lin's white robes were unsullied by bloodstains. In one step, he landed back on the platform where he had stood before, his gaze like lightning, sweeping over the three, and he coldly said, "Scram!"

The female Cultivator who had lost her right arm was pale. Although death was terrifying, here and now, she felt a fear more intense than death itself. In her eyes, the white-robed, white-haired Cultivator was like an unconquerable mountain!

She didn't want to die, so she had to retreat and fight for other platforms!

The old man in the Fourth Heavenly Decay also had a bloodless face and turned to retreat without hesitation. The last remaining person, whose cultivation was the weakest and speed not fast, had thus avoided Wang Lin's killing tribulation. At this moment, with his Soul Flying Away and Spirit Scattering, he hastily retreated.

A roar suddenly erupted. A platform in the distance was enveloped by a thousand-zhang mist, causing the six Cultivators who had stepped onto it simultaneously to all perish.

It didn't end there. The thousand-zhang mist appeared again beneath another platform, destroying it.

In a short period, only twenty-eight of the forty-three platforms remained, and the hundreds of Cultivators without a place to stay had drastically decreased in number, leaving fewer than eighty.

Wang Lin stood on the platform, watching coldly. No Cultivator dared to approach him; the previous scenes of slaughter were enough to shock their hearts.

As Wang Lin's gaze swept around, he saw the young woman of the Fen Mie Clan. This woman occupied a platform, sitting cross-legged with light flashing between her brows. A soft light enveloped her platform, and no matter how the surrounding Cultivators attacked, it only twisted and swayed but did not collapse.

Besides this young woman, five other people also caught Wang Lin's attention.

The first was naturally the woman in white with hair reaching her hips. This woman simply stood there silently, gazing at the distant horizon. Any Cultivator who approached her platform would let out shrill screams before even stepping onto it, their eyes weeping black blood, their entire bodies emitting black Qi, as if poisoned.

Another was a middle-aged Cultivator. This person wore coarse clothes, holding a pot of wine in his left hand and a seven-foot-long sword in his right.

"As the ancient saying goes… Three cups to pledge a promise, five peaks are light as air…" The middle-aged Cultivator took a sip of wine, then casually swung his long sword with his right hand. Without any visible movement from him, the tip of his sword pierced through the brow of a charging Cultivator. As he withdrew the sword, fresh blood spurted from the dead Cultivator's brow, landing on the platform in the shape of a plum blossom.

On that platform, more than ten blood-red plum blossoms were indeed blooming!

There was also a purple-robed man. This person had a gloomy expression, exuding Yin Qi. As he flung his large sleeve, a thousand-zhang ferocious fish swam behind him, devouring all approaching Cultivators with a foul wind, swallowing them whole.

The last two individuals: one was as thin as a pole, extremely tall, dressed in black, with eyes always closed. His speed was so fast that even Wang Lin could barely see him clearly. As he flickered, afterimages seemed to remain in place, but the Cultivators around him screamed and died one by one. Each deceased person had their Primordial Spirit extracted, and their Physical Body fell into the sea of mist below.
