Chapter 145: Master Lu

Hall Master Yan Leizi, relying on the ultimate Magic Treasure he obtained from refining the Thunder Immortal Realm, forcefully withstood the impact. Although his face looked slightly pale, he was not injured.

At that exact moment, Chu Yuan frowned.

He perceived that Wang Lin's aura had vanished, likely having been sent away by Luo Chen.

Chu Yuan pulled back his thoughts and stopped dwelling on it.

Hall Master Yan Leizi continued his attack. Forty-nine Immortal Realm Fragments flew out from his sleeve, forming an array that pressed down frantically toward the Moon-Gazing Beast.

Atop the fragments, thunderous light flowed and runes flickered, emitting a suffocating, terrifying pressure.

He wanted to take advantage of the moment the Moon-Gazing Beast was suffering from the backlash of the Ancient God's finger to completely Seal it.

The Moon-Gazing Beast roared, continuing its frantic headbutting.

Just as the two sides were locked in a stalemate, a sudden change occurred.

The Moon-Gazing Beast suddenly froze. In its crimson eyes, the anger and madness abruptly vanished, replaced by a bone-deep dread.

It was as if something that made it feel dread from the depths of its Soul was approaching.

Everyone followed its gaze and looked over.

That patch of the Void Realm had been completely empty, but now it suddenly distorted as a figure stepped out from within.

The person's figure was illusory, their face obscured, and even their aura was difficult to perceive.

He just stood quietly in the Void Realm, making no movement and saying no words, yet he caused all the Sui Nie Realm experts present to feel a sudden pang of dread.

"It's him!"

The Blood God's pupils contracted sharply.

Chu Yuan's gaze also fell upon that illusory figure, and his heart skipped a beat. Master Lu!

The true ultimate powerhouse of the Luo Tian Star Domain, a Third Step existence—Hall Master Yan Leizi had ultimately invited him out after all.

Now that such a figure had emerged, no matter how strong the Moon-Gazing Beast was, its only destiny was to be sealed.

The gap between the Third Step and the Second Step was not something that could be bridged by numbers.

A Peak Sui Nie Realm Cultivator was no different from an ant before him.

Sure enough, the illusory figure slowly raised his hand, his movements unhurried, and gently tapped his finger in the Void Realm.

The space around the Moon-Gazing Beast suddenly shuddered.

There were no earth-shattering anomalies, nor any deafening rumbles.

Yet the Moon-Gazing Beast, which had just been so overbearing and had left six Sui Nie Realm experts completely helpless, was actually completely bound at this moment.

Its body froze in the Void Realm, its eyes wide and its mouth agape, maintaining its roaring posture but unable to make any sound.

The black flames solidified in its mouth like an ice sculpture.

"Roar—!"

The Moon-Gazing Beast struggled frantically, its body trembling violently as it tried to break free from that invisible restraint.

Yet no matter how hard it tried, it could not budge even a fraction of an inch.

That binding power was like the will of heaven and earth, irresistible and unyielding.

Hall Master Yan Leizi, Xiang Tian, Gongsun Ju, Lie Yunzi, and the Blood God all cupped their hands toward the illusory figure, their tones respectful. "Thank you for your assistance, Senior."

Chu Yuan also cupped his hands in salute.

He was completely unacquainted and had no relationship with Master Lu, but this person was the universally acknowledged strongest expert of the Luo Tian Star Domain, a Third Step existence, so the proper etiquette could not be lacking.

The illusory figure nodded slightly, his gaze lingering on Chu Yuan for a brief moment before moving away.

"Yan Leizi, I leave the rest to you."

"Yes, please rest assured, Senior."

Hall Master Yan Leizi said, bowing.

The illusory figure spoke no further. His form gradually faded, as if merging into the Void Realm, and vanished in an instant.

Everyone straightened up. The Blood God let out a cold snort, raising a hand to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth. His gaze swept over Hall Master Yan Leizi, his tone carrying a hint of displeasure. "I didn't expect you to actually invite this Senior out. Had I known, why would we have gone through all this trouble?"

Hall Master Yan Leizi smiled, not getting angry. "Senior Master Lu rarely takes action. Unless absolutely necessary, I would not wish to disturb him either. That Moon Beast just now was truly extraordinary. If we hadn't asked Senior to step in, even if we had won, we would have surely suffered heavy losses."

Xiang Tian nodded and sighed, "Very well, we have at least subdued this beast. How shall we handle it next?"

Hall Master Yan Leizi's gaze fell upon the bound Moon-Gazing Beast, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes as the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.

"This beast is the grand gift we shall present to the Alliance Star Domain."

He turned to look at Chu Yuan, cupping his hands. "Fellow Daoist Chu, please wait a moment."

Chu Yuan nodded slightly. Hall Master Yan Leizi raised his hands to form a hand Seal, and the forty-nine Immortal Realm Fragments spun and flew back, completely surrounding the Moon-Gazing Beast.

Thunderous light interwoven and Restrictions flowed as layer upon layer of Restrictions were stacked upon the bound giant beast, sealing it off completely.

The Moon-Gazing Beast stared deathly at everyone with its crimson eyes, emitting low growls from its mouth, but it could no longer stir up even the slightest wave.

Only after completing all of this did Hall Master Yan Leizi breathe a sigh of relief. Turning to face Chu Yuan, he smiled and said, "Fellow Daoist, this matter is resolved. I wonder if you have some free time?"

Chu Yuan pondered slightly, then nodded. "Since Fellow Daoist Yan Leizi has invited me, I naturally won't refuse."

"Hahahahaha!"

Hall Master Yan Leizi laughed heartily, stretching out his hand in a gesture of invitation.

"Last time, I missed the chance to invite you to my Thunder Immortal Hall. This time, I certainly cannot miss it. After you, Fellow Daoist."

"After you."

The other several Sui Nie Realm powerhouses also stood up one after another, glancing at each other and nodding.

Xiang Tian cupped his hands, Gongsun Ju nodded slightly, Lie Yunzi's expression was calm, and though the Blood God was displeased, he did not say anything more.

With a shift of their bodies, everyone merged into the world, speeding off in the direction of the Thunder Immortal Hall.

Before long, under Hall Master Yan Leizi's guidance, a continuous stretch of buildings emerged in the Void Realm ahead.

It was a massive palace floating in the starry sky, its entire body a greenish-white, its roof covered with golden glazed tiles that shimmered brilliantly under the starlight.

Nine sky-propping giant pillars stood around the palace, their shafts densely carved with runes, emitting an ancient and vast aura.

Atop each pillar crouched a thunder beast, their eyes tightly closed as if in deep slumber.

Hanging above the main entrance was a massive plaque with the three characters "Thunder Immortal Hall" written on it in a sharp, world-disdaining hand.

Everyone stepped out of the Void Realm, landing on the plaza in front of the hall.

The ground was paved with high-grade spiritual jade, smooth as a mirror and capable of reflecting a person's image.

Thunderous light flowed all around, illuminating the entire plaza as bright as day.

The Cultivators standing with lowered hands on both sides bowed in unison upon seeing everyone's arrival.

Hall Master Yan Leizi walked with large strides, leading everyone across the plaza and into the grand hall.

Inside the hall, the domed ceiling hung high, with carved beams and painted rafters, and the four walls were embedded with countless Night-Luminescent Pearls that emitted a soft glow.

In the center of the hall sat a massive round table, its surface carved with a complete Luo Tian Star Map, dotted with stars and crisscrossed by stellar paths.

Surrounding the round table were over ten stone chairs, their backs carved with different patterns representing the symbols of the various major powers in the Luo Tian Star Domain.

Clearly, Hall Master Yan Leizi had prepared well in advance.

Hall Master Yan Leizi took his seat at the head of the table and gestured for everyone to be seated.

Xiang Tian, Gongsun Ju, Lie Yunzi, and the Blood God each took their seats, and Chu Yuan also sat at the very end.

His identity was unique; he belonged to no faction within the Luo Tian Star Domain, nor was he Hall Master Yan Leizi's subordinate. Sitting here was already the highest courtesy.
