Chapter 156: Are You All Dogs Raised By Him?

"Uh… Master Ou Yezi, what does the term little Japanese devils mean?"

Zhou Huai manipulated Ou Yezi to wave his hand.

"It doesn't mean much."

He then picked up his juice, took a sip, and changed the subject, saying,

"Why is this guy named Murayama so popular here?"

Tian Guang leaned in a bit closer and whispered in reply.

"You might not know this, Great Master."

"This Nakamura Shinichiro is the Personal Disciple of Omiya Haruto, the legendary Divine Craftsman of Sakura Country."

"He has been exchanging and learning in our Great Xia Country's Forging Guild recently."

"Many forgers here have interacted with Mr. Murayama and deeply admire his forging attainments."

Zhou Huai nodded in understanding.

His gaze once again turned to the crowded center in the distance, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes.

"Is it really necessary to fawn over him like that?"

"Every single one of you has lost even a forger's backbone?"

Tian Guang gave a bitter smile.

"You are mistaken, Great Master."

"You have stayed in Donghai City all year round, so you might not understand the situation outside."

"Over the past few decades, our Great Xia Country's forging world has grown worse with each generation, long failing to recapture the glory of Elder Mo back then."

"Nowadays, the entire Great Xia Country doesn't even have a single Grandmaster who can stably forge legendary-tier equipment."

"On the other hand, looking at Sakura Country, leaving aside Omiya Haruto, there are at least three Great Masters who can touch the threshold of legends."

"For combat-class occupations, the strong are supreme."

"How is it any different for our lifestyle-class occupations?"

"When your skills are inferior to others, your spine naturally cannot stand straight."

Hearing this, Zhou Huai did not speak.

He simply drank the juice in his cup in one gulp.

Right at that moment.

That moon-surrounded Nakamura Shinichiro smilingly pushed aside the crowd in front of him and walked straight toward another corner of the banquet hall.

Everyone followed his gaze, their Faces successively revealing expressions of watching a good show.

Over there, Mo Yuwei was holding a glass of red wine, chatting with several similarly young female forgers.

Today, she had taken off that easy-to-move-in black combat uniform.

Changing into a wine-red off-the-shoulder evening gown.

The long dress clung closely to her exquisite curves, perfectly displaying her voluptuous figure.

Her fair skin seemed to emit a soft halo under the lights.

Her neat short hair had been meticulously styled, losing a bit of its usual sharpness and overbearing arrogance, and gaining a touch of feminine gentleness and grace.

She evidently also noticed Nakamura Shinichiro walking toward her.

Her pretty brows furrowed imperceptibly.

Nakamura Shinichiro walked up to her, wearing what he thought was a perfect gentlemanly smile, and slightly bowed.

"You must be Chairman Mo's granddaughter, Young Miss Mo Yuwei, right?"

His Chinese sounded a bit stiff, but carried a deliberately cultivated magnetism.

"I have long heard that Young Miss Mo is breathtakingly beautiful. Seeing you today, it truly lives up to the reputation."

Mo Yuwei gave him a cold glance, clearly uninterested in this kind of pickup line.

"Something the matter?"

Nakamura Shinichiro didn't seem to expect such a cold response, and the smile on his Face stagnated slightly.

But he quickly adjusted himself and raised the wine glass in his hand.

"Nothing much, just wanted to toast the beautiful Young Miss."

"I wonder if Young Miss Mo would grant me the honor?"

In Mo Yuwei's eyes, there was already a trace of undisguised disgust.

"I said, state your business directly."

"I hate people beating around the bush."

The smile on Nakamura Shinichiro's Face finally couldn't hold up anymore.

He took a step forward, leaning his body slightly forward, and a wave of alcohol fumes hit her Face.

"Young Miss Mo, I just want to get to know you purely."

"Aren't you being too impolite by keeping people at a distance like this?"

The wine glass in his hand got closer and closer to Mo Yuwei.

The surrounding forgers who were watching the show had already begun whispering.

"Isn't this Mo Yuwei putting on too much airs?"

"Exactly, what kind of status does Master Nakamura have? He took the initiative to toast her, and she actually refuses to give him Face."

Listening to the surrounding discussions, Mo Yuwei's expression grew even colder.

She finally lost her patience.

"Get your dirty hands away."

She raised her hand and shoved away the wine glass handed over by Nakamura Shinichiro.

"Clatter—"

The crimson wine liquid drew an arc in the air.

It splashed entirely onto Nakamura Shinichiro's expensive white robe, leaving a large, dazzling stain.

The air instantly fell silent.

Everyone was stunned by this sudden scene.

Nakamura Shinichiro lowered his head to look at the wine stains on his chest, the smile on his Face completely disappearing, replaced by deep gloom.

"Young Miss Mo, what do you mean by this?"

His voice was as cold as ice.

Before Mo Yuwei could speak, the surrounding crowd erupted into a commotion.

A chubby forger rushed up first, anxiously pulling out a handkerchief, wanting to wipe it for Nakamura Shinichiro.

"Master Nakamura! Are you alright?"

"Oh dear, what should we do, such a nice set of clothes…"

He turned his head and glared fiercely at Mo Yuwei.

"Mo Yuwei! You are going too far!"

"Master Nakamura kindly offered you a toast, yet you actually went ahead and knocked over his glass!"

"Do you have any upbringing at all?!"

Immediately, someone chimed in.

"Exactly! Master Nakamura is a guest who came from afar! Is this how you treat a guest?"

"I reckon she's just been spoiled rotten by Chairman Mo on usual days and is used to being arrogant and despotic!"

"Quick! Apologize to Master Nakamura!"

"Right! Apologize!"

Accusation after accusation, like sharp daggers, pierced toward Mo Yuwei.

She felt it was inexplicable, crossing her arms in front of her chest, trembling all over with anger.

"On what grounds should I apologize?"

"Clearly he was the one who harassed me first!"

A man wearing glasses sneered.

"Harass you? Young Miss Mo, you flatter yourself too much."

"Master Nakamura merely wanted to have a drink with you, how did that become harassment?"

"I see you just don't know what's good for you! Refusing a toast when offered courtesy!"

"By doing this, you are simply losing Face for our Great Xia Country's forgers and smearing Chairman Mo's reputation!"

Nakamura Shinichiro looked at Mo Yuwei, who was besieged by the crowd, a flash of smugness darting through the depths of his eyes.

He raised his hand, pressed it down, and put on a magnanimous appearance.

"Forget it, forget it."

"Everyone, don't blame Young Miss Mo. Perhaps I was being too abrupt."

"It's just a piece of clothing, it doesn't matter."

These words of his further cemented Mo Yuwei's "making a fuss over nothing."

Mo Yuwei was usually a bit harsh and willful, but after all, she was just a young girl.

Seeing so many people criticizing her, her eye sockets suddenly turned red.

Crystal-clear tears spun around inside, stubbornly refusing to fall.

She felt she had suffered a grievance of monstrous proportions.

She couldn't figure out why this group of people wanted to help an outsider bully her.

Seeing this, Tian Guang in the distance let out a long sigh, his Face full of helplessness.

He was just about to step forward to smooth things over and suppress this matter.

But his shoulder was gently pressed down by a hand.

Tian Guang turned back and met a pair of calm eyes.

He saw that Ou Yezi had stood up at some unknown time.

The next second.

Ou Yezi took strides, unhurriedly walking through the crowd and arriving by Mo Yuwei's side.

He didn't even glance at Nakamura Shinichiro, merely sweeping his gaze across that group of righteous "compatriots".

Then, in a tone so bland it carried no emotion at all, he spoke.

"I say, you few."

"Are your eyes all blind?"

The noisy banquet hall instantly fell quiet.

Everyone was stunned, looking incomprehendingly at this young man who had suddenly popped out.

The fat man who had accused Mo Yuwei first frowned.

"Who the hell are you? Is there any room for you to speak here?"

Zhou Huai ignored him.

He just continued calmly,

"Clearly it's this grandson from Sakura Country who harassed Young Miss in full view of the public."

"Not only did you lot not stop him, but instead you helped speak on his behalf."

"And now, you're actually forcing Young Miss to apologize to him?"

His voice wasn't loud, but it was like slap after slap, striking everyone's Faces.

"Grandson?"

Nakamura Shinichiro's expression instantly turned ashen.

He stared fixedly at Zhou Huai, his eyes gloomy.

Zhou Huai still didn't look at him.

He only looked at those forgers whose Faces were flushed and who dared to be angry but didn't dare speak, the corners of his mouth curving into a mock.

"I'd like to ask you all."

"You people."

"Are you all dogs raised by him?"
