Chapter 159

Vitality greatly enhanced, defense greatly enhanced—it looked quite impressive, but in the end, it only let it survive for a few more minutes.

When it turned into the last wisp of black smoke, it completely dissipated.

There was no longer a speck of darkness in the entire Dungeon; it was completely ruled by light.

[Killed Level 36 Elemental Leopard King, Experience +2,160,000]

[Obtained Elemental Staff]

[Elemental Staff: Gold-grade equipment, Spirit +600, Constitution +400, Mage-class skill amplification +22%]

The experience was decent, but the loot was a bit too poor.

Just an Elemental Staff, and its attributes weren't even as good as the Hell Outpost Staff.

This didn't look like the drops a Hell-difficulty Dungeon should have at all.

Aside from being a damage sponge, there wasn't much difficulty.

The Dungeon exit appeared in front of Lin Moyu.

"Is it over just like that?"

Lin Moyu felt something wasn't right; he felt like something was missing.

Ning Yiyi ran over quickly and pointed toward the direction of the Human World within the Dungeon. "There's something happening over there."

In the Human World of the Dungeon, the light was brilliant.

A mage appeared in mid-air.

He was surrounded by elements and held a staff.

He wasn't a real person but was condensed from energy, just like the Elemental Leopard King.

Only his aura was even more powerful than the elemental leopard's.

When Lin Moyu looked at it, it actually looked down at him as well.

Their eyes met.

Suddenly, an old and majestic voice rang out, "Come to me."

Lin Moyu was startled, a chilling sensation creeping up his spine for a moment.

Looking at Ning Yiyi, she seemed to have heard nothing.

This voice had resonated directly in his mind.

Intuition told him that he had to go.

"Yiyi, wait for me here."

Ning Yiyi knew what Lin Moyu was going to do.

"Be careful!"

Leading his skeletons with him, Lin Moyu walked toward the Human World.

This Dungeon was a battlefield where the forces of Abyssal Demons and Human World professionals constantly clashed.

Lin Moyu's arrival had eliminated the abyssal energy; this energy didn't vanish into thin air but instead all converged into the Human World.

The human area in the Dungeon became even stronger.

The exit had appeared, but the Dungeon hadn't truly ended.

Lin Moyu felt that previous teams who came to clear the Dungeon probably exited after defeating the Elemental Leopard King.

It was also possible they exited after clearing the human area and never visited the world at the other end.

In the buffer zone between the two, there were some Elemental Spirits.

The skeleton army swarmed forward, quickly clearing them out.

Then, the army drove straight in, stepping into the 'human' territory.

Before, it was a darkness so deep you couldn't see your hand in front of your face, but here, it was a brightness so intense you couldn't open your eyes.

Extreme darkness followed by extreme brightness.

They were two complete extremes.

Here, Lin Moyu squinted, barely able to see anything.

Fortunately, the Skeleton Warriors were completely unaffected.

Humanoid monsters appeared in his line of sight.

They were pale blue all over and looked extremely strange.

They were twisted and contorted, with odd postures, some even folded over themselves.

Looking at them gave off an indescribable feeling of discomfort.

There were rotten holes on their faces and bodies, with blue liquid flowing inside like blood.

These weren't humans at all; they were humanoid monsters.

[Mage Soul (Hell-Enhanced Elite Monster)]

[Level: 35]

[Strength: 10,000]

[Agility: 10,000]

[Spirit: 20,000]

[Constitution: 20,000]

[Skills: Ring of Fire, Meteor Fall, Mana Shield]

[Traits: Physical damage halved, Elemental damage halved]

Their attributes were very strong.

After he eliminated the power of darkness, all the energy had concentrated here.

It buffed the humanoid monsters here.

They changed from elite monsters to Hell-enhanced elite monsters, and they were the mage-type monsters Lin Moyu disliked most.

Ring of Fire could knock back all the skeletons.

Mana Shield could protect them.

Combined with the dual physical and elemental damage reduction, their survivability became very high, making them extremely troublesome to eliminate.

If not for that voice, perhaps he would have chosen to leave as well.

He could win, but he couldn't be bothered to fight.

He couldn't use Corpse Explosion, so fighting was tedious and the efficiency was too low.

But now…

Since he was here, he might as well fight.

The Skeleton Warriors had already charged forward.

The Skeleton Mages' spells flew out with a crackle.

With a flash of blue light, a Mana Shield appeared in front of the humanoid mage.

It blocked the Skeleton Mages' attacks.

Then, a Ring of Fire burst out, and the Skeleton Warriors at the very front were instantly knocked back.

The special effect of the Ring of Fire skill was knockback, ignoring levels and attributes.

It also counted as a control-type skill.

Fortunately, there were enough Skeleton Warriors; even though a few were knocked back, more followed up.

Large blades fell upon the Mana Shield, causing it to distort immediately.

A few more strikes would finish it.

The humanoid mage activated a skill again, and a fire meteor materialized out of thin air, crashing down from the sky.

With a loud boom, it was like a violent explosion.

The ground turned into a sea of fire.

The Skeleton Warriors stood in the sea of fire without dodging, still gripping their blades and slashing at the enemy.

Five strikes, six strikes… ten strikes.

Several Skeleton Warriors took turns swinging their blades, and after enduring ten strikes, the Mana Shield shattered.

At that moment, the Skeleton Mages' skills arrived as expected, drowning the target.

The Skeleton Warriors also began hacking at it with their blades.

A few seconds later, Lin Moyu received a notification of the monster's elimination.

For a Level 36 Hell-enhanced elite monster, the experience was quite good even when split between two people.

After eliminating one humanoid monster, Lin Moyu continued forward.

There were no warrior monsters, no assassin monsters.

Only mage monsters—the most annoying kind.

Fortunately, there weren't many, only about twenty-odd in total.

Using the same method, it took over an hour for Lin Moyu to finally clear out all these mage monsters.

He arrived before the final boss.

The mage he had seen earlier opened his eyes and looked at Lin Moyu.

"Kill me!"

Chapter 160: A Life-and-Death Battle Devoid of Artistry

A strange look appeared in Lin Moyu's eyes.

This humanoid mage monster before him not only could speak and had told him to come find him…

But the very first thing he said upon meeting was to ask to be killed.

Under Lin Moyu's gaze, the mage slowly stood up.

It was also a humanoid monster with a pale blue translucent body, yet its facial features and appearance didn't look much different from a normal human's.

The difference between it and the other humanoid monsters was very obvious.

It wore a mage robe, which was also manifested from energy.

As it stood up, it even instinctively straightened its clothes.

All its actions indicated that it was conscious and not an ordinary monster.

This was the first time Lin Moyu had encountered such a situation.

A staff appeared in the mage's hand.

Lin Moyu's pupils constricted slightly.

The staff wasn't manifested from energy; it was a real piece of equipment.

The mage looked up at Lin Moyu. "If you want to know why, kill me, and I'll tell you."

No matter how he heard it, those words sounded awkward.

After killing him, how would he speak? Can a dead person still talk?

But it gave Lin Moyu no time to think.

Raising the staff high, a giant fireball shot out from thin air, carrying scorching heat as it rushed toward Lin Moyu at an incredible speed.

A Skeleton Warrior quickly blocked the way in front of Lin Moyu.

The fireball collided with the Skeleton Warrior and exploded violently.
