Chapter 169: Seizing the Second-Grade Cloud Iron Ore
The next day, at dawn, Qin Ming left the valley and arrived near the Grade 2 Cloud Iron Mine.
He saw the black-clothed figures still guarding the mine without moving, while about a mile away, a large group of martial artists were discussing something.
"It seems these martial artists suffered losses at the hands of those black-clothed figures, otherwise they wouldn't be keeping such a distance."
Qin Ming watched everything with a faint smile and strode towards the group of black-clothed figures.
"Who goes there?" A burly man among the black-clothed figures shouted upon seeing an unknown elder approaching.
Hearing the black-clothed man's shout, the martial artists who were discussing in the distance all walked over, paying attention to the commotion.
Qin Ming gave a cold smile and said, "You can scram!"
"Haha…" The black-clothed man laughed, "Just you? Have you seen those martial artists behind you?
Even they couldn't seize our mine, and you, an old fossil?"
"Stubborn!" Qin Ming snorted coldly, waving his hand towards the black-clothed man. Immediately, a surge of spiritual energy erupted from Qin Ming's hand, transforming into a large eagle that pounced on the black-clothed man.
The leading black-clothed man was struck by the large eagle, as if hit by a thousand-pound boulder. His body was sent flying like a broken rag, hanging upside down on the cliff face, his body a pulpy mess.
Dou Qi Manifestation!
A Martial Spirit Realm expert!
The remaining black-clothed figures drew their accompanying swords and blades, intending to act, but when they saw Qin Ming's move, they were dumbfounded and looked like idiots.
The swords and blades in their hands felt incredibly heavy, falling to the ground with clattering sounds. A black-clothed man who seemed to be the leader cupped his hands in a salute and trembled, "Se-senior, do you have any… any commands?"
"Scram, this place belongs to this old man from now on!" Qin Ming coldly shouted.
The black-clothed man braced himself and said, "This place was taken by the Sixth Prince, you see…"
"Don't try to use the Sixth Prince to pressure me. This old man is Shadow Demon. If anyone is dissatisfied, feel free to come find me!" Qin Ming glared, and the aura of a Martial Spirit Realm expert pressed down on the black-clothed figures.
A small Grade 2 mine was nothing to a Martial Spirit Realm expert. He didn't believe the Seventh Prince would offend a Martial Spirit Realm expert for a Grade 2 mine.
"We'll scram right now! Right now." The black-clothed figures quickly picked up their fallen swords and blades and left into the distance.
As for the rogue martial artists, they were trembling with fear. This elder killed at will and was unpredictable. If he became displeased and killed them all, to whom would they complain?
"Aren't you going to scram? Do you want me to invite you for tea?" Qin Ming turned around and shouted.
The group of martial artists immediately scattered like frightened birds.
Qin Ming shook his head and began to investigate the Grade 2 Cloud Iron Mine.
The reason he wanted to occupy this mine was to quell the unrest in Willow City.
Only by him, as a Martial Spirit Realm expert, occupying this place, would no one else harbor illusions about it.
Furthermore, wasn't the Sixth Prince trying to remove his father from the City Lord position because of this mine?
Now that the mine was in his hands, he wondered if the Sixth Prince would spend a great price to replace his father.
After a cursory tour around the mine, Qin Ming shook his head. This mine was just a small one and had no value to him at all.
"Forget it, I wasn't after the value of the mine itself anyway. I should set up the formation first! To prevent rogue martial artists from stealing ore."
Qin Ming took out the prepared tools from his spatial ring and began to set up a protective formation.
He didn't care about rogue martial artists stealing ore, but he was afraid that the profits from these ores would again attract a swarm of rogue martial artists.
These rogue martial artists would do anything for profit, even if he had already announced that this place belonged to him. It was better to enclose it with a formation.
