Chapter 177: Unable to Argue (1)

Su Zi'an's expression was stern, imposing without anger, and his eyes were cold without a trace of warmth: "Stinky Girl, what else do you have to say?"

Su Luo's face showed no emotion, but inwardly she was secretly vigilant. It was truly not easy to make Su Zi'an so angry, but she really didn't know what exactly had happened.

She appeared calm and unperturbed, asking with an even tone: "Father, what are you angry about?"

After doing such a thing, she actually still looked at him with an expression of complete ignorance! Su Zi'an roared angrily: "Speak! Is your third sister's matter your doing?"

So it was Su Wan's matter? A hint of doubt flashed in Su Luo's heart. She remembered very clearly that when she set the fire, there was no human or physical evidence to prove it was her doing. So, was her Cheap Old Father so confident in pinning the blame on her just to bluff her?

Su Luo's confused, dark eyes sparkled, and she asked with a puzzled expression: "How could my third sister's matter be my doing? Father, you think too highly of me, don't you?"

At this moment, she stood calmly, with no trace of guilt or panic in her brows, only innocence, confusion, and a hint of disbelief… Her acting was perfectly subtle and appropriate.

Su Zi'an gave a heavy snort, and with a smack, he flung a stack of papers directly at Su Luo's face!

The sharp Chengxintang paper, with edges as keen as a knife, could easily cut delicate cheeks if one wasn't careful. ♦♦ ♦♦

Su Luo calmly dodged, then unhurriedly picked up the scattered papers, gathered them in her hand, and flipped through them one by one.

That self-satisfied expression, flipping through the pages as if no one else was there… She actually treated this place as a study, not a courtroom!

Simply, simply arrogant!

Su Zi'an's chest was stifled with a surge of anger, neither rising nor falling, truly making him flush red and his neck thick.

His bell-like eyes stared fixedly at Su Luo.

After reading each page, Su Luo held the stack of papers in her hand, raised her gaze to Su Zi'an, her eyes shining with a certain light: "Father, you believe what's written here?"

"Hmph!" Su Zi'an snorted heavily, "What more do you have to say now?!"

His meaning was already very clear: he believed this investigation report, and he was absolutely certain of it.

Su Jingyu's expression was cold, his sinister gaze fixed on Su Luo, his face filled with endless reproach: "Su Luo! How could you do such a cruel and ruthless thing? No matter how wrong Wan'er was, she's still your sister! By doing this, you've completely ruined Wan'er's entire latter half of her life, do you know that?"

Su Luo's gaze shot faintly towards Su Jingyu.

If he hadn't spoken, she would have almost forgotten about this brother whose heart was completely biased.

The Su Madam beside them softly chided: "Jingyu, how can you speak like that? Everything will be decided by your father."

The Su Madam then looked worriedly at Luo Luo: "Luo Luo, don't be afraid. This matter might be someone spreading rumors to cause trouble. Just tell us everything you know, and your father won't wrong you."

Su Luo's face was calm, but inwardly she sneered.

The Su Madam had such a way with words.

Although she outwardly scolded Su Jingyu and outwardly comforted herself, every word revolved around her Cheap Old Father, intentionally stoking his already brewing anger.

A master, absolutely a master.

Su Zi'an, as she expected, slammed the armrest: "Su Luo! Do you admit it or not!"
