Chapter 200: Real Tai Chi
Cao Xiaowan’s expression froze, then she shouted, “You said that yourself! Don’t think you’re so great just because you won one match. My Kanu hasn’t even made a Move yet.
All of you combined aren’t enough for him to beat with one hand.”
Then she turned around and said haughtily, “Husband, make your Move. Hit hard, don’t save me Face.”
“Don’t worry, darling, I won’t disappoint you.”
Kanu said and strode onto the stage.
Although Han Shuai’s performance just now surprised him a little, it was only a surprise and he didn’t take it too seriously. Compared to Tulam, his strength was much greater.
Han Shuai looked at Kanu excitedly, took a stance, and said, “Blackie, bring it on! I’m going to beat you so badly today your own mother won’t recognize you.”
He had just landed a successful Move and was brimming with confidence at the moment.
“Come on, Chinese.”
Kanu looked relaxed, but he was actually giving it 120 percent of his caution, taking a boxing stance on the stage.
He had dominated the underground boxing scene for many years, dabbling in boxing, Taekwondo, Sanda, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and more, truly a Martial Artist.
Han Shuai roared, delivering another powerful punch towards his Face.
Having learned from Tulam’s mistake, Kanu dared not underestimate this punch in the slightest. He raised his hand and also threw a punch.
However, he was holding back a follow-up Move and didn’t use his full strength.
Two fists collided with a bang, and Kanu stumbled back five or six steps before steadying himself, and that was with him being mentally prepared beforehand.
Han Shuai was now a Yellow Level Warrior, with his Internal Skill and external strength combined, giving him an absolute advantage in terms of raw power.
However, he also had his own shortcomings: insufficient combat experience and unfamiliar Moves. After landing one successful Move, he didn’t seize the opportunity to launch the next wave of attacks.
Kanu looked at his slightly swollen fist, secretly surprised. It seemed that a pure strength-on-strength fight wouldn’t work; he could only win with skill.
Next, the two began to fight. Han Shuai had the advantage in cultivation, possessing immense power, while Kanu had rich combat experience. His large physique was not clumsy; on the contrary, his footwork was very agile.
The two fought for more than a dozen rounds, evenly matched and equally skilled.
However, Kanu remained in a mobile state, never engaging Han Shuai head-on.
Ye Bufan secretly shook his head. Han Shuai had, after all, improved his cultivation for too short a time, and he hadn't fully mastered the essence of the True Martial Divine Fist’s Moves.

In contrast, Kanu’s strength was very formidable. Without Internal Skill cultivation methods, he had almost reached the threshold of a Yellow Level Warrior.
Moreover, this guy was very cunning and not impatient for success, like a sly wolf constantly seeking an opportunity.
It could be judged that Han Shuai would lose this match, but he didn't stop it. For Han Shuai to advance from an ordinary person to a Martial Artist overnight, it was inevitable for him to be a bit impetuous, and a little setback was a good thing.
Furthermore, with him watching from the side, no accidents would occur.
The two exchanged a few more Moves, and Kanu appeared somewhat flustered, slipping and nearly falling.
Han Shuai, of course, wouldn’t let this opportunity pass, kicking fiercely towards the opponent’s chest.
Kanu lowered his head, a smug expression on his Face. This was a common Move trap he used, and this Chinese person had fallen for it.
He suddenly spun around, first using the momentum to dissipate force, then raising his hand to grab Han Shuai’s ankle, immediately followed by his right hand striking like lightning towards Han Shuai’s Face.
Han Shuai’s focus was entirely on his right leg. After kicking into empty air, his center was wide open, and it was too late to defend himself now.
Seeing Kanu’s fist, as big as a cooking pot, growing larger before his eyes, if this punch landed solidly, not only would his nasal bone shatter, but he would also be severely injured and fall to the ground.
He closed his eyes, thinking, “It’s over.”
A ferocious expression flashed across Kanu’s Face, showing no mercy.
But just as his fist was about to strike Han Shuai’s Face, a large hand suddenly extended out, like a wall, blocking the way.
Kanu’s powerful fist struck the palm of that large hand, yet it was like hitting a bronze wall and iron fortress, unable to budge it in the slightest.
He was greatly shocked and looked up, only to see Ye Bufan standing beside him with a smile.
“Alright, we concede this round. I’ll fight you.”
Ye Bufan said to the unsettled Han Shuai, “Do you know your shortcomings now? Go back and practice hard. You can never lose to such a weakling again.”
Han Shuai’s old Face flushed, and he turned to step off the stage.
Cao Xiaowan shouted from below the stage, “Husband, well done! Give these ignorant fools a good lesson.”
Seeing her like this, Qin Chuchu and An Yimo both showed a hint of disgust in their eyes, involuntarily stepping back a few paces.
Ye Bufan looked at Kanu in front of him, taking a T'ai Chi Ch'uan starting stance, “Didn’t you say T'ai Chi Ch'uan was just for show? Today I’ll let you see what true T'ai

Chi is.”
Kanu’s heart rejoiced. He had just witnessed the power of Ye Bufan’s palm and was still a little afraid, but seeing him use T'ai Chi Ch'uan, he immediately relaxed.
As far as he knew, this boxing style had no lethality whatsoever and certainly couldn’t compare to his own life-and-death combat skills.
“Kid, you said that, you can’t use other boxing styles.”
This guy, who looked like an unevolved beast, was actually very cunning, first using words to cut off Ye Bufan’s retreat.
“No need, T'ai Chi Ch'uan is enough to deal with a weakling like you.”
“You said that, no going back.”
Kanu finished speaking and swung his fist, as big as a cooking pot, delivering two consecutive punches towards Ye Bufan’s Face.
Ye Bufan’s feet remained still, as if rooted to the ground, while his body swayed left and right like a willow in the wind, easily dodging both punches.
“Let’s see where you’ll hide now.”
Kanu roared, kicking out a powerful whip kick with his right foot.
To his surprise, Ye Bufan didn’t dodge, and the kick landed squarely on Ye Bufan’s chest.
But then he realized that the force of this kick hadn’t landed squarely; instead, it was like a mud ox entering the sea, disappearing without a trace.
“This is T'ai Chi Ch'uan’s ‘Dissipate’诀 (Jue).”
Ye Bufan dissipated the force of his kick, then his chest pushed forward and vibrated. Kanu felt a huge force strike him, and his large body flew back more than ten steps, falling onto the stage with a thud.
“This is T'ai Chi Ch'uan’s ‘Shake’诀 (Jue).”
Kanu got up from the ground, his Face filled with shock. He had never imagined that the boxing style practiced by Chinese old men and Old Madam could possess such great power.
At this moment, the entire boxing gym erupted in thunderous applause, everyone cheering for Ye Bufan.
“Well done, our Chinese T'ai Chi Ch'uan!”
“I just realized T'ai Chi Ch'uan is so powerful. It turns out it wasn’t the boxing style that was bad, but the people practicing it.”
“Long live Chinese Kung Fu! Long live T'ai Chi Ch'uan…”
Below the stage, Cao Xiaowan’s Face was ashen. She hadn’t expected Ye Bufan, who seemed so ordinary, to be so skilled.
An Yimo said in surprise, “Chu Chu, no wonder you took a liking to him. He’s so capable.”
Qin Chuchu said proudly, “Xiao Fan’s capabilities are much greater; this is nothing at all.”
At this moment, Kanu let out a roar. He was unwilling to concede defeat like this, charging towards Ye Bufan like a mad beast.
