Chapter 209: Ghost Race Attacks Sword Sect (3)
Feng Wushuang was tightly bound by the Immortal-Binding Rope, and although her pale face revealed a hint of exhaustion, her eyes remained cold and proudly unyielding.
In the camp where night had fallen and the candlelight was dim, her hands were tied behind her back and her clothes were disheveled. Lin Fan stood quietly before her, his deep gaze fixed upon her.
Feng Wushuang looked up and asked coldly, "Are you here to humiliate me as well? A Ghost Race Cultivator of your status, do you really need to resort to such despicable methods?"
Lin Fan was silent for a moment, then shook his head and chuckled, "Elder Feng, I am not a member of the Ghost Race; you do not need to view me as their lackey." His tone revealed a trace of helplessness and emotion.
Feng Wushuang was slightly stunned, a flash of doubt and disbelief crossing her eyes, "You are not a member of the Ghost Race? Then why are you helping them? What does this have to do with you?"
Lin Fan crouched before Feng Wushuang, his gaze soft and calm, "There are reasons for what I do, and I bear you no malice. I came here today only to ask one thing: do you wish to leave this place?"
Feng Wushuang's gaze was icy as she stared at him, then suddenly she spat fiercely, the saliva landing squarely on Lin Fan's cheek: "Anyone who associates with the Ghost Race is no good. Get out!"
Lin Fan did not get angry; he simply wiped the saliva from his face, his eyes remaining calm and unruffled. He slowly stood up and walked out of the tent without a word.
Outside the tent, Ghost General Mingyan and Ghost General Minglei had been waiting for a long time. Seeing Lin Fan emerge, they immediately put on fawning smiles and asked respectfully, "My Lord, can the brothers take action against that woman now?"
Upon hearing this, Lin Fan merely glanced at them indifferently and coldly spat out two words, "Do as you please."
Upon hearing this, the two were overjoyed and impatiently pushed open the tent curtain, rushing inside excitedly.
Inside the tent, Feng Wushuang was tied to a simple wooden chair, her clothes disheveled and her hair hanging loosely over her shoulders, but her eyes remained firm and stubborn.
The two looked at Feng Wushuang, triumphant smiles appearing on their faces.
"Fairy Wushuang, weren't you very arrogant during the day? How did you end up like this now? Where has your arrogance gone?"
Feng Wushuang gritted her teeth and turned her head slightly, truly unwilling to look at their disgusting faces again.
Seeing Feng Wushuang remained silent, the two became displeased. With a 'slap,' Ghost General Minglei struck her rosy cheek with a heavy backhand.
"I'm talking to you, didn't you hear me!"
Feng Wushuang gritted her teeth, a sneer flashing in her eyes. Just as she was about to spit at them, Ghost General Mingyan, having anticipated her reaction, quickly covered her mouth.
She struggled, emitting low, muffled groans. After Ghost General Mingyan let go, she couldn't help but cough violently, her face slightly flushed.
The two said mockingly, "Do you think we are as easy to deal with as those so-called big shots?"
Ghost General Minglei's eyes turned cold, and he smiled sinisterly, "Why don't we cut out her tongue and see how she spits at us in the future!"
"That's an interesting idea. Cutting out her tongue would be perfect to go with our wine." Ghost General Mingyan curled his lips into a cold sneer. As soon as he finished speaking, he reached out and closed in on Feng Wushuang.
Without her cultivation, Feng Wushuang's mouth was easily pried open by Ghost General Mingyan. She twisted and turned like a little loach, but could not escape Ghost General Mingyan, while Ghost General Minglei had already pulled out a curved blade to cut out her tongue.
She had originally thought she would at most have to endure some insults; she never expected to be treated so cruelly.
Countless terrifying thoughts flooded her mind—would her breasts, legs, and other parts of her body also be cut off by them?
Her face turned instantly ashen, and she was terrified.
Just then, the tent curtain was lifted, and Lin Fan appeared again.
Ghost General Mingyan and Ghost General Minglei immediately stopped their actions and bowed respectfully, "My Lord."
Lin Fan waved his hand lightly, "Get out."
"Yes!" The two replied with lowered heads and quickly retreated.
Lin Fan looked at Feng Wushuang with an indifferent gaze, his voice flat, "I will ask you one more time: do you want to leave here?"
Feng Wushuang replied with a cold laugh, "What exactly do you want?"
Feng Wushuang had long been prepared for the worst, knowing that her most valuable asset was this beautiful body.
"You have two choices. First, stay by my side; second, become our bait."
Feng Wushuang's heart turned cold. As expected, he wanted to use her body for leverage. "Fine, I choose the first option, but you must guarantee my safety."
"No problem."
Lin Fan brought her back to his own luxurious tent, "Go inside."
Although Feng Wushuang was uneasy in her heart, for the sake of survival, she could only obediently go inside.
Lin Fan turned and said to the guards outside the tent, "Watch her well. She must not be allowed to escape."
Lin Fan circulated his Void Power and used Void Evasion to disappear from the spot.
When Feng Wushuang entered the tent and saw the luxurious rose-colored bed before her, a wave of emotion fluctuated within her.
She understood that if she wanted to survive, she had no choice but to please this powerful man before her.
She gently removed her already somewhat disheveled white robes, stood before the bed, and silently waited for Lin Fan's arrival.
However, she waited for a long time, and still no one came in. Gradually, a sense of doubt and unease rose in her heart.
Meanwhile, Lin Fan had already quietly returned to the Xuanyin Qin Sect.
The night breeze blew gently, bringing a chill. Su Wanqing stood in the pavilion by the lotus pond, her gaze deep, as if she were thinking about something.
Suddenly, a familiar aura rushed towards her. Lin Fan appeared gently behind her and wrapped his arms tenderly around her slender waist.
Feeling that familiar touch, Su Wanqing's body couldn't help but relax slightly, and she leaned into his embrace.
"You're back. How did things go?"
Lin Fan's brows furrowed slightly, his voice low, "It's not easy to handle. Sovereign Jue has already started attacking the Yunyin Sword Sect, and there are many former Disciples of the Xuanyin Qin Sect within the Yunyin Sword Sect."
Su Wanqing's eyes sank slightly, and she said in a low voice, "What? Are you reluctant to let them go?"
Lin Fan smiled bitterly, "That's not it. Let's see what their attitude is first. If they have no intention of returning to the Xuanyin Qin Sect, then let them fend for themselves."
Su Wanqing nodded gently, "Hmm, since they have already defected to another sect, they must be responsible for their own choices. However, if they are willing to return and can contribute to the Qin Sect, it is still worth a try."
"Hmm." Lin Fan nodded, "I will go talk to Lin Chen to see if any Disciples are willing to return. It would be best if we could take back those who are willing to return."
"Go ahead." Su Wanqing smiled gently, a trace of tenderness in her eyes.
Lin Fan turned and walked towards Lin Chen's Qimeng Courtyard, his figure disappearing into the night.
Leaving Su Wanqing standing quietly in the pavilion alone, the surface of the lotus pond rippled slightly, reflecting her thoughtful expression.
