Chapter 23: Nightingale’s Hope (Part 7)
As soon as Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie saw the design schematics, their eyes widened, and they were so astonished they almost forgot to breathe.
They exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with shock and excitement.
As Zhang Ming flipped through the blueprints, he said excitedly, "This… this is simply shocking! Isn't this the design schematic for a Level 3 Civilization mechanical soldier?!"
"Yes, yes, yes! This is the iconic mechanical soldier of a Level 3 Civilization!" Zhang Tie was so excited he couldn't speak properly, and he pointed excitedly at a component on the blueprint.
"Look at this! The Curvature Engine! Its appearance marks the arrival of a Level 3 Civilization! This is one of the most powerful power Systems in the Universe! This isn't just an upgrade to the power System; it's a revolution for the entire soldier System!"
The two spoke almost in unison, their eyes filled with reverence and longing for future technology.
Zhang Ming clenched his fists, his tone revealing immense excitement, "This… this is the top-tier technology that our Earth can currently access! To think we can actually see these blueprints—it's like opening the door to the future! If we can successfully manufacture them, we will be able to produce these soldiers! This will completely change the technological landscape of Earth!"
Zhang Tie's eyes were filled with fervor as he muttered to himself, "Curvature Engine, quantum circuits, alloy shells, intelligent control Systems… these are all core elements of a Level 3 Civilization! And we are actually able to realize them!"
Lin Fan stood to the side and smiled slightly; he could see that the excitement of Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie had reached an uncontrollable level.
Although this blueprint was only a design from a Level 3 Civilization, it was a major Breakthrough in the history of Earth's technology.
Earth's current peak technological level could at most be considered a 2.5-level civilization, while the mechanical soldiers of a Level 3 Civilization could possess combat power far exceeding Earth's existing technology.
Lin Fan said in a deep voice, "I know this is quite shocking for you, but don't forget, this is only the first step. We must now ensure these blueprints are turned into reality; they cannot just remain on paper."
Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie took a deep breath, trying hard to calm their excited emotions. After taking the blueprints, they both nodded, their eyes firm, "We understand, Boss! This is not just a technological challenge; it is also our mission. We will definitely do our best to complete this task!"
Seeing their determination, Lin Fan felt a slight stir in his heart, and his gaze became sharper, "I hope you can complete it as soon as possible. No matter what, we must gain the advantage in the upcoming war."
"Rest assured, Boss, I will definitely get it done for you within three days!" Zhang Tie patted his chest and vowed confidently.
Lin Fan looked at his overflowing confidence, couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, and felt somewhat amused.
He patted Zhang Tie on the shoulder, "Don't force yourself if you can't get it done; I have other ways. Don't put too much pressure on yourself."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Tie's expression stiffened, but he immediately puffed out his chest again, "Boss, just wait for my good news!"
Lin Fan smiled, turned, and left Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie's workshop. Just as he left the second basement level, his attention was drawn by the sound of light, brisk footsteps.
Looking up, he saw three beautiful figures walking toward him.
Yin Miaoxue was wearing a JK uniform consisting of a white shirt and a pleated miniskirt, paired with a pair of knee-high socks, which perfectly set off her cold and aloof temperament.
The light blue tie fluttered slightly in the wind, looking particularly lively, and her ice-blue eyes shimmered with a hint of anticipation.
Princess Hu Qinlan was wearing a green plaid JK outfit, her skirt swaying slightly, outlining her long, straight legs. Her fresh and refined temperament seemed to make the surrounding air feel more refreshing.
Her eyes, filled with a smile, curved slightly, like ripples in spring water.
Princess Jin Xuan wore a black and red JK uniform; the vivid colors revealed her proud figure completely. Especially with her golden long hair and the collarbones exposed at the neckline, she exuded an unignorable aura of nobility and glamour.
The three walked over together, stood in front of Lin Fan, and said in unison, "Lin Fan, we want to pilot the mechs!"
Lin Fan was stunned for a moment. Looking at their carefully dressed appearance, he couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth, "Do you like mechs that much?"
Princess Jin Xuan crossed her arms, lifted her pretty face slightly, and said with a hint of pride, "Of course! The Flame Shadow R7 Mech has been fully upgraded, and its performance is so strong now. You wouldn't stop me from trying it, would you?"
Yin Miaoxue said softly, "I also want to personally experience the ice-attribute attacks of the frost moon e1."
Princess Hu Qinlan smiled slightly, her tone gentle, "I heard that the Spirit Water X9 Mech has high flexibility, and I also want to test my piloting skills."
Lin Fan looked at their expectant gazes and waved his hand. Three luxury vehicles slowly started from the parking area nearby and drove towards the three of them respectively.
Yin Miaoxue's frost moon e1 was silver-white with hints of ice-blue luster, its body lines smooth and full of futuristic feel. After entering its mech form, it radiated cold air, and the dual blades on its back looked like frozen ice crystal wings, appearing extremely cold and gorgeous.
Princess Hu Qinlan's Spirit Water X9 Mech had an emerald green body. After transforming into its mech form, its shape was as elegant and smooth as flowing water. The water-element energy core embedded in the shoulder armor, combined with the long whip-like weapon, made one feel a nimble murderous intent.
Princess Jin Xuan's Flame Shadow R7 Mech had dazzling colors of interwoven gold and red. After transforming, it appeared particularly fierce; the flame core in its chest continuously released heat energy, and the heavy cannon devices on its arms signaled its terrifying explosive power.
The three looked at their own mechs, their eyes flashing with deep amazement and joy.
"Lin Fan, these mechs are simply too cool!"
Lin Fan explained evasively, "Originally, I wanted you to use Nightingale's troops to practice, but Nightingale didn't seem as durable as I thought, so I took the initiative."
In the large parking lot, the three mechs started one after another. Yin Miaoxue, Princess Hu Qinlan, and Princess Jin Xuan sat in their respective cockpits, excitedly trying to control the mechs that had just finished transforming.
However, despite their excitement, their operations appeared exceptionally clumsy.
The frost moon e1 piloted by Yin Miaoxue had barely taken a step when its ice-blue dual blades got stuck in a crack in the ground, and the entire mech nearly fell over.
She was so anxious she broke into a sweat, "How do I adjust this balance System? I didn't even touch it just now!"
When Princess Hu Qinlan's Spirit Water X9 Mech tried to turn around, its steps were messy, and it nearly crashed into a concrete pillar in the parking lot. She hurriedly used both hands to control it, but the mech ended up sitting on the ground with a thud, making a loud noise.
Princess Jin Xuan's Flame Shadow R7 Mech was even more aggressive; it tried to directly activate the thrusters on its back, but the jet energy went out of control. After the mech did two somersaults in mid-air, it crashed down with a "bang," sending sparks flying everywhere.
