Chapter 259: Momentum
"It's all thanks to the excellent guidance of the Sect Master and the Elder!" Yang Shu said respectfully.
Qin Ming said, "This is all due to your own diligence; I haven't had any time to teach you at all."
Yang Shu said gratefully, "If it weren't for your Medicinal Pills, Sect Master, how could we have reached the Grand Martial Master Realm so quickly?
The Medicinal Pills you've spent on us could be piled up into a small mountain."
"We're here! Go back to your work!" Qin Ming said to Yang Shu, looking at Jue Wuya in the distance.
Yang Shu glanced at Jue Wuya, bowed, and departed.
Qin Ming walked to a rock, sat down, and watched Jue Wuya practice his swordplay.
Jue Wuya's current swordsmanship was much more sophisticated than before.
With a single thrust, the rapier was like a bolt of thunder, yet silent. It would not be easy to defend against such lightning-fast strikes.
"Qin Ming, you're back?" Seeing Qin Ming sitting nearby, Jue Wuya's face lit up with joy.
"How was it? Did things go smoothly?" Jue Wuya walked over, sat directly on the ground, and asked.
"The Qixin Sect's strength is even greater than expected; they actually have two Martial King level Experts.
Furthermore, one of those Martial Kings is indeed a member of the Scorpion organization. His strength is unfathomable, and his entire body is shrouded in black mist!" Qin Ming said in a heavy voice.
"Two Martial Kings?" Jue Wuya said worriedly. "Two Martial Kings won't be easy to deal with. What if they launch a joint attack?"
"Fortunately, they are both injured now. It's impossible for them to attack the Qin Family for the time being, so we are safe for now!" Qin Ming said.
"Injured? How did Martial King level Experts get injured?" Jue Wuya asked curiously.
Qin Ming recounted everything that happened inside the secret Realm from beginning to end without any concealment.
"Qin Ming, what you did was too reckless. One wrong move and you would have been beyond redemption!" Jue Wuya said solemnly after hearing Qin Ming's thrilling account.
"It's fine," Qin Ming said. "A Martial King level Expert can't kill me yet. If things really go south, I still have forbidden pills!"
He was the God of Pills; naturally, he could easily refine forbidden pills. However, forbidden pills provided temporary strength by squeezing the body's future potential.
They caused great damage to the body and would affect one's Foundation. Therefore, Qin Ming would not use forbidden pills unless it was absolutely necessary.
His goal was the God Realm; after using a forbidden pill, the chance of advancing to the God Realm would be minuscule.
Furthermore, using a forbidden pill would cause his current Realm to drop. He didn't know how long it would take to train back up.
"You must never use forbidden pills. You are a Pill God; you should know the damage forbidden pills do to the body better than I do.
That would be destroying your own future!"
Jue Wuya urged.
Qin Ming nodded and said, "Don't worry, my goal is to become a Martial God; I won't give up that easily."
Hearing this, Jue Wuya felt relieved.
"I just saw your swordsmanship. You've made great progress, but it seems you've gone in the wrong direction," Qin Ming said.
"Gone in the wrong direction?" Jue Wuya was surprised. If anyone else had said that, he would have definitely thrust his sword at them.
Qin Ming was even more skilled in swordsmanship than he was, especially his insight, which was incredibly accurate. Since he said it was the wrong direction, then it definitely was.
So, what was the true direction?
Qin Ming continued, "Although your swordsmanship looks very impressive and you've learned the moves perfectly, it lacks spirit.
You are Cultivating entirely according to the Secret Manual, but the manual is dead. No matter how much you practice according to the manual, it will always just be this. Only by forming your own 'Momentum' can it be true swordsmanship."
"My own Momentum?" Jue Wuya looked at the rapier in his hand and fell into deep thought.
"I've practiced the swordsmanship until I'm incredibly proficient, yet I've always felt something was missing. Could it be the Momentum Qin Ming spoke of?
But what is Momentum?"
