Chapter 2591

He unleashed another Chain Lightning. Under the previous Chain Lightning, some of the stronger members of the Nether Race had survived.

But it didn't matter; if one strike wasn't enough, he'd use two; if two weren't enough, he'd use three.

The Nether God Lord roared, "I will kill you!"

A dragon's roar echoed from the sky.

Black dragons draped in flames flew down, charging toward the Thunder Lich, but with Lin Moyu present, the black dragons couldn't get anywhere near the Thunder Lich.

Lin Moyu instantly threw thousands of punches, filling the sky with fist shadows.

The black dragons had nowhere to escape and were instantly obliterated by the force of his punches. Several Chain Lightning strikes landed on the members of the Nether Race, exploding upon impact.

The Thunder Lich had unleashed a total of five Chain Lightning strikes, killing almost all the members of the Nether Race who hadn't yet been sacrificed.

Only four members of the Nether Race at the Dao Venerable 8th Realm remained; they hadn't died, but they were severely injured.

Lin Moyu noticed that all the members of the Nether Race killed by the Chain Lightning had turned into black mist.

They returned to the Nether Black Pool, going back to where they came from.

However, this method of returning offered no benefit to the Nether God Lord; it didn't help him accelerate his escape from the black dragon's shackles.

The Nether God Lord gritted his teeth, "You are good, really good."

"I retract my words about making you my slave. I will cast your soul into Hell to be roasted for eternity! You shall never be reincarnated!"

"Do you think you have more people? Don't forget, this is Hell. Hell is never short of people!"

Flames continued to erupt, and countless monsters draped in fire rushed out from the flames.

The rain of fire falling from the sky also transformed into individual fire monsters. Lin Moyu was slightly taken aback.

"Hell Fierce Spirits?"

These fire monsters were extremely similar to Hell Fierce Spirits.

However, their power varied; the strong ones exceeded the Dao Venerable 7th Realm, while the weak ones were only at the Dao Venerable 2nd or 3rd Realm.

Lin Moyu knew that these monsters resembling Hell Fierce Spirits came from hell fragments.

The Nether God Lord gritted his teeth. "I didn't expect you to know about Hell Fierce Spirits. This is the most terrifying army in Hell; they eat everything. They swallow everything. Your skeletons will only become their fodder!"

Lin Moyu sighed softly.

"Fine, then let's see who eats whom!"

He snapped his fingers.

Space twisted, and Bone Hell suddenly manifested, with a massive number of Hell Fierce Spirits rushing out.

They collided with the Hell Fierce Spirits released by the Nether God Lord. As soon as they made contact, they began to tear at each other frantically, not caring at all whether the other side was of the same kind.

This stunned the Nether God Lord. "You, how can you have Hell Fierce Spirits?"

Lin Moyu laughed, "Look closely, is it just Hell Fierce Spirits?"

Accompanied by a loud dragon's roar, a black dragon rushed out. Only then did the Nether God Lord see clearly.

Not only were there Hell Fierce Spirits, but there was also a black pool emitting black mist. This black pool was exactly the same as his own Nether Black Pool—it was identical.

Then, he saw something else.

Above the Nether Black Pool, there was also an incomplete Gate of Hell. "Ah!"

The Nether God Lord let out a strange cry, clearly startled, and then screamed frantically.

"The Gate of Hell! How could you have the Gate of Hell? Who exactly are you!"

It was evident that he was incredibly fearful of the Gate of Hell, far more so than of the Nether Black Pool.

It seemed there were infinite secrets behind the Gate of Hell. Lin Moyu sneered.

"You are destined never to get an answer to that question!"

As he spoke, he lunged toward the Nether God Lord. Over a minute had passed, and the great dao undying pill could last for ten minutes.

He had to eliminate his opponent within ten minutes. Lin Moyu crossed the void in two steps, arriving before the Nether God Lord, and threw a punch.

The Nether God Lord reacted from his panic and let out a roar, "Go to hell!"

The black dragon beneath him moved, and a massive tail whipped over at an astonishing speed. The tail's speed was far too fast, far exceeding Lin Moyu's.

With a bang, it struck Lin Moyu, sending him flying instantly.

The sound of breaking bones came from within his body, but the next second, Lin Moyu charged back again.

He acted as if nothing had happened, charging back frantically. The Nether God Lord's expression changed slightly.

He knew exactly how powerful that previous strike was. Yet, Lin Moyu was completely unharmed, not even showing any signs of injury.

The tail whipped over again. Lin Moyu punched the tail, and a loud bang echoed.

Lin Moyu was sent flying again. The power of the black dragon's tail was too great; Lin Moyu found it hard to resist.

However, fortunately, the creature was stuck here and couldn't move; otherwise, Lin Moyu felt he might not necessarily be able to win.

Lin Moyu charged over time and time again, and the tail sent him flying time and time again. Within a short three minutes, hundreds of charges had been blocked.

The defensive net woven by the black dragon's tail was incredibly tight and impossible to break through.

However, Lin Moyu also noticed that while he was attacking, the speed at which the Nether God Lord was separating from the black dragon became extremely slow—more than ten times slower.

He needed to divide his attention to control the black dragon to fight to protect himself.

Chapter 3294: The Former Master of the scepter of calamity

Not everyone could multitask like Lin Moyu without being affected, but Lin Moyu also found it difficult to break through the black dragon for the moment.

He couldn't hurt the Nether God Lord, the duration of the great dao undying pill was limited, and his soul power was currently being consumed rapidly.

Lin Moyu knew that dragging it out was extremely disadvantageous to him. The Nether God Lord laughed heartily, "Your own cultivation realm is not high."

"Your power comes from an Origin Technique, and the pill you took ensures that your physical body is undying and indestructible for a short time. It seems you are relying on the pill to break your limits and maintain such a realm, but how long can you last? Ten minutes? Or twenty minutes?"

"You don't understand the realm I was once in. Let alone you, even if someone in the Great Dao Realm came, they wouldn't think about hurting me!"

The Nether God Lord was unscrupulous. He was speaking the truth; the power of the Nether Black Dragon was too strong.

Even if it was severely injured, it wasn't something Lin Moyu could break through. In fact, even if someone in the Great Dao Realm came here, and the black dragon stood still and let them hit it, the Great Dao Realm expert might not necessarily be able to cause damage to the black dragon's body.

If he waited until the Nether God Lord had completely separated, he would possess abilities not weaker than the Nether Black Dragon. Even if his abilities were insufficient right after separating, if he wanted to leave, Lin Moyu was afraid he wouldn't be able to stop him.

After a long time, it was hard to imagine what level he would eventually reach. By then, trying to deal with him would be incredibly difficult.

Even someone in the Great Dao Realm might not be enough. Furthermore, Lin Moyu suspected that even if he separated from the Nether Black Pool, he would still possess the ability to control the Nether Black Pool, which would be quite terrifying.

Therefore, he had to destroy him before he succeeded in separating.

Originating from the Nether Black Pool, the Nether God Lord had no feelings for this world or for living beings.

In his consciousness, the most likely thing he would do was destroy this world, turn the entire Origin Continent into Hell, reenact Hell, and he would become the Lord of Hell.

Not to mention anything else, just this point alone was something Lin Moyu could not tolerate.

Trying to contend with him for the position of Lord of Hell? Dream on.

Amidst the Nether God Lord's wild laughter, Lin Moyu charged over again. The Nether God Lord didn't think much of it and continued to control the black dragon's tail to sweep over.

In his imagination, Lin Moyu would be repelled just like before and would never be able to break through the defense of the black dragon's tail.

But this time, an accident happened. The Nether God Lord suddenly let out a scream.

The black dragon's tail, which had blocked Lin Moyu countless times, suddenly shattered. The Nether God Lord, who had not yet separated from the black dragon, felt unimaginable, intense pain.

"Impossible! How did my tail shatter!"

The Nether God Lord still instinctively believed that he was the Nether Black Dragon, and his incredibly powerful tail—a tail sufficient to whip someone in the Great Dao Realm to death—had actually been smashed to pieces.

Then, he saw the thing that had smashed his tail.

In Lin Moyu's hand was a small, inconspicuous scepter. The scepter was inlaid with three gemstones, and there were spaces for two more, indicating that this scepter was incomplete.

The moment he saw the scepter of calamity, the Nether God Lord let out a strange cry. His eyes were full of fear.

"The Master's scepter! How could the Master's scepter be in your hands? Who exactly are you?"

Lin Moyu was slightly taken aback. So the scepter of calamity was the treasure of the Lord of Hell.

No wonder it was so powerful. Lin Moyu didn't know how strong the Lord of Hell was, but he was certain that the Lord of Hell was very strong, perhaps not even weaker than those Dao Lords.

His treasure must certainly be a good item that transcended the Great Dao Realm. Naturally, it was incomparably powerful; it hit Outer Domain Celestial Gods of the Great Dao Realm with perfect accuracy every time.

It had never disappointed him, and it was the same now; it had easily smashed the tail of the Nether Black Dragon.

Seeing his former Master's treasure, the Nether God Lord almost knelt down on the spot; he was full of fear.

"Impossible, impossible! Except for the Master, no one can use the Master's treasure. Even if you have obtained the Master's treasure, at most, you can only use it to smash people. You don't know how powerful it is at all."

Suddenly, his tone changed. The fear in his eyes was replaced by greed.

"Give it to me, and I can promise not to kill you. We can wipe the slate clean regarding what happened before."

Lin Moyu looked at his suddenly changed attitude and couldn't help but reveal a cold sneer.

"It seems you really aren't very smart. Having absorbed so many human souls and true spirits, you still haven't made any progress."

The Nether God Lord said coldly, "Don't think that just because you have it, you can act recklessly. Your strength is limited. For me to kill you is not that difficult!"

As he spoke, the Nether God Lord suddenly opened his mouth wide and spewed out a sky full of black mist. The black mist intertwined with the hellfire, covering the sky and the earth as it enveloped Lin Moyu.

The black mist came from the Nether Black Pool and was similar to Dragon Breath, but stronger than Dragon Breath.

Once swallowed by the black mist, even someone in the Dao Venerable 9th Realm could not resist it and would not be able to last long.

In the eyes of the Nether God Lord, even if Lin Moyu held the scepter of calamity, he couldn't use the power of the scepter of calamity; at most, it could only be used as an invincible weapon to smash people.

As long as he wasn't hit by it, there was no threat.

The Nether God Lord continuously spewed black mist, shrouding the sky and earth, while at the same time shooting beams of red light from his eyes.

They wove into a large net, cutting through the sky and earth like sharp blades. Wherever the red light passed, space was cut into fragments.

Although he could not move, his power had not weakened in the slightest. It was a notch stronger than an ordinary Dao Venerable 9th Realm expert, sufficient to rival the Pseudo-Great Dao Realm, and by relying on the Nether Black Dragon body beneath him, even someone in the Great Dao Realm could do nothing to him.

From the very beginning, the Nether God Lord felt that he stood in an invincible position.
