Chapter 2635

Lin Moyu stood above the lake, sensing the aura of the entity below through the thick glacier. It was truly a bizarre feeling.

The glacier was like a massive iron plate, pinning it firmly down here, even as it tried to seep into the earth.

But it had failed, and could only barely survive in the tiny gap between the earth and the glacier. The Eye of the Undead opened once more.

This time, he finally saw a tiny Soul Fire. This Soul Fire was extremely minuscule, not a complete Soul Fire.

It was likely just a clone of a massive soul. Although they were all called Soul Fire, their forms varied greatly.

The Soul Fire of every living being had its own unique characteristics. When Lin Moyu saw this Soul Fire, he couldn't help but frown.

It was black blood again!

He was very familiar with the Soul Fire before him, having seen it many times.

It was exactly the same as the Soul Fire of those powerhouses in the Black Blood Great World. What the Eye of the Undead saw was black blood, but strangely…

No sense of revulsion came from his soul. Even though he clearly saw black blood, there was no feeling of disgust.

This was highly intriguing. Lin Moyu pondered and gradually arrived at a possibility.

The soul of black blood before him had clearly lost its self-awareness, acting solely on instinct to gather power.

It was manifesting Glacier Beasts. The reason it didn't trigger the Great Dao's revulsion was likely because it was already dead.

At least, the Great Dao deemed it dead, with only instinct remaining, like a walking corpse.

Other than manifesting Glacier Beasts, it could do nothing else, posing no threat to this world.

Naturally, the Great Dao would not view it as an enemy. But just because the Great Dao wasn't hostile didn't mean Lin Moyu wasn't.

He remembered very clearly what those fellows from the Black Blood Great World had done. From the moment Lin Moyu saw the Soul Fire,

he was already thinking of ways to destroy it. Even though it was currently dead and without consciousness, what if it developed a new consciousness in the future?

Leaving such a thing around was a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately, the glacier was far too thick and sturdy.

It would be difficult to shatter. If he had Su Pu do it, he should be able to break the glacier.

However, there had to be another way. Otherwise, even Su Pu might not be able to pierce through the glaciers below the Seventh Extreme.

Since its power could seep out from beneath the glacier to gather and manifest into Glacier Beasts, there had to be a passage.

The passage was… Lin Moyu instantly understood how the entity had bypassed the glacier's seal.

It was utilizing the glacier tea trees. The glacier tea trees were rooted upon the glacier, and their roots penetrated deep through it.

They burrowed deep into the earth beneath the glacier, forming tiny passages. It was precisely by utilizing the glacier tea trees

that the power beneath the glacier could seep out bit by bit. Since that was the case, he could also make use of the tea trees

to launch an attack on the power beneath the glacier. The entity was ancient; for it to survive under the glacier's suppression

for so many years, its power was bound to be formidable. However, there was no need to clash with it head-on.

As long as he could obliterate its remaining Soul Fire, its power would naturally dissipate, and even all the Glacier Beasts in this extreme

would rapidly collapse. Lin Moyu swept his gaze around, locating the nearest glacier tea tree.

With a wave of his hand, he summoned the World-Burning Fire, compressing it into a thin thread, and pressed it close against the glacier tea tree.

It drilled down along the trunk. Although the glacier tea tree and the glacier seemed tightly bound together, there was actually a slight gap.

Though the gap was thinner than a strand of hair, Lin Moyu pushed his spiritual sense to its limit, meticulously manipulating the World-Burning Fire.

It successfully passed through the gap, following the roots, and the World-Burning Fire finally entered beneath the glacier.

It then spread along the gap between the glacier and the earth, heading toward where the Soul Fire was located. The Soul Fire possessed no consciousness,

retaining only some instincts from when it was alive, completely oblivious to the approaching danger.

Under Lin Moyu's control, the World-Burning Fire smoothly approached it, then transformed into a massive net that enveloped it. Within the Eye of the Undead,

the Soul Fire began to writhe frantically and violently as the World-Burning Fire blazed, erasing its last trace of existence.

"You are already dead. There is no longer any need for this leftover, fragmented trash to exist."

"Die. Stop polluting this world, you filthy thing."

Lin Moyu's words dripped with disgust. At this moment, he was expressing the revulsion toward the Black Blood Great World on behalf of the Great Dao. Faint screams echoed in his ears.

The cold wind howled as countless Glacier Beasts shrieked in unison. Beneath the glacier,

the ancient power made its deathbed struggle, frantically slamming against the glacier, but to no avail.

Chapter 3356: Nurturing the World-Burning Fire, Feeding the Bone Hell

The glacier was incredibly thick; it couldn't break through at all. The burning continued for two minutes.

The Soul Fire was finally completely incinerated. Without the Soul Fire, everything fell into silence.

The suppressed ancient power began to collapse. At this moment, Lin Moyu noticed that on the glacier tea tree,

a large amount of fresh tea leaves had actually grown. The dissipating power suppressed beneath the glacier had instead become nourishment for the glacier tea tree.

Nurturing a batch of fresh tea leaves, Lin Moyu had a sudden realization and murmured to himself.

"The glacier suppresses it, using its power to nurture the glacier tea trees, while the glacier tea trees absorb its power."

"Yet, this in turn gave it a pathway to manifest Glacier Beasts. This act is both the cause and the effect."

"Cause and effect intertwining is truly wondrous." Lin Moyu now fully understood the purpose of the glacier tea trees.

The glacier tea trees could continuously absorb the power suppressed beneath the glacier, using it to nurture themselves.

This was indeed an excellent method, but the Great Dao always leaves a sliver of hope. That power had also used the glacier tea trees

to reach the outside world, gathering its obsession to form Glacier Beasts.

With the inside and outside connected, the originally rootless and sourceless power now had an origin.

Thus, the glacier tea trees could never completely absorb its power, and the entity naturally wouldn't destroy this sole connecting passage. As a result, a delicate balance was formed between the two sides.

Planting the ice-seed tea trees was well-intentioned, but it didn't end up doing any good. The Nine Extremes Glacier was related to the ancestors of the Hanshui Holy Land.

Perhaps it was set up by the ancestors of the Hanshui Holy Land, but whether the glacier tea trees were their doing was hard to say.

Prevention is better than cure. In Lin Moyu's eyes, if they had indeed done this,

it wasn't a major mistake; they just weren't meticulous enough, failing to account for certain details.

Lin Moyu did not hold back either, harvesting all the tea leaves from the nearby trees, leaving almost none behind.

In the future, without that power beneath the glacier, the yield of glacier tea would drastically decrease, but that was none of Lin Moyu's business.

Lin Moyu didn't care at all. Why should he care? This was the fruit of his own labor.

Naturally, he couldn't let others take advantage of it. The Fourth Extreme glacier tea wasn't bad either.

On the way to the Fifth Extreme, Lin Moyu did not encounter any more Glacier Beasts, as their source had been destroyed.

Naturally, Glacier Beasts could no longer exist. This was also a way to deal with Glacier Beasts, and it pulled them out by the roots.

However, Lin Moyu also knew that destroying the source was no easy task.

The Fourth Extreme Glacier was still manageable, but it would get harder the further down he went. Lin Moyu even suspected

whether actual black blood would appear beneath the glaciers after the Seventh Extreme. If so,

an excited look flashed in Lin Moyu's eyes. If that were truly the case, he could earn another handsome Great Dao Reward.

Entering the Fifth Extreme Glacier, the temperature plummeted. As soon as Lin Moyu landed,

a layer of ice covered his body. Normally, the Fifth Extreme Glacier was a place only a Seventh Realm Ancestor could enter.

Lin Moyu was currently only in the Dao Venerable 4th Realm. Even with a Dao Venerable 6th Realm physical body, the Fifth Extreme Glacier had already exceeded his limit.

The ice grew thicker and heavier, gradually turning Lin Moyu into an ice sculpture. He was completely frozen.

His eyes were slightly closed, and he remained motionless. However, from within his body,

the sound of giant waves crashing against the shore echoed continuously. His vital energy surged like a mountain-toppling sea, while the cold continuously invaded his body.

The Dao of Strength galvanized his entire vital energy to combat the cold. This time, the Dao of Strength was different.

Within the Dao of Strength, there was an extra touch of vitality. Now, Lin Moyu's Daos

were all ruled by the Undying Great Dao. While activating the Dao of Strength, it would also draw upon the power of the Undying Great Dao.

The two powers of the Undying Great Dao could be freely converted at Lin Moyu's will.

When facing enemies, the Dao of Strength could envelop the Power of Death. When mobilizing vital energy,

the Dao of Strength could envelop the Power of Life. In the areas damaged by the cold, the Power of Life and his vital energy worked in tandem

to rapidly repair them. The cold did not just freeze his physical body; it also invaded his soul.

However, the tier of Lin Moyu's soul was too high, greatly reducing the cold's effectiveness compared to its effect on his physical body.

As the Dao of Strength operated, the Soul World also emitted sounds like a tsunami, completely expelling the cold invading his soul.

In just ten minutes, Lin Moyu had adapted, and his rate of repair had caught up with the rate of damage.

Following that, the repair speed grew faster and faster, and his body began to gradually adapt to the freezing temperature.

After another ten minutes, Lin Moyu withdrew the Power of Life, relying solely on the Dao of Strength to mobilize his vital energy.

This alone was enough to withstand the freezing temperature. Just half an hour later, the ice encasing Lin Moyu

developed dense cracks and then exploded with a bang.

Lin Moyu slowly stepped out from the ice sculpture. When the cold wind blew on him, it could only form a thin layer of frost,

which would then be immediately dispelled by his vital energy. In just half an hour, Lin Moyu had adapted to the cold of the Fifth Extreme.

His physical body had improved, and even his soul realm had advanced slightly. "Just as I thought."

"The cold of the Nine Extremes Glacier can indeed be used to temper the physical body, and at the same time, train the soul."

"However, the Fifth Extreme is not enough to train the physical body to the seventh realm. It will take at least the Sixth Extreme for the physical body to step into the seventh realm."

"In fact, the Sixth Extreme might not even be enough; it might require the Seventh Extreme."

Lin Moyu felt the changes in his physical body. Stepping from the sixth realm to the seventh realm required a majestic amount of power, making it much more difficult than tempering his physical body before.

But regardless, at least there was improvement.

This was a good thing. He had once thought that physical cultivation was much harder than raising one's realm, and in fact, that was indeed the case.

If realm cultivation stalled, one could simply enter closed-door cultivation for a long time, whereas physical cultivation required all sorts of opportunities. Fortunately,

his opportunities never ceased, and his physical strength had always remained above his realm. Walking on the glacial land of the Fifth Extreme,

the cold wind kept lashing at him. Initially, some thin ice would still form on Lin Moyu's body, but later on, not even thin ice would appear.

This meant he had completely adapted to the cold of the Fifth Extreme. Here, Lin Moyu once again sensed an ancient and powerful force.

This force was also sealed beneath the glacier, exactly like in the Fourth Extreme, except this force was even more powerful than the one in the Fourth Extreme.

"Just as I predicted. The further down the Nine Extremes Glacier one goes,"

"the stronger the sealed power is. Burn it to death. By this estimation,"

"the sealed power after the Seventh Extreme might very well exceed the Ninth Realm of Dao Venerable. At that time, will the World-Burning Fire…"

"…still be able to do it? The World-Burning Fire grows stronger the more it burns, so they will make perfect nourishment."

"To nurture the World-Burning Fire. If only my realm were a bit higher, it would probably be much easier."

The power of the World-Burning Fire depended on the degree of its nurturing, as well as Lin Moyu's own realm.

The method to nurture the World-Burning Fire was also very simple: let it burn high-level souls, growing stronger the more it consumed.

Lin Moyu began to search for the source. There were two ways to find it: one was through the Glacier Beasts,

and the other was to deploy the Undead Legion, using the Eye of the Undead to search. With a thought from Lin Moyu,

the space around him warped and distorted, and several Skeleton Kings flew out. Looking across the entire Undead Legion,

only the Skeleton Kings could barely survive here for an extended period. Enveloped in flames, the Skeleton Kings

dashed off in all directions. Soon, the Skeleton Kings encountered Glacier Beasts.

The Glacier Beasts here had combat power bordering the Dao Venerable 7th Realm. In a one-on-one fight, the Skeleton Kings were no match for them.

The Skeleton Kings did not fight the Glacier Beasts; instead, they directly lured them toward Lin Moyu's position, where he had already been waiting for a long time.
