Chapter 274: Strife
"There will be strife, but strife is not necessarily a bad thing!" Qin Ming said with a smile.
"A good thing?" Qin Qing blinked, looking at her brother in confusion, "How could strife be a good thing?"
"Peace is brought about by strife. Without strife, where would peace come from?" Qin Ming smiled and said.
Qin Qing shook her head in confusion. Since her brother said it was a good thing, then it must be a good thing.
"Young Master Qin!" Suddenly, a familiar voice came from the side.
A Disciple of the Huayu Sect ran over from the side. Seeing the Disciple, Qin Ming smiled and said, "Xiaoxu, what is the rush?"
"They've arrived. Elder Jue has brought ten Disciples to Chenyang City." The Disciple said, panting for breath.
Qin Ming had asked him to keep an eye out for Elder Jue, and to notify him immediately once Elder Jue arrived in Chenyang City.
"Good, the timing is just right!" Qin Ming laughed and stood up, "Qing'er, let's go. It's time to work."
Moqing Road in Chenyang City was a prosperous street where land was worth its weight in gold. However, a wealthy patron had recently appeared, sparing no expense to lease a Restaurant here.
The wealthy patron did not lack Spirit Stones and spent a large sum of money, completing the entire construction of the Restaurant in just seven days.
"Young Master!" There were two guards at the entrance of the Restaurant, who were quite respectful when they saw Qin Ming.
"Is Elder Jue inside?" Qin Ming asked.
"He is. Elder Jue just returned!" the guard said.
Qin Ming nodded and walked into the Restaurant with Qin Qing.
"Sect Master?" As soon as they entered the Restaurant, several Disciples saw Qin Ming and spoke respectfully.
Qin Ming nodded slightly at these Huayu Sect Disciples, "Not bad, you have all become Martial Ancestor experts!"
Hearing the Disciples' shouts, Jue Wuya, who was drinking tea upstairs, walked down, "Qin Ming!"
Qin Ming said happily, "I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly. I thought I would have to wait a few more days."
"As soon as these Disciples heard that they could leave the Sect and come to Chenyang City once they became a Martial Ancestor, they all Cultivated with their lives on the line, which is why they advanced so quickly." Jue Wuya said with a smile.
Normally, Qin Ming and Jue Wuya did not allow the Disciples to leave the Sect at will, fearing that their martial arts skills were too low and they would encounter danger.
"I didn't expect it! Our Huayu Sect has ten Disciples who are Martial Ancestors now. Thinking about it, time really flies!" Qin Ming sighed.
"How old are you to be feeling like time flies?" Jue Wuya laughed, "Don't you remember five months ago, when you revealed your true identity!"
"The Disciples all thought you were an old man; who would have thought that you were actually about the same age as them!
Seeing the Disciples' surprised expressions, I felt happy.
You're so young, yet you're already sighing about time? Isn't that a bit too early!"
Five months ago, Qin Ming had made his identity public.
This was only done after listening to Jue Wuya's suggestion; otherwise, given Qin Ming's personality, he probably would have kept it hidden forever.
However, Jue Wuya persuaded Qin Ming, saying there was no need for him to hide his identity.
Qin Ming felt that if his true identity became known to the Disciples, it might leak out.
Jue Wuya's words, however, dispelled Qin Ming's doubts.
Qin Ming still remembered what Jue Wuya said at the time. He said: "Qin Ming, I don't know what you are worried about?
First, these Disciples are incomparably loyal to you, even willing to sacrifice themselves for the Sect.
Second, the Disciples have absolutely no benefit in leaking your information.
Here with you, they have an endless supply of perfect elixir and an endless supply of Spirit Stones. What other benefit would tempt them to take the risk of leaking your secret?"
Hearing these words, Qin Ming thought about it from his own perspective and made his true identity public.
He now had the initial strength to protect himself.
"Indeed, I really shouldn't sigh about time!" Qin Ming said, "Nor should I hide my background. After all, a Martial Artist values courage, and I have been acting too cautiously!"
He was still a youth now, and those ten thousand plus years of history seemed to have faded away from him.
He was now the Young Master of the Qin Family and the Sect Master of the Huayu Sect, no longer the ten-thousand-year-old 'Emperor Ming'.
