Chapter 275
Before long, in the small palace, Xue Ning brought the Zombie Immortal while Rin brought Elaine over. After everyone finished listening to Qi Xing's explanation of the situation, their gazes couldn't help but fixate on Sasa's head.
It was one thing for Rin and Elaine to dislike this devil.
Xue Ning, no matter what, still felt some respect for her creator. She cautiously reached out to touch the vajra pestle on Sasa's head and asked with some worry, "White God, my Lord, does this hurt?"
"It doesn't really hurt, actually I don't feel anything at all…"
Before she could finish her sentence, Sasa's expression changed.
"…It seems to be starting to hurt."
"It's… it's getting a bit hot…"
For a moment, everyone fell silent.
Finally, Qi Xing said calmly, "It looks like, at the very least, she won't die anytime soon."
"So now, the key point we need to figure out is—who exactly is that Duo Chenzi?"
Up until now, Qi Xing had heard quite a bit of fragmented information about the ancient Devil Kings. Regarding the leader of the [Peacock Disciples], this self-proclaimed sage, he did indeed have some understanding.
But as for who she was "exactly," there still wasn't a very clear answer. Today, Qi Xing had to get a clear explanation no matter what.
Duo Chenzi continuously reincarnated in the Mortal world. With every Reincarnation, she would start a new sect, worshipping the creator Samael under various names and methods. Then what about her first life—the very first time she met Sasa, who exactly was she? What happened?
What exactly does she want to do?
"I heard you guys mention before that there's a very ancient religion in the Middle East that worships the Peacock Angel—a fallen devil."
After a sigh, Qi Xing continued to ask,
"Is that religion related to Duo Chenzi's first life?"
Sasa nodded obediently.
In the Middle East, there is an ancient ethnic group who call themselves Yazidi. Some believe they are the remnants of Zoroastrianism, others say they are heretics who worship the devil, but in the eyes of the Yazidi people, 'devil' is merely a slur given by Mortals.
In the hearts of the Yazidi people, the world was created by the supreme Heavenly God, but it is the angels who rule the earthly realm, the most important of whom is the Peacock Angel (Tawusi Melek).
He is not a fallen devil, but the first angel born bearing fire, the guardian of glory and dignity, ruling the earthly realm with iridescent wings. Every night, the Yazidi people light oil lamps, sprinkle water from sacred springs on stone steps, and chant songs passed down through generations.
These prayers, festivals, and rituals are all expressions of loyalty and awe toward the Lord of the Earthly Realm, the Peacock Angel.
The scriptures of Yazidism are incomplete; most of their teachings are passed down orally, with Elders teaching the faith through songs, parables, and rituals from generation to generation. Therefore, their religion often appears vague and mysterious.
Outsiders accuse them of being 'children of the devil,' while they themselves believe that those who worship that sole Heavenly God are the ones in error, and the Peacock Angel is their true Lord and savior.
Perhaps because of this, it is difficult for outsiders to understand them. For centuries, they have been misunderstood as 'devil worshippers' and driven out by monotheistic religions. But in their own eyes, they are simply holding fast to the ancient covenant with the Peacock Angel, guarding the Holy Land and secrets left by their ancestors.
Yes, like many religions, this religion also has an ancient Saint.
That Saint's name was Sheikh Adi, who was a Sufi Elder in the 11th century.
But she is also the most important Saint in the Yazidism faith.
It is said that in her tomb, the walls whisper, and oil droplets seeping from the cracks in the stones are seen as the tears of angels. When pilgrims enter the valley under the moonlight, they often hear the phantom sound of feathers brushing past, a sign of the Peacock Angel's patrol.
In the tradition of Yazidism, she is regarded as the Incarnation of the Peacock Angel.
…Sasa's Incarnation (laughs).
Of course, this couldn't be true; Sasa has no Incarnations.
But if one were to say this was Duo Chenzi's self-proclamation, it would be very easy to understand.
"She began her Reincarnations from the eastern shore of the Mediterranean, moving eastward all the way, reincarnating and establishing new sects."
"Duo Chenzi, as well as the eastern religions that worship The Unborn Venerable Mother, are likely her final products."
Throughout this journey of Reincarnation, she helped Sasa create many names, and in a way, brought many believers from different eras to Sasa's various names.
But what was the point of doing this? Sasa isn't the kind of weak god of faith. A true creator cannot be resurrected just by absorbing some Power Of Faith.
…So, did Duo Chenzi gather this Power Of Will for herself?
If viewed through the narrative mode of Yazidism, who is the real 'Duo Chenzi'? It's clearly Sasa herself, isn't it?
"…Qi Xing, it's really starting to hurt more and more."
Gradually, Sasa's expression became more and more pained, and her look grew increasingly tense.
"And, it feels like some strange sensations are starting to flow in…"
This didn't sound good at all.
"…Old Ancestor."
Left with no choice, Qi Xing turned to look at the Zombie Immortal held by Xue Ning. He naturally wouldn't call her mother, but instead used the tone from back when he was still in the cultivation clan.
"This is your god after all, the genuine Unborn Venerable Mother."
"Out of respect for her, if you know what Duo Chenzi actually wants to do to Sasa, please tell me."
"…Xu'er, even if The Unborn Venerable Mother is by your side now, even if the Count of St. Germain serves you, Yaobikuni has been defeated by you, and even the [King of Hell]'s daughter attends to you,"
The Zombie Immortal hesitated for a moment, but she didn't answer directly, instead whispering,
"You might not necessarily be able to overcome Ancestral Master Duo Chenzi."
"Because what the Ancestral Master relies on is not just strength. In fact, she isn't stronger than the first-born Devil King, let alone being able to deal with the [King of Hell] through brute force."
"Ancestral Master Duo Chenzi's brilliance has always been that she is very clever."
Very clever.
…Very clever?
…Fine, Qi Xing would take her word for it for now.
"Then in what way is she clever?"
"The Ancestral Master didn't plan to collect all thirty [silver coins] to win, because that is basically impossible. The number of [silver coins] held by the ancient first-born Devil King is too great; as for the [King of Hell], how could he be an opponent one can win against?"
The Zombie Immortal explained in a low voice,
"…The Ancestral Master intends to use the Samsara Disk and the White God Mother as mediums to reenact the process of Jesus of Nazareth on the cross, seizing the Dominator's power over the world, rewriting the Law of Karma, and defeating the White God Mother."
What?
"In other words, making the White God Mother feel a despair immense enough to cover the entire world, and the immense pain corresponding to that despair."
The Zombie Immortal looked worriedly at Sasa and the vajra pestle on her head, which was getting hotter and causing her more pain.
"Having the White God Mother, as a god, endure an equal amount of suffering; while the Ancestral Master, as a human, loves all of humanity in this world unconditionally and without resentment—this is the ritual the Ancestral Grandmother planned to skip the [silver coins] and sit directly upon the divine throne."

Shot down from space, Duo Chenzi flew with the momentum,
Crossing ten thousand miles, she finally arrived beneath a continuous range of mountains in the East.
Looking down from the sky, one could see in the infinite distance that within those continuous mountains, there were sky-piercing peaks everywhere, straight as arrows. Some peaks were covered in blooming flowers and many palaces had been built upon them.
Countless thousand-foot waterfalls poured down from the peaks, like countless jade dragons.
The sky was a washed azure, forever without a single dark cloud. The sun shone brightly, its soft and brilliant light illuminating the scene, making it spotlessly clean.
Upon those hundreds and thousands of peaks, pine trees with gnarled roots and spreading branches displayed an aura of primordial antiquity.
And deeper within those peaks, amidst the drifting mist, pavilions and terraces could be faintly seen floating like a mirage, making one believe they had arrived in the Immortal Realm.
This scene, like a heavenly palace's wondrous landscape, went without saying—
It was naturally the Small World Duo Chenzi had personally created when she previously ascended into the [Dream of All Living Beings].
Ever since the moon shattered and the human world's perception of the supernatural was altered, she had dragged the small Immortal Realm she created in the [Dream of All Living Beings] into the Mortal world.
With a loud laugh, she flew back into the pavilion at the mountain top. Young Daoists dressed in feather robes hurriedly came forward to welcome the Ancestral Master back.
But among them was a red-haired, broad-shouldered man dressed in fine clothes—silver-threaded robes embroidered with strange flowers, silk, velvet, and brocade—clearly not a practitioner of the Dao. However, the aura on his body, the power overflowing from him, and his respectful yet not-so-servile attitude toward Duo Chenzi—all showed that he was no mere Daoist boy.
Instead, like Xue Ning and the others, he was one of the leaders among the [Peacock Disciples], a direct Disciple of Duo Chenzi.
His face and features made him look like a Slav.
"Sage."
Lowering his head, he spoke to Duo Chenzi with great reverence,
"You seem to be in a very good mood. Was the plan successful?"
"Unexpected progress, Kaschei."
Duo Chenzi smiled slightly, her mood indeed appearing very pleasant.
"The Samsara Pestle has already been struck into our creator, the White God."
She lay down languidly on a long couch in the pavilion, extending her fair, bare feet. The man named Kaschei immediately held them devoutly, as if holding fragile and precious works of art, pressing his cheek against them and single-mindedly wiping every toe.
At first glance, such a scene looked like abnormal perverted behavior. However, Kaschei's fearful and trembling expression showed that this was not the case.
In the eyes of this tall, broad-shouldered man, there was only awe for the young girl. This was a service of devotion for his Master, for a superior.
"Heh, hehehe—hahahaha!"
Duo Chenzi let out a giggle as if unable to contain her amusement.
"Don't be so nervous, Kaschei. In just a few more days, this world will no longer have its current pain and fear."
What exactly did these words mean?
What exactly did Duo Chenzi want to do?
Actually, it wasn't that complicated.
Hundreds of years ago, when she was still Sheikh Adi, the Saint of Yazidism in the Middle East, she had once obtained a [Dominator] silver coin and heard Samael's words from within it.
Samael told her a lot back then, revealing many secrets of this world—perhaps a bit too much. So much so that when she delved into the supreme secret arts to the extreme and was able to visualize the Laws that constitute the world for the first time, she knew exactly whose will determined the Laws and the Law of Karma of this world.
The Lawgiver.
Who was the Lawgiver?
Naturally, it was the White God Samael before being defeated by Jesus of Nazareth, and the Black God Jesus after defeating Samael.
To personally rewrite this world—that was the ultimate ambition harbored by the Sage Archmage who had gained world-shaking wisdom.
How could the world be rewritten? By collecting the thirty [silver coins]? That was an obvious method, but unfortunately, she couldn't do it. Not only did she fail to collect the [silver coins], she instead lost to the oldest first-born Devil King and lost her [Dominator] silver coin.
The oldest first-born Devil King was a Roman from the 1st century AD, a contemporary of Jesus, the former leader of the Hermes Society, and once the Great Grandmaster of all the world's mages. Having the advantage of being close to the source, not to mention having a thousand-year head start, the [silver coins] in his hands were far too many, and his power was far too strong.
In a direct head-on collision, Duo Chenzi simply couldn't beat him. Fans of Eight-Tailed Cat, the latest chapter of "breaker of the inner world" has been released!
After losing the [Dominator] silver coin, from the time she reincarnated into her second life, Duo Chenzi began to think of a way to win through wit.
Is it absolutely necessary to collect all thirty [silver coins] to change this Universe?
Not necessarily, right?
The reason the [Descender] Jesus could exert Divine Power beyond the creator in this Universe was certainly not by relying on the creator's own power.
Duo Chenzi soon turned her mind in this direction as well.
Over nearly a thousand years, she prepared a great secret ritual to change the Laws of the Universe.
Today, she finally struck the Samsara Pestle into her creator's head.
The ritual has begun.
The massive [Samsara] disk began to manifest above the small Immortal Realm, rotating slowly.
The Souls of those who died tragic deaths, accumulated by Duo Chenzi over nearly a thousand years, began to pour into it, crushed one by one by the [Samsara] disk.
How terrifying! The scene was just like throwing people one by one into a witch's cauldron, boiling them until they melted!
Taking this as the catalyst, an irreversible force that would trample everything began to activate. Gears of evil techniques composed of Demonic Path Laws and malice beyond human wisdom began to turn silently over this small Immortal Realm.
The anomaly first appeared in the sky.
Directly above, at an altitude of several thousand meters, a massive 'hole' suddenly appeared. The pitch-black abyss was like a vortex spinning above the zenith, distorting the surrounding space.
That was a breach opened in the physical world leading to the heavens. The other side of the breach did not, in the proper sense, belong to this world. It was an abyss where the root power of a higher-order Universe surged. It was adjacent to this three-dimensional ground, connected to it.
The bottom of the abyss was ruled by Chaos. All things were formless, and all energy was melted into a single state, flowing within it just as it was before the Big Bang. That was why it was called the root power.
And if someone were to peer into that abyss, they would see within it the figure of a young girl being punished on a cross.
The upper half of the girl's fair face was covered by overgrown black thorns. They encircled her small head like a crown, piercing her eyes and causing blood-tears to roll down continuously.
