Chapter 31: Amazing Hunting Efficiency
"Click!"
The door was locked from the inside.
"Hiss…"
Su Lang took a breath, and with a thought, he activated Clone Dispatch.
Silently, a naked man appeared before Su Lang; its appearance was very natural, as if it had been there all along.
"Tsk, tsk…"
Su Lang circled the Clone, looking it up and down, continuously making tsking sounds.
This Clone was exactly the same as him, down to the number of hairs.
The only difference was the eyes—or more precisely, the gleam within them.
Unlike Su Lang's clear and spirited eyes, the Clone's pupils were filled with chaos and killing intent.
"Fantastic, simply fantastic!"
Su Lang couldn't help but clap in admiration.
If someone were to see this, they would probably think he had some peculiar hobby.
Immediately after, Su Lang recalled the Clone and went to the clothing store outside.
He planned to buy some clothes for himself and the Clone; after all, since the Clone looked exactly like him, staying naked all the time would ruin his image!
After some selection, Su Lang bought a few cool-looking black hooded robes.
Before leaving, the shopkeeper gave Su Lang a few white masks and flashed a "I understand you" smile.
Needless to say, the shopkeeper must have thought Su Lang was about to do something shady.
Su Lang didn't mind and went to a weapon shop, spending 10 gold coins to buy an Advanced Ordinary-Rank Tang Dao as a weapon for the Clone.
Above Ordinary-Rank weapons were Elementary Spirit Weapons. When Su Lang was choosing a weapon, he took a glance at them, and the price of a full 3,000 gold coins made him click his tongue in secret.
"With that kind of money, I'd rather upgrade the System functions!"
Su Lang curled his lips, left the weapon shop, and returned to the hotel.
"Come, come, put this on!"
Under Su Lang's command, the Clone put on the clothes and the mask.
"Tsk, tsk, it really has the vibe of a killer!"
Looking at the black-robed, white-masked Clone, Su Lang smiled with satisfaction. He then thought to send it out and accepted the Clone's sensory input.
Somewhere in the F-Rank Wind Wolf area, the black-robed Clone appeared silently.
Immediately, a Tang Dao appeared in its hand, which Su Lang had transmitted to it via "Item Transfer."
At this moment, a rustling sound came from not far away, and a giant grayish-white wolf emerged from the bushes.
This giant grey wolf with sharp claws and fangs was an F-Rank Vicious Beast—a Wind Wolf.
"Roar—!"
Upon seeing the black-robed Clone, the Wind Wolf roared angrily, its eyes turning red as it pounced.
This Wind Wolf was extremely vicious, but the black-robed Clone had the exact same strength as Su Lang and was a being capable of rivaling a Formal Martial Artist!
"Swish!"
A flash of blade light swept past, the Wind Wolf's massive head flew into the sky, and its body crashed to the ground.
The next moment, the Wind Wolf's corpse vanished into thin air.
On Su Lang's side.
"Ding! You have obtained Wind Wolf Claws *4, Wind Wolf Fangs *4, Wind Wolf Meat *10, Wind Wolf Fur *1…"
Su Lang hurriedly checked his Storage Space and discovered that the Wind Wolf's corpse had been perfectly dissected; every valuable Materials had been preserved, with nothing wasted.
"Fantastic! Just the automatic processing of the corpse saves me a huge amount of trouble."
Su Lang smiled brightly.
One had to know that processing Vicious Beast corpses required skill; otherwise, one might accidentally damage the Materials, leading to a decrease in value or even destruction.
"Roar!"
"Awoo!"
At the black-robed Clone's location, the drifting scent of blood seemed to have spread, and two Wind Wolves followed the scent and found it.
The black-robed Clone didn't hesitate; with a twist of its wrist and a flash of blade light, the two Wind Wolves were turned into corpses in an instant.
"Ding! You have obtained Wind Wolf Claws *8, Wind Wolf Fangs *7, Wind Wolf Meat *18, Wind Wolf Fur *2…"
F-Rank Wind Wolves, depending on their Rank, had Materials worth between 20 and 50 silver coins.
Although the Materials Su Lang harvested varied in Rank, their quality was perfect, with each Wind Wolf averaging a value of 40 silver coins.
In other words, in just that short amount of time, Su Lang had harvested several gold coins!
One had to know that if ordinary Body Tempering practitioners didn't risk their lives hunting, they wouldn't even earn 1 gold coin in monthly wages!
Of course, Wind Wolves were not endless, and Su Lang's Clone just happened to run into a group of them.
However, even so, the hunting efficiency of Su Lang's Clone was much faster than that of ordinary Body Tempering practitioners, and it could harvest at least dozens of gold coins every day.
The most crucial point was that other hunters had to risk their lives to earn that money, with many expenses along the way, making it hard-earned blood and sweat money.
While Su Lang could get these little cuties just by sitting, lying down, or taking a nap!
