Chapter 331: Wang Yang’s Distress

Without a second thought, he answered the phone directly.

After all, it was a call from General Manager Chen; how could he afford to be negligent?

"General Manager Chen, what are your instructions?"

"…"

"Alright, I understand, General Manager Chen."

He hung up the phone.

Wei Yan couldn't help but marvel. He had just been considering the issue of insufficient funds, and he hadn't expected General Manager Chen to call first and add 30 million in project investment.

General Manager Chen was truly impressive.

He estimated that every move their project team made was being watched by General Manager Chen.

That must be why he called immediately to add investment the moment they encountered funding issues.

Looking up and noticing the gazes of Lu Ren, Xu Yuan, and the others, he smiled slightly.

"There is no need to worry about the project funds anymore. General Manager Chen just called and added 30 million in project funds for our project team."

"Everyone, you don't need to worry about the project funding issue. Our project team has always been under the watchful eye of General Manager Chen, so just focus on making this game well."

"Let's end today's meeting here. Meeting adjourned."

As Wei Yan spoke, he stood up and left directly.

Inside the meeting room.

Xu Yuan, Lu Ren, and the others looked at each other in surprise.

They had just been discussing the possibility of insufficient project funds, and they hadn't expected General Manager Chen to add 30 million in project funds so quickly.

General Manager Wei was likely right; their project team had always been under the watchful eye of General Manager Chen.

Thinking of this, the group reflected for a moment, confirming that they hadn't been slacking off during work, and only then did they feel at ease.

They also firmly made up their minds to work even harder in the future.

…

Mingri Group.

Presidents Office.

Chen Mo looked at the phone that had already hung up, feeling a bit puzzled.

Had this Wei Yan changed his nature?

He remembered that whenever he asked the other party to spend some money in the past, they would always have something to say.

Either they would say it didn't need that much, or that it could be cheaper.

But this time it was unexpectedly different; after he finished talking about adding investment, they didn't say anything at all and agreed very readily.

He had prepared a lot of words to deal with Wei Yan, but it turned out to be a waste of effort.

However, this was just as well; it saved him the trouble of wasting his breath.

Chen Mo thought to himself, then pressed the call button to notify the finance department to add 30 million in project funds to Wei Yan's project team.

After finishing all this, he finally let out a sigh of relief.

No matter what, he had finally found a way to spend that over 100 million in System Funds.

Now that the remaining System Funds were left, as long as he kept an eye on them, there should basically be no issues.

After all, when it came to hundreds of thousands or millions, in this huge company, if he really wanted to spend it, there were still ways.

Therefore, as long as there were no large amounts of income this time, this special mission should basically be fine.

He also didn't know what the reward for this special mission was.

Would it unlock some more permissions?

Chen Mo thought secretly; what he was looking forward to more was if it would reward him with tens of millions in personal assets.

…

Cheng Lin Decoration,

Wang Yang sat in his office with a distressed expression; his heart was very conflicted right now.

If one were to talk about business ability, he was probably the worst in the company, because up to now, he had only taken on orders from one person.

But if one were to talk about performance, his single client's orders were already more than the performance of everyone else in the company combined.

With the coffee shop in the capital entering the renovation phase, he had already pre-booked the quarterly sales championship.

Oh!

He probably couldn't be judged for the sales championship, because his current position was no longer a designer, but a supervisor.

Ever since General Manager Chen handed the renovation of the coffee shop in the capital to him, he had been directly promoted to the supervisor level by the management of Cheng Lin Decoration, and he no longer had to be in the employee studio but had his own personal office.

However, although he was already a supervisor, he was still somewhat unwilling to give up; he really wanted to take on a renovation order from someone other than General Manager Chen.

So during this period, he had gone out to run business a few times himself, but the final result was the same: he didn't receive a single order.

Sigh!

Could he only take orders from General Manager Chen?

Knock, knock, knock!

A knock on the door came.

Soon, he saw Supervisor Qi Bu walk in.

"Brother Qi, is something the matter?"

Wang Yang asked.

However, he basically already had the answer in his heart; during this period, apart from the coffee shop business in the capital, he hadn't received any other renovation orders from General Manager Chen.

This Supervisor Qi Bu often asked him to contact General Manager Chen and ask about renovation matters.

But renovation wasn't something you could just ask for and get.

Moreover, he always felt that asking like that wasn't very good, so he had never asked.

Supervisor Qi Bu smiled and waved his hand, then sat down opposite Wang Yang.

"Wang Yang, do you have any plans today?"

"Yes, I have. I've contacted a client and am preparing to go take measurements to see if I can secure this order."

Wang Yang said.

Regarding taking orders, he didn't want to give up; he felt that as long as he visited a few more places, he would definitely be able to secure a renovation order.

"Wang Yang, it's not that I want to criticize you, but you're already a supervisor in the company; why are you still thinking about orders? Leave the order-running to those designers. Besides, those small orders aren't worth running for; if you're going to run, run for big orders."

"Have you contacted that General Manager Chen? Are there any new renovation orders recently? Let me tell you, clients need to be maintained. Although General Manager Chen is giving the renovation orders to you now, if you don't maintain the relationship, who knows when he might give the renovation orders to someone else."

"So, don't run for those other orders anymore, lest you lose the big for the small. Go to General Manager Chen's company more often and build a relationship with him."

Supervisor Qi Bu said step by step.

Hearing Supervisor Qi Bu's words, Wang Yang thought to himself: "As expected."

He then smiled bitterly.

"Brother Qi, to be honest, I'm not actually very familiar with General Manager Chen; we've only met a few times."

"If I go over there rashly all the time, I'm afraid it will cause resentment."

"You've only met a few times? Is that true or false?"

Supervisor Qi Bu looked at Wang Yang with some suspicion. Having only met a few times and then handing all those orders to you to do—no matter how you think about it, it seems a bit unreasonable.

If Wang Yang were a beautiful woman, it might be possible.

"It's true!"

Wang Yang nodded. The number of times he had met with General Manager Chen could be counted on one hand.

This…

Supervisor Qi Bu was stunned looking at Wang Yang's serious expression. He suddenly didn't understand; they hadn't met much, so why did he hand so many orders to you?

But no matter what,

This General Manager Chen was a big client and couldn't be given up easily.

"Just because you haven't met much in the past doesn't mean it will be the same in the future. From now on, you should contact General Manager Chen more. Look, apart from the order in the capital, he hasn't given you any orders here in Jiangcheng for a long time. Maybe he's already given the orders to someone else."

"Why don't you go today…"

Before Supervisor Qi Bu could finish his sentence, Wang Yang's phone suddenly rang.

"Hmm, you answer the phone first."

Supervisor Qi Bu pointed at Wang Yang's phone.
