Chapter 357: The Gap Between a Martial Emperor and a Martial King

In a tea room of the Huayu Sect, Qin Ming and Jue Wuya sat opposite each other.

"Did you get injured in the battle with the Martial King this time?" Jue Wuya hadn't been able to ask in front of the Disciples, but now that they were alone in the tea room, he couldn't help but ask.

Qin Ming nodded heavily. "I was almost pierced through the heart by a sword. That Black-Clothed Martial King is truly insidious."

Then, Qin Ming recounted the details of the battle to Jue Wuya.

The reason Qin Ming told Jue Wuya in detail was to put him on high alert. This group of Martial Artists with scorpion patterns were very strange, and since Jue Wuya was following him, he would likely have to fight them as well.

Sharing intelligence about these Martial Artists with scorpion patterns would also benefit Jue Wuya in future battles.

Jue Wuya listened intently to the account of Qin Ming's battle and fell into deep thought.

After a moment, Jue Wuya asked, "That Black-Clothed Martial King also had a scorpion pattern on him?"

"Yes!" Qin Ming said solemnly. "Not only that, I also found this in his space ring." As he spoke, Qin Ming pulled out a golden plaque and handed it to Jue Wuya.

This plaque was the same as the two Qin Ming had obtained before, only the color was different.

"I've never seen this material before." Jue Wuya toyed with the plaque for a moment before returning it to Qin Ming. "Do you know what material this plaque is made of?"

"I don't know. I haven't found any other use for it; it seems to be just an identity token. However, its hardness is extremely high. Even with my full strength, I couldn't damage it," Qin Ming said solemnly.

"Oh?" Jue Wuya was surprised. Qin Ming's peak strength was at the level of a Martial King, yet even he couldn't damage it. One could imagine the hardness of the plaque.

"That's not the key point. The key is whether there are higher Ranks above it," Qin Ming said worriedly. "If there are plaques of other colors, what would the strength of their holders be?

It would be disastrous if it were a Martial Emperor. A Martial Emperor can fly, and wiping out our Qin Family would be a breeze. We would have no choice but to fight to the death."

If the Black-Clothed Martial King hadn't been poisoned beforehand, Qin Ming felt he might not have been a match for him, especially with the insidious Moves the opponent used, which had caused him a great deal of trouble.

As for dealing with a Martial Emperor, even if Qin Ming refined a seventh-grade poison pill, it would be useless.

With a Martial Emperor flying high in the sky, how could Qin Ming poison them? He wouldn't even be able to track their movements.

Although a Martial King is powerful, compared to a Martial Emperor, they are worlds apart. Qin Ming was a Martial Emperor in his previous life and knew their terror. One could say that a Martial Emperor is a Martial Artist on an entirely different level. Compared to those below the Martial Emperor Realm, they don't even seem like the same species. It is a gap that transcends the level of life itself.

"Even with the Pill God Physique, reaching the Martial Emperor Realm is not that easy!" Qin Ming speculated. "A Great Martial Master must undergo five rounds of reconstruction and use the Pill God Physique to become a Martial King. To become a Martial Emperor, one would likely need to reach the Martial Ancestor Realm and undergo reconstruction ten times, or perhaps even reach the Martial Spirit Realm to achieve it. The gap between a Martial Emperor and a Martial King is just too vast!"

"Martial Emperor, Martial Emperor," Jue Wuya sighed. "A Martial Emperor can fly. I so wish I could reach that Realm to see for myself."

Qin Ming smiled. "Don't worry, you will definitely reach the Martial Emperor Realm."

Qin Ming knew Jue Wuya's Talent from his previous life. Becoming a Martial Emperor would be a piece of cake for him; it was only a matter of time.

"By the way, is there any intelligence from the Qixin Sect?" Qin Ming asked. Now that he had killed the Qixin Sect's strongest Martial King, there was nothing left in the Qixin Sect for him to worry about. He might as well take this opportunity to wipe out the entire Qixin Sect.

Although he suspected the Qixin Sect might not be related to the Scorpion Faction, the Qixin Sect was already hostile toward the Qin Family. Furthermore, Qin Ming had killed several of the Qixin Sect's Martial Spirits. Logically and emotionally, the Qixin Sect would never let him off.

Moreover, Qin Ming still didn't know the specific relationship between the Black-Clothed Martial King and the Qixin Sect's Sect Master. Although Qin Ming hadn't sensed any special aura from the Qixin Sect Master, it was possible that while the Qixin Sect wasn't comprised of that Demon God's people, they might have business dealings with him.

In that case, the Qixin Sect would likely be determined to deal with his Qin Family. Furthermore, Qin Ming had obtained the qixin grass. Although the Qixin Sect hadn't seen it in his hands, they could very likely guess.

After all, Qin Ming had caused trouble in the Qixin Sect's Secret Realm multiple times using the same Martial Skills. It wouldn't be surprising if the Qixin Sect's Sect Master guessed it was him.

A single ninth-grade spirit plant is worth a fortune. Even if the Qixin Sect allied with other Sects to deal with him, Qin Ming wouldn't find it strange.
