Chapter 37

Several examiners showed expressions of disappointment, "Sigh, this lousy rule, even we aren't allowed to watch."

"Exactly, the fifth round of the exam is the most exciting part, yet they won't let us watch it."

"Our clearance only allows us to see the changes in points so that we can make judgments."

"Lord Ning, can you watch it?"

Several examiners looked at Ning Xuanfeng simultaneously, their eyes filled with anticipation.

They were truly itching with curiosity, especially wanting to see Lin Moyu's performance in the fifth round.

Ning Xuanfeng swept his gaze over them, his voice indifferent, "I cannot watch it either."

The examiners were immediately shocked, "Even you cannot watch it?"

"Then what kind of person is required to view it?"

Ning Xuanfeng nodded, "Within the Shenxia Empire, there are no more than ten people who have the authority to view the video of the fifth round of the Grand Exam."

The examiners were even more astonished.

No more than ten people; they didn't even dare to imagine what kind of big shots those were.

Ning Xuanfeng continued, "Anyway, remember this: this is not something you should be asking about. I'm only telling you a few extra words today because I'm in a good mood."

"Understood, understood!"

"Rest assured, we certainly won't ask."

The examiners were not fools; they all realized that the matter was definitely not simple.

But even if they were given the courage, they wouldn't dare to ask now.

In the entire Shenxia Empire, there were no more than 10 people with this authority.

Just hearing about it was scary enough.

The Battle Space was very vast, a huge plain.

The ground was pitch black and emitted a smell of blood.

There were countless scattered rocks, some of which were several meters high.

Such an environment gave the Professionals room to maneuver.

Lin Moyu's nose twitched slightly, "The smell of blood is very strong, and it is filled with death energy; this place has experienced an unimaginable battle."

As a Necromancer, Lin Moyu was particularly sensitive to death energy.

Whether it was the West Sea Mine Dungeon or the previous rounds of exams.

There was no death energy present in them.

This place was different.

It was truly shrouded in death energy.

A real life-and-death battle had occurred here, and on a large scale.

Blood had soaked into the earth, staining it dark brown, and the smell of blood had not dissipated for years.

"Is this meant to let us experience the battlefield in advance?"

Footsteps sounded, and a squad of monsters appeared in his line of sight.

Chapter 49: What exactly did Lin Moyu do?

They were at least fifty or sixty meters away.

This group of monsters had already discovered Lin Moyu.

The monsters let out roars simultaneously and charged toward Lin Moyu.

Ten monsters, not a large number.

Lin Moyu watched them, and a Detection Spell had already flown out.

[Feline Orc Warrior]

[Level: 15]

There was no more information.

No attributes, no skills.

This was the first time the Detection Spell had provided so little feedback.

Lin Moyu saw that the Feline Orc Warriors all had long tails dragging behind them.

Every Feline Orc Warrior was tall, and combined with their appearance, they looked like giant lizards.

Giant lizards that could walk upright.

The roars echoed throughout the Battle Space, attracting the attention of other Feline Orcs.

Suddenly, several squads of Feline Orcs appeared in Lin Moyu's line of sight.

If it were another Professional, they would likely have collided with the nearest wave of Feline Orcs.

They would unleash their skills to wipe out a few, then retreat when they formed an encirclement to engage in maneuvering combat.

Once surrounded, the outcome would be imaginable.

However, this tactic suited others, but not Lin Moyu.

The three Skeleton Warriors standing by his side responded and rushed toward the Feline Orcs.

With blades rising and falling, the few Feline Orcs at the front were immediately severely injured.

After taking a slash, the Feline Orcs were on the verge of death, but they hadn't truly died.

They still had a sliver of vitality left.

"Huh? Didn't manage to one-shot them."

"These attributes…"

The Skeleton Warriors failing to one-shot the Feline Orcs surprised Lin Moyu slightly.

The Feline Orcs' Constitution attribute was not low.

Their attacks landed on the Skeleton Warriors but failed to inflict much damage on them.

This meant their Strength was not high.

This was a monster type with high Constitution but weak Strength.

Lin Moyu had formed a judgment.

If one slash wasn't enough, then two would do.

A Feline Orc fell to the ground with a scream and died.

Lin Moyu's points also changed in an instant.

They went from 3605 to 3655 points.

Although the control room couldn't see the footage of the fifth round of the test, they could see the changes in points.

"Lin Moyu has made a move."

"He killed one, very fast."

Then the points jumped again, directly from 3655 to 4105.

This change gave the examiners a big fright.

They looked at each other, not knowing what had happened.

How could it suddenly increase by so much?

The Skeleton Warrior killed this Feline Orc Warrior, and Lin Moyu immediately followed up with Corpse Explosion.

With a loud explosion, this group of Feline Orcs was wiped out.

The 10 Feline Orcs added 500 points to Lin Moyu's score.

Then, Lin Moyu didn't take further action but waited for the remaining Feline Orcs to arrive.

Since they would charge over, why should he bother going to them?

There were still 9 corpses here; once they arrived, he could just use Corpse Explosion.

But the next second, Lin Moyu was surprised to find that the corpses were gone.

The corpses seemed to have sunk into the pitch-black earth and disappeared.

The corpses existed for a very short time, no more than 10 seconds.

"To think it would be like this."

"It seems the plan needs to be slightly adjusted."

Watching the Feline Orc squads running over from all directions, Lin Moyu released several more Skeleton Warriors.

He released a total of 9 Skeleton Warriors, assigning one to each squad.

The Skeleton Warriors, making clicking sounds, proactively met them and then led the Feline Orc squads in a run.

It was like dragging monsters, gradually gathering them all together.

Two minutes later, the pulling of monsters was complete.

Nearly a hundred Feline Orcs had gathered together.

The Skeleton Warriors acted simultaneously, instantly one-shotting one Feline Orc.

The roaring sound exploded instantly.

In just a short three seconds, Lin Moyu used Corpse Explosion seven or eight times.

The pitch-black earth shook incessantly.

All Feline Orc Warriors were slaughtered.

Lin Moyu's points reached 8605 in an instant.

The Trial Tower's control room became lively again.

"What exactly did Lin Moyu do?"

"Why did his points increase by so much all of a sudden?"

"Heaven knows, we can't see what's happening in the Battle Space."

"But Lin Moyu was at 3605 points before, and now he is at 8605, which is exactly an increase of 5000 points."

"All I can say is that the first batch of 100 monsters has been wiped out by him. As for how he did it, I don't know."

The examiners looked at each other.

Looking at one another.

Looking at others' scores, they really couldn't figure it out.

After all, Lin Moyu was just a 16-year-old kid; no matter how strong his skills were, how strong could they be?

Wiping out 100 monsters in one go, just thinking about it felt incredible.

Like the Elemental Mage who was good at crowd control, Xia Xue's points were rising by 50 or 100 at a time.

How could it be like Lin Moyu, jumping by 5000 in a few minutes?

Who would believe it if told?

Ning Xuanfeng was much calmer than the examiners, but his eyelids were twitching.

Even with his experience, he could hardly imagine how Lin Moyu had done it.

"What exactly did this kid do?"

"What kind of profession is a Necromancer, really?"

"Where exactly is his limit?"

A question after another arose in Ning Xuanfeng's heart.
