Chapter 375 Qin Dao Elder

Su Yu heard this and asked, "Which Sect? I've also investigated the situations of many Sects, but I haven't found a satisfactory one yet."

Ling Wanqing smiled and said, "It's the Star Ocean Sect."

"Star Ocean Sect?"

Ling Wanqing then described the situation of the Star Ocean Sect to Su Yu.

Ling Wanqing looked at Su Yu with a hint of anticipation, "How is it? I think it's very good. The environment there is even better than where you were in the Southern Region."

Su Yu nodded and said, "Then I'll listen to you. Let's go and take a look."

Su Yu knew the plan was a success. The next step was to become an Elder of the Star Ocean Sect.

Ling Wanqing and Su Yu then left the city, which was the first one they had arrived at, and headed towards the Star Ocean Sect.

Although this Sect was not in the central area of the Spirit Domain, it was not very far from it, making it convenient to travel there.

After all, many events happen in the center of the Spirit Domain, as do the activities organized by the various great Sects.

After a period of travel, the two finally neared the Star Ocean Sect.

Upon arriving in this area, the surrounding scenery underwent a complete transformation.

It felt like being in a fairyland.

Su Yu sighed, "It's truly beautiful here."

Ling Wanqing looked around, "I told you, it's very beautiful here."

"Let's go. We'll investigate the reputation of the Linghai Sect in the outer areas."

The two then went to the vicinity to begin their investigation and observe the behavior of some Star Ocean Sect Disciples.

After a period of investigation, the Star Ocean Sect had an excellent reputation in the vicinity, and it often helped the surrounding people with many things.

The crucial point was that whenever people from the Demonic Path appeared, they would arrive at the scene immediately.

These things also proved that the overall quality of this Sect was very good.

Su Yu did not like Sects that, despite being a single entity, were constantly embroiled in internal strife. He preferred the comfort of a Sect like this.

Su Yu and Ling Wanqing were preparing to run for the position of Qin Dao Elder this time.

In the hundred years they spent, their outer Qin Dao had already reached the Realm of Qin Intent.

Having reached Qin Intent, they already possessed sufficient qualifications, and the duo's combined performance was something ordinary people could not compare to.

If the two were to unleash their full power, they would be unrivaled.

Moreover, Qin Dao Elders were relatively few.

The two had also considered this point; although their greatest strength was the Dao of the Sword, they rarely had the opportunity to use it.

Su Yu and Ling Wanqing then arrived at the main gate of the Star Ocean Sect.

The two were quickly stopped.

"Do the two of you have business with our Star Ocean Sect?"

Su Yu spoke, "We are Loose Cultivators, but we have long admired your Sect and wish to join the Star Ocean Sect."

Upon hearing this, the guard said, "Then the two of you, please wait a moment. I will now notify the Elder in charge of this matter within the Sect to come."

Not long after, an old man with an otherworldly demeanor appeared before Su Yu, possessing a cultivation of the Void Refining Stage.

The old man looked at the two in front of him, "You two are the ones who wish to join the Star Ocean Sect, correct? Please follow me."

Su Yu and Ling Wanqing then entered the Star Ocean Sect.

"My name is Xiang Mu."

"You can just call me Old Xiang. I am also responsible for helping with this test."

Su Yu and Ling Wanqing both greeted him as Old Xiang.

"Old man, I observe that both of you are at the Late stage of the Yuanying Realm. You can become Elders, but you must possess a special skill to be able to instruct the Disciples of our Sect."

"The two of us wish to become Qin Dao Elders. We have some research in the Dao of the Zither."

Upon hearing this, Xiang Mu said, "Oh? Qin Dao? That's truly excellent. Our Sect is indeed quite lacking in Elders in this area."

"In that case, please follow me to Qin Island."

"Let her decide your tests. I don't really study the Dao of the Zither."

"If it were the Dao of the Sword, I could test the two of you directly."

Su Yu and Ling Wanqing nodded.

The Star Ocean Sect had many islands, both floating and on the sea, which was one of its unique features.

Under Old Xiang's guidance, the two soon arrived at Qin Island. The atmosphere here was somewhat different from the outside, and the scenery, needless to say, was among the top tier within the Star Ocean Sect.

After all, Qin cultivators have very high demands on their environment.

Su Yu and Ling Wanqing saw many Disciples diligently studying Musical Talent (Qin) here.

Those who were still playing paid no attention to the arrival of the three.

However, some people did notice their arrival.

"These two seem unfamiliar, but the aura on them is not to be underestimated."

"Hey, what do you think they're here for? Could they be the new Qin Dao Elders?"

These people discussed amongst themselves.

Su Yu and his Dao Companion followed Old Xiang to a small courtyard.

At this moment, Old Xiang spoke, "Yun Niang, I've brought people here. These two wish to become Qin Dao Elders. You are responsible for testing and evaluating them."

At this moment, a gentle and elegant voice, quite melodious, came from within the small courtyard, "No wonder you, old fellow, would come to my place."

A figure walked out. The person who emerged also possessed a cultivation of the Void Refining Stage.

What met his eyes was an exquisitely beautiful face. Su Yu saw yet another beauty whose allure could overshadow the moon and put flowers to shame.

Her figure and demeanor were excellent. Although she was not as beautiful as the so-called Yun Yao Holy Matriarch, the difference was not significant.

Coupled with her profound mastery of the Dao of the Zither, it added much to her charm.

Ling Wanqing looked at Su Yu. She didn't know why, but in the past, Su Yu would also glance at women of this caliber.

However, as time passed, Ling Wanqing noticed that Su Yu gradually seemed to care less about these things, sometimes only glancing once and then looking away.

Of course, this was a good thing for her.

Yun Niang looked at the two, "Old Xiang, you've brought me two surprises today."

"Those people you brought before were all mediocre, with such limited skill, yet they wished to become Qin Dao Elders. It was simply wishful thinking."

"Their playing was an insult to my ears."

Old Xiang, upon hearing this, could only smile helplessly.

"These two are clearly different from the others. Their demeanor shows that they have considerable research in the Dao of the Zither. This is something that can only be accumulated over many years."

Yun Niang looked at the two, "You two, please follow me. The test is very simple. If my guess is correct, you two should be Dao Companions, right?"

Su Yu nodded.

"Very well, then the two of you just need to play your most proficient piece for me to hear."

Su Yu and Ling Wanqing nodded. After setting up their qins, the two did not hesitate. Their hearts had long since become one.

As the two played, the sound of the zither resonated throughout the area.

Their performance was like celestial music, and for a moment, Yun Niang was also somewhat shocked.

"Old Xiang, it seems you've truly brought two excellent individuals this time."

"This is even better than I imagined."

After the piece ended, Yun Niang applauded.

Although Old Xiang didn't understand much, he could still discern good from bad.

"The two of you have truly given me a surprise."

"No need to say more, you have passed. From now on, the two of you are Elders of the Star Ocean Sect."
