Chapter 384: Purple Fish Palace 7

Bei Chenying looked at Su Luo, seemingly so angry he wanted to say something, but he was glared at by Nangong Liuyun.

In the end, Bei Chenying simply threw caution to the wind and waved his hand. "Fine, do whatever you want! I actually hope Li Yaoyao and the others take the crystal purple fish this time, just to annoy you to death."

Nangong Liuyun looked at Su Luo with a smile but said nothing.

Bei Chenying and the other two took one last glance at Su Luo, glared heavily at Nangong Liuyun, looking both annoyed and helpless, before finally accelerating and disappearing before them like shooting stars.

Su Luo glanced at Nangong Liuyun and frowned, saying, "Actually, you really don't have to do this. I don't need you to accompany me."

Although Bei Chenying and the others hadn't explicitly said it, Su Luo could roughly guess why Nangong Liuyun wasn't following them to rush ahead.

It was because she couldn't keep up with their speed.

Thus, he would rather miss out on the treasure than leave her side, strolling along slowly as if he were wandering in his own back garden, while he had practically let the crystal purple fish be taken by others.

Nangong Liuyun's beautiful eyes were as deep as pools, containing a faint smile. He tapped her forehead lightly. "I haven't even said anything, yet you've sensed it all. We truly have a tacit understanding. Tell me, in this lifetime, who else could you marry besides me?"

Su Luo couldn't help but cover her forehead and sigh.

How could this guy manage to steer every topic toward forcing her to marry him? It was as if he was truly determined to marry no one but her.

She had only heard of people desperate to marry off, but never someone desperate to marry someone else.

Su Luo tried hard to steer the topic back. "Aren't you worried at all? The crystal purple fish sounds like something amazing. If you obtained it, your strength would definitely rise by a significant level."

"No matter how good the crystal purple fish is, can it compare to you?" Nangong Liuyun waved his hand dismissively, his beautiful eyes containing a wild and enchanting smile. "Are you very moved by my actions? Are you moved enough to offer yourself to me?"

Nangong Liuyun's whole body radiated a faint luster. The two figures, one tall and one short, stood there, Nangong Liuyun's tall and upright frame making Su Luo appear even more petite and delicate.

The two were extremely close, and Su Luo could clearly smell the pleasant scent of herbs on him, so rich and tranquil, intoxicating.

Su Luo felt her heart beating rather fast and subconsciously turned her face away.

Nangong Liuyun loved this shy little look of hers to death, but he didn't expose her, just looked at her quietly with a smile in his deep, dark, beautiful eyes.

Su Luo gave a light cough, paused, and finally managed to bring the conversation back to the main point. "You really don't regret it? Don't you dare say later that it was because of me that you didn't get the crystal purple fish, and then force me to marry you as compensation!"

Su Luo had to plan ahead, because this guy was truly capable of doing such a thing!

A trace of craftiness flashed in Nangong Liuyun's eyes, though his expression feigned helpless resignation. "To think you guessed it. What should I do now?"

Su Luo was so angry she was speechless, glaring at Nangong Liuyun in a huff.

Nangong Liuyun, however, smiled and pinched her nose. "Alright, alright, I won't tease you anymore. But, Girl Luo, have you still not discovered what your greatest strength is?"

Su Luo thought for a long while, but couldn't figure it out, so she couldn't help but ask suspiciously, "What is it?"

Looking at the little girl before him with her confused, beautiful eyes, a wave of soft indulgence surged in Nangong Liuyun's heart. He smiled, took her hand, and walked along slowly, saying two words as they walked: "Luck."
