Chapter 387: This Is Talent

A report on Boring Short Videos?

Chen Mo was taken aback; it seemed like he hadn't paid attention to Boring Short Videos for a long time.

He remembered the last time he received a report on Boring Short Videos, it was because the academic-focused livestreams had attracted many users.

He had paid attention to it for a while back then and found that although there were some users, the revenue wasn't much, and it was completely negligible compared to the current expenses of Boring Short Videos.

Therefore, he didn't pay much attention to it later, and during this period, he hadn't even opened Boring Short Videos.

Even when he scrolled through short videos, he used other short video platforms.

He was puzzled, wondering what content the Boring Short Videos report contained this time.

He reached out to take the report and curiously flipped it open to take a look.

Not long after, his brows furrowed tightly, and the hand gripping the report had veins popping out, perhaps because he was gripping it too hard.

"President Chen?"

Shen Rou looked at the now somewhat wrinkled report and called out with some concern.

Could it be that President Chen was too excited because he finally saw some changes in Boring Short Videos after such a long time?

"Hmm!"

"I'm fine, you go back to work first."

Chen Mo came back to his senses, looked up at Shen Rou standing in front of his office, and waved his hand.

Shen Rou looked at President Chen with some hesitation, but still obediently returned to the office.

Bang!

Chen Mo watched Shen Rou enter the office and the door close, finally unable to control his emotions.

He slammed the report in his hand directly onto the desk.

Well played, Li Shen!

You're something else!

You're finding loopholes here, aren't you? I forbade you from promoting Boring Short Videos, so you got the streamers to do it instead. You're really something.

Looking at the content of the report, students from Normal University, in order to increase the audience for academic-focused livestreams, personally went out to promote Boring Short Videos. Now, the audience for academic-focused livestreams has reached over 80,000.

If it were just over 80,000 viewers, that would be fine, but these 80,000 viewers actually spent millions in the Livestream room.

That's too much spending.

Even if you want your child to study, you have to consider the child.

Buying so much study material, aren't you afraid of tiring the child out?

Chen Mo rubbed his temples speechlessly, unable to help but feel a headache.

According to the report, the audience for academic-focused livestreams is still on a gradual upward trend under the promotion.

And this has fallen into a vicious cycle.

The more viewers for academic-focused livestreams, the more people spend in the Livestream room, and thus the more revenue Boring Short Videos makes.

Thinking of such a terrible result.

Chen Mo wished he could drag Li Shen out and kill him, and oh, that Wu Yu too.

And what made him feel even more helpless was that he could only watch as the number of viewers for academic-focused livestreams grew under the streamer's promotion, eventually leading to more and more revenue for Boring Short Videos.

Which streamer is it that's so annoying?

Isn't it fine to just livestream and make money? Why do you have to go and promote it so annoyingly?

Chen Mo leaned back in his chair and remained silent for a long time.

After a while, Chen Mo suddenly stood up, looking at the report on the desk that he had wrinkled, his eyes gradually lighting up.

He suddenly thought of a very clever method to stop that streamer from continuing to promote Boring Short Videos.

Thinking of this, he directly pressed the call button on the side, connected to the manager's office of Boring Short Videos, and called Li Shen up.

A while later, the office door was knocked on, and Li Shen walked in with a smile on his face.

"President Chen, are there any arrangements?"

Looking at Li Shen's smiling face, Chen Mo gritted his teeth.

"Sit down. I saw the report you submitted. It's not bad, but I feel you haven't done enough."

"President Chen is right. We also know we haven't done enough. We will continue to work hard."

Li Shen hurriedly stated.

Making Boring Short Videos the largest short video platform in the country was his ultimate goal, and he would definitely work hard for this goal.

Hearing this, Chen Mo's mouth twitched, and he couldn't help but complain internally.

If you don't understand, then don't understand.

Was I telling you to keep working hard?

"Regarding that hard work, just do what you can. After all, everyone's ability is limited, don't push yourself too hard."

"When I said you didn't do enough, it wasn't because you didn't work hard enough, but because you missed out on talent."

Missed out on talent?

Li Shen was shocked and hurriedly recalled what talent he had missed.

But after thinking it over, among the people he had been in contact with during this period, it seemed there wasn't any talent.

He was puzzled, not knowing what talent he had missed.

He looked up at President Chen and humbly asked for advice.

"Please give me a hint, President Chen."

"It's this."

Chen Mo looked at Li Shen's confused expression, pushed the somewhat wrinkled report directly in front of him, and pressed his finger on the two characters for 'streamer'.

Li Shen looked at the wrinkled report, confused as to why it had become like this.

However, the matter of talent was more important, so he didn't think too much and let his gaze fall on the characters President Chen pointed at.

Streamer?

Looking at those two characters, Li Shen was stunned for a moment, but quickly realized.

The talent President Chen mentioned should be the student from Normal University who promoted the academic-focused livestreams.

"President Chen, this streamer is just a student from Normal University who just graduated from college. She can't really be considered talent."

"No."

Chen Mo looked at Li Shen and shook his head.

"Talent has nothing to do with academic qualifications; it depends on what the person has actually done. Although this streamer is only a student from Normal University, she was able to think of helping to promote Boring Short Videos. This is her ability, this is talent. Otherwise, why wouldn't other streamers promote it, but only she did?"

"President Chen, after they promote it, the number of viewers for academic-focused livestreams increases, which can increase revenue, so they are naturally willing to promote it!"

Li Shen explained.

Every time a unit is increased, one can double their income. With such huge profit support, even if it were other streamers, they would be willing to promote it too.

Chen Mo shook his head again.

"It's not the same. Your report shows that she promoted it in the group first. Only after you discovered the promotion was effective did you give those rewards. So, she promoted it first, and you gave the rewards later."

"Therefore, she seized this opportunity herself. If she hadn't promoted it, would you have given her the reward?"

Hearing this, Li Shen nodded secretly in his heart. It seemed that was indeed the case; he only contacted her and offered the price increase plan after seeing the promotion was very effective.

"Obviously, you wouldn't have. So this is her own ability, and she seized this opportunity."

"This is what talent is, do you understand?"

Chen Mo said solemnly.

Hearing this, Li Shen suddenly felt that it made sense. Those two students from Normal University really seemed to be talent!

"Then, President Chen, what should we do!"

"What else can we do? Such good talent, of course, must be recruited to the company and become a member of the company."

Chen Mo said as a matter of course.
