Chapter 388: Accepting God Emperor Wan Jing

"I was born in a Small World, lacking in Spiritual Qi and scarce in resources. Yet, even so, I relied solely on my own talent to break through to the Red Dust Immortal stage and ascend to the Great World."

"Initially, I thought that by relying on myself to break through to the Red Dust Immortal stage and ascend to the Great World, I could be considered an elite even within the Great World. However, after ascending to the Great World, I realized that beings like me were everywhere."

"Nevertheless, I did not slack off. I Cultivated diligently day after day, and eventually, through sheer perseverance, I caught up from behind, surpassed many others, achieved a Breakthrough to godhood, and ascended to the Divine Realm."

"After ascending to the Divine Realm, I realized my own insignificance, so I chose to remain in the Jingran Domain to grow step by step, until I eventually became the Domain Lord of the Jingran Domain."

"Do you know what was most important to me along this journey?"

When he reached the end, God Emperor Wan Jing looked at Tian Dao Divine King and asked with an incredibly serious tone.

Tian Dao Divine King pondered for a moment before looking at God Emperor Wan Jing to state his own answer.

"Is it talent?"

"Not at all. For me, talent is only secondary. What is most important is my choices. The choices I have made on the path to becoming strong far exceed millions. Although some of the decisions I made nearly cost me my life, the one thing that has never changed is that I have never regretted them. If it were not for those choices, there would be no God Emperor Wan Jing today."

"Therefore, I am now going to make what I believe to be the correct choice."

Not long after, within the Xue Lang Realm.

Looking at the serious-faced God Emperor Wan Jing before him, Wu Hao knew that God Emperor Wan Jing had made the correct choice, so he spoke.

"Since you are willing to become my subordinate, then take the great dao oath."

"Very well, Master. However, I do not yet know your name?"

God Emperor Wan Jing agreed, and just as he was about to speak, he realized he did not know Wu Hao's name.

Hearing this, Wu Hao was stunned for a moment, then spoke.

"I am Wu Hao."

"I, Jiang Wan Jing, hereby take the great dao oath today, willing to become the subordinate of Senior Wu Hao. If I betray Senior Wu Hao, I am willing to be struck down by the Extinction Divine Thunder sent by the great dao."

God Emperor Wan Jing said with a serious expression, and Jiang Wan Jing was indeed God Emperor Wan Jing's name.

As God Emperor Wan Jing's words fell, the next second, a rumbling sound erupted from the Void Realm, though it did not last long.

Two points of light emerged from the Void Realm and sank directly into the bodies of Jiang Wan Jing and Wu Hao, respectively.

Jiang Wan Jing and Wu Hao both sensed that this was the power of the great dao, which meant the great dao oath had been officially accepted by the great dao. If God Emperor Wan Jing were to truly betray Wu Hao, the great dao would indeed send down the Extinction Divine Thunder to kill Jiang Wan Jing.

"Is this the power of the great dao? It is truly terrifying."

Feeling the power within his body, Jiang Wan Jing had a grave expression. He could sense that if the power within him so desired, it could easily kill him thousands of times over.

This made Jiang Wan Jing even more wary of the great dao. Although gods are all comprehending and absorbing the power of the great dao, to control or rival the great dao, one must at least reach the God Emperor stage. Below the God Emperor stage, all are ants in the eyes of the great dao.

"Is this the power of the great dao? I feel like I could erase it with a wave of my hand."

Feeling the residual power of the great dao in his body, Wu Hao's expression was indifferent, and he was somewhat dismissive in his heart.

Let alone being a God Emperor now, he felt that even when he had broken through to the Divine Venerable stage, he could have erased this power.

However, Wu Hao could feel that this power had little impact on him. Furthermore, if he were to erase this power, the great dao oath would not be valid, so he decided to keep it for now.

"However, when will I be able to personally impose a great dao oath?"

Wu Hao thought about this. Wasn't it said that gods would eventually inherit the power of the great dao? So when exactly would he be able to officially inherit the full power of the great dao? Wu Hao was very curious about this.

But now was not the time to be curious about this. Glancing at Jiang Wan Jing beside him, who was looking at him with eager eyes, Wu Hao did not hesitate and tossed out a portion of Divine Venerable Origin.

"Absorb it. With your current level of Cultivation, it would be embarrassing for me, Wu Hao, if others found out."

Seeing Wu Hao toss something over, Jiang Wan Jing hurriedly caught it.

Upon sensing the item in his hands, his heart was immediately filled with immense shock. What terrifying Origin power! It was likely at least the Origin of a Divine Venerable.

After becoming a god, if one wants to continue advancing their Cultivation, one must either use Divine Source or Medicinal Pills to Cultivate, or absorb Origin power to Cultivate.

Although Jiang Wan Jing had absorbed some Origin power before, he had never seen such terrifyingly clean and pure Origin power. After all, ordinary experts would not leave their own Origin power to be handed over to others.

To be able to leave behind Origin power, it must either be obtained from a Legacy, or the enemy's strength far exceeded one's own, killing them before they could even react, which would result in obtaining the most complete Origin power.

However, judging by Wu Hao's attitude, Jiang Wan Jing could tell it was likely the latter. After all, if it had been obtained from a Legacy, how could Wu Hao be so generous as to toss it to him?

Even so, Wu Hao, who possessed the terrifying strength to kill a Divine Venerable, could not be underestimated. Having received such a complete Divine Venerable Origin immediately upon becoming a subordinate made Jiang Wan Jing even more grateful for his decision. If he had not chosen to become Wu Hao's subordinate, he would likely have regretted it for the rest of his life, and would have slapped himself twice just for stepping out of Cultivation.

"Thank you, Master."

Jiang Wan Jing hurriedly thanked him, his tone incredibly respectful.

Wu Hao waved his hand and said in an indifferent tone.

"Alright, hurry up and become stronger. I brought you here to solve unnecessary troubles for me, so that I don't have to take action for everything, not for me to take action to protect you."

"Yes, Master. Then I will go and Cultivate first. By the way, Master, God-Emperor Jing Rang and Ito Makoto did not leave the Jingran Domain long ago, and I fear they will return soon. Although Master's strength need not fear God-Emperor Jing Rang, please still be careful, Master."

Remembering something, Jiang Wan Jing reminded him before turning and returning to the Domain Lord Realm, preparing to absorb this Divine Venerable Origin to see to what extent he could break through.

However, this was destined not to be something that could be completed quickly.

Therefore, Wu Hao did not intend for Jiang Wan Jing to finish absorbing the Divine Venerable Origin in a short time, but planned to wait until Jiang Wan Jing reached the Middle Stage of the God Emperor realm before leaving with him.
