Chapter 391: A Complex

Yang Yaoyao thought to herself as she took out her phone, found her mother's number, and dialed it directly.

"Hello, Yaoyao, you're calling so late. Is something the matter?"

The call connected, and her mother's voice came through, tinged with a hint of worry.

Yang Yaoyao felt a warmth in her heart.

"Mom, I'm fine. I just wanted to call and let you know that I'm returning to Jiangcheng tomorrow for my internship."

"Have you changed your mind and decided to come work at General Manager Chen's Group?"

Dong Hong's tone was pleasantly surprised.

"No, the internship company I chose is also in Jiangcheng. I'm going to sign the contract tomorrow, and I'll be working in Jiangcheng from now on."

Yang Yaoyao explained. She had known her parents would bring up General Manager Chen.

"Yaoyao, this Complex looks pretty good. Why don't we find a place to rent in this Complex? You'll be closer to home."

Liu Weiwei looked at the facilities at the entrance of the Complex and the security guards standing there.

It was clearly a very nice, high-end Complex.

"We can look around and see if there's anything suitable. Renting here wouldn't be bad."

Yang Yaoyao also examined the Complex and didn't refuse. Even though she was returning home to start work, she intended to move out and live with Liu Weiwei; she hadn't planned on living at home.

The two registered with the security guard and entered the Complex.

Following the address her mother had given her, Yang Yaoyao went straight to her unit door, called the guard to open it, took the elevator, and quickly arrived at the door of her Room.

She entered the Room password into the fingerprint lock and went straight inside.

Pushing open the door, Yang Yaoyao carefully examined the layout of the Room. Her parents had moved after the New Year, so she had only heard her mother describe the appearance and layout of the new home a few times; she didn't really know what it looked like.

"Wow, is it big?"

Liu Weiwei watched her change into slippers, took a quick look around the Room, and exclaimed.

"Yeah, the house is over 130 square meters in total, with three bedrooms. Right now, there's one for my parents, one for my little sister, and one empty Room, which is perfect for us."

As Yang Yaoyao spoke, she opened the doors to several Rooms to take a look.

The master bedroom was clearly her parents' Room, and there was another Room with a small study desk, which was clearly her little sister's Room.

"Alright, this Room will be ours."

Yang Yaoyao opened the third Room and took a look at the layout inside. There was a wardrobe and a large bed, with fresh sheets spread on the bed, along with two fresh quilts. Clearly, after she had called, her parents had prepared it for her that very night.

Hearing that she had a friend coming, they even prepared two quilts.

The two of them put their suitcases in the bedroom and left the house immediately.

It was already noon. They had an appointment with the Boring Short Videos platform to go to the company in the afternoon to sign the contract, so they needed to hurry over. They didn't want to be late for such an important matter.

Leaving the Complex, the two hailed a taxi and headed straight for Boring Short Videos.
