Chapter 4: New Life

Chapter 4: New Life

“Slap…!”

A crisp and loud sound echoed through the Star Domain, as a resounding slap landed on Golden Grand Empress’s face, sounding very pleasant.

“You… dare to insult me?!” Golden Grand Empress stumbled, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth, her face ashen. The last time she suffered such an insult was when the Holy Emperor was still alive.

She had always been accustomed to being strong and domineering, relying on her cultivation, standing high above, looking down on the mortal world.

It was only the Holy Emperor’s appearance that shattered everything, but she dared not voice her anger. The other party was too strong, and now even his subordinates were like this.

Golden Grand Empress’s eyes blazed with fury, radiating Evil Qi.

“What if we insult you? Daring to disrespect the Holy Emperor, you have already courted death!” said Ning Yu, the Holy Emperor Palace’s First Battle General, exuding heroism in his golden armor.

He was one of Lin Tianfan’s earliest followers, originally a wandering orphan. The Holy Emperor raised him, taught him Dao, and guided his cultivation. Naturally, he would not allow anyone to disrespect the person he most revered.

“Boom!”

Another slap struck Golden Grand Empress, like a piece of the sky crashing down, immensely powerful. A Supreme’s strike could obliterate hundreds of millions of miles of Star Domain, incredibly formidable.

“Ah…” Golden Grand Empress roared, runes flickering all over her body, blood Qi burning, attempting to resist the blow.

However, eight Supremes surrounded her, using great magical power to seal her movements, making it difficult for her to budge. She could only watch helplessly as the slap landed on her face.

“Slap, slap, slap…!”

The sounds of slapping were incessant. It was hard to imagine a Supreme being continuously slapped in front of everyone. Speaking of it would shock a large group of people to death.

At this moment, Golden Grand Empress was dizzy, blood streaming from the corner of her mouth, her face already a pulpy mess, with blood mist spurting out. Many of her teeth had even been knocked out.

This scene continued. Some forces, who were rivals of the Jin family, felt incredibly pleased, while others, seeing Golden Grand Empress’s miserable state, couldn't help but feel pity for her.

Golden Grand Empress never expected that even after the Holy Emperor’s demise, his subordinates would still be so strong. It was simply outrageous.

After this battle, she knew her reputation was ruined, she had lost her last shred of dignity, and would never be able to hold her head high again.

At least, as long as the Holy Emperor Palace existed, it would be so.

Everyone watching was dumbfounded, but they also understood that this was the Holy Emperor Palace telling everyone that although the Holy Emperor had fallen, the Holy Emperor Palace still stood, remaining a top force in Nine Heavens, not to be bullied by anyone.

Most people’s hearts had already cleared. They should only befriend it, not oppose it. This was a behemoth, a newly established Immortal Dao Lineage, which would not decline because of one person’s demise.

At this moment, the Feng family’s Old Ancestor also secretly thought, fortunately, he didn’t step forward first and held back slightly, otherwise, he would be the one suffering.

Golden Grand Empress secretly sought help from all sides, hoping to collectively resist the Holy Emperor Palace. If this continued, she felt she would be suppressed and killed here.

In fact, the eight Battle Generals could have suppressed and killed her here long ago. After years of coexisting, even if they hadn't reached the peak of Supreme, with their tacit understanding and Formation, they could even kill a Supreme of the Extreme Dao.

The Holy Emperor’s demise made them very sad, and they were in a state of anger. Now that Golden Grand Empress jumped out, they naturally wanted to vent properly, taking turns to beat her up before finally suppressing and killing her.

“It’s you, old harridan, who deserves to be beaten!”

The sounds of slapping continued, incredibly loud, one person after another, taking turns, repeating endlessly. Golden Grand Empress’s face was already a烂 mess, like a pig’s head.

Finally, with everyone watching, Wang Changsheng stepped forward and spoke, “Fellow Daoists, let’s just stop. Let her go!”

These two families were an Alliance and had always been on good terms. The Wang family naturally couldn’t watch her perish, otherwise, this world would truly become the Holy Emperor Palace’s.

“Such trash, leaving her alive would only pollute Nine Heavens. Let’s just kill her!”

The sounds of slapping continued. The eight Battle Generals ignored him. Wang Changsheng was not qualified enough to tell them what to do, and he wasn’t a good person either.

Golden Grand Empress had unspeakable suffering. She felt that she would not escape this calamity today and frantically sent out distress signals, even promising Meng Tianzheng, as only he could persuade these few people and save her life.

“Spare her life for now. In the future, send her to the border to kill enemies, to atone for her sins!”

Meng Tianzheng finally spoke because Golden Grand Empress kept promising him that when that world invaded, the Jin family would rush to the front lines to defend against the enemy.

Slap!

After the last slap, Golden Grand Empress was sent flying, crashing into another Star Domain, shattering countless stars before finally stopping. She was very disheveled, having long lost her former arrogance and nobility.

Ning Yu and the others let her go. Meng Tianzheng’s words were still very effective. He was a Senior respected by their Holy Emperor, both a teacher and a friend.

Furthermore, the Holy Emperor had given instructions before Undergoing Tribulation that the Holy Emperor Palace would fully cooperate with Meng Tianzheng in the future.

“Senior Meng, we shall return first. If anything happens in the future, you can send a message to the Holy Emperor Palace!”

Finally, the eight Battle Generals left, carrying the blood-stained Golden Cauldron. Although the Cauldron was cracked, its Artifact Spirit still existed and could be repaired.

Moreover, having been bathed in the blood of an Immortal, it shone with brilliant immortal light and iridescent colors, undergoing a transformation. It was already in the process of self-repair. Given time, it would recover into a complete Immortal Artifact.

In Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, Immortal Artifacts were rare, countable on one’s fingers. They were all the foundations of various families, only a few remaining from the Immortal Ancient era, extremely precious.

In the current Primitive Ancient Realm, with no Immortals to fight against, they would be indispensable ultimate weapons for future resistance against the foreign realm.

Somewhere in the Border Wilderness No Man’s Land, a woman in white robes appeared, her figure graceful, taking nimble steps, her eyes shimmering with light, like a Fairy stepped out of a painting, her elegance unmatched.

Yet, such a woman with skin like ice and bones like jade, exquisitely beautiful and otherworldly, walked through a dangerous region, seemingly searching for something, looking somewhat anxious.

“It should be around here, right?” the woman in white robes muttered. Her voice was like crisp silver bells, like large and small pearls falling onto a jade plate, melodious and captivating.

She was like an elf, seeming out of place in this scorched, ominous region. She possessed a solemn and magnificent aura, unparalleled grace, and immense purity, yet her face held a hint of mischievousness.

This was a changeable woman, with rich expressions, sometimes standing aloof, serene as a divine lotus, like an exiled Fairy descending to the mortal world, and other times mischievous and nimble, like a cunning little demoness.

“Where did this guy run off to? He just failed Immortal Ascension!” the young girl said lightly, speaking of Immortal Ascension as if it were very simple, which was incredibly unbelievable.

“Buzz!”

Suddenly, an Immortal Bell imprint on her body vibrated slightly, as if conveying something to her. The woman in white robes’ eyes burst forth with golden light, mysterious runes emerged, and she looked in one direction.

If there were other beings present, they would surely recognize this as the Martial Dao Heavenly Eye, which was incredibly astonishing. This seemingly young woman had actually cultivated a Heavenly Eye that many giants did not possess.

“Oh, I found him. I didn’t expect this guy’s Nirvana to be so complete, turning into a baby!” the woman in white robes smiled, the corners of her mouth slightly upturned, her expression peculiar.

Just a few hundred miles away, in a cave, she saw an immortal cocoon rooted within, concealed by a Formation, yet unable to block her Heavenly Eye.

But then, after thinking it over, she muttered to herself, “But that’s right. After suffering such severe injuries, a near-death experience, it’s already not easy to survive.”
