Chapter 430: Survivors of the Calamity 3

Before long, the wind and waves on the sea shifted direction.

The waves began pushing Su Luo forward from behind.

Could it be that the Heavens finally opened their eyes, and things were turning for the better?

Su Luo finally felt a sense of satisfaction in her heart.

With the help of the waves, Su Luo's movements immediately became much easier, and she grew closer and closer to that black speck of a target.

By now, Su Luo could see clearly; it indeed wasn't a ship, but a small deserted island.

The island was surrounded by hidden reefs. While these reefs were the natural enemies of ships, they were of immense help to her.

She saw that the surrounding wind direction was about to change again.

To prevent tragedy from striking twice, Su Luo used her two free fingers and swam toward the shore with all her might.

Whenever the following waves pushed her forward, she would use the momentum to surge ahead. When the tide receded, she would cling tightly to the side of a reef, refusing to let go.

Waiting for the next wave to carry her, she would again push forward with everything she had.

Repeating this cycle, her efficiency improved significantly.

After struggling for more than half an hour, just as her two fingers were so swollen they were about to burst, she finally touched the beach.

Only after drifting at sea did she truly realize how wonderful the feeling of solid ground beneath her feet was.

However, even though she had floated onto the sand, Su Luo remained in that ice-sculpture state; this was an unchangeable fact.

She didn't know exactly how sturdy Li Aotian's Ice-Snow Prison was.

Throughout the entire night, despite the wind and rain, the lightning and thunder, and the towering waves—all of which had ravaged it together—the ice sculpture still showed no sign of melting.

Even though Su Luo never stopped trying to blast it with her Spirit Power, after all that effort, she had only managed to extend a few fingers. Her body was still trapped inside, as if her entire body were encased in a plaster cast.

On the beach, the seawater receded. Su Luo lay quietly, looking up at the setting sun, silently weeping in her heart.

If this continued, what was she to do?

Staying in the ice sculpture for too long, her body wouldn't be able to take it.

Moreover, since she had come out of seclusion the day before yesterday, she hadn't had a drop of water or a grain of rice. Her stomach was now growling loudly from hunger.

The problem was, even if there was food, she was currently trapped in an ice sculpture and couldn't eat it anyway… Sigh, when a person is unlucky, how can they be this wretched?

Just as Su Luo was wallowing in self-pity, she suddenly felt a shadow appear above her. Could it be getting dark so soon?

Su Luo helplessly opened her eyes—

How could it be?!

When she saw the person before her, Su Luo could hardly believe it.

His incredibly noble black brocade robe had been torn to shreds by the reefs. That peerlessly handsome face, those seductive peach-blossom eyes that loved to smile, and those perfect thin lips… were currently curled slightly upward, looking at her with a smile.

"Nangong Liuyun?!" Su Luo simply couldn't believe it!

Things had changed too quickly; she simply didn't have time to react.

Hadn't Nangong Liuyun been set up by the Yaochi Fairy and locked in the Joyous Room? How could he possibly appear here? She must have been in the sun for too long and gotten dizzy, resulting in a hallucination, right?

Su Luo instinctively wanted to reach out and rub her eyes, only to realize with frustration that she was currently like a mummy and couldn't move at all.

Nangong Liuyun wore a roguish smile on his lips. He even went so far as to flick the ice layer with his finger, commenting with great amusement, "The quality is actually quite good."

Under the afterglow of the setting sun, his voice carried a hint of laziness within its dominance.

And that punchable smile on his face—even if he were turned to ash, Su Luo would not mistake it.
