Chapter 430: The Mech-Servant Has Her Own Divine Ability

The wind grew fiercer.

The snow became more illusory.

In the Courtyard covered by wind and snow, the dancing snowflakes were like a swarm of out-of-control butterflies, stumbling everywhere, flapping wildly, and crashing against the withered branches.

Pitter-patter, crackle-snap.

Amidst that joyous New Year bustle.

The sound of the Mech-Servant knocking on the door echoed inside the bedroom, vibrating slightly.

"This…"

Wu Yingxue was bewildered.

She had originally thought she had chosen the absolute perfect time to confess her feelings to Xu Xi on New Year's Eve.

Little did she expect that a complication would arise at the very last step.

Should she bite the bullet and refuse to leave, even with the Mech-Servant likely to enter at any moment, thereby drawing everyone's attention?

Or should she retreat for now, wait until the Mech-Servant leaves, and then discuss marriage matters with Sir?

Wu Yingxue thought about it seriously and decided that the second option was better.

Through multiple personal experiences, the Princess had already reached a conclusion: one versus four is unwinnable.

"Sir, we will meet again later."

The girl leaned into Xu Xi's ear, whispering.

Afterward, she scanned the room, looking for a place to hide.

"Wait, Yingxue, that place is…"

Xu Xi wanted to grab the Princess's hand, but she moved too quickly, rushing into the most hidden corner first.

Space shattered, and a pocket dimension was revealed.

The illusory disguise fell away and disintegrated, scattered, exposing the Witch hiding within.

"Could it be that you too?!"

Wu Yingxue stared at the Witch before her, her eyes wide.

"I was here first."

The Witch remained expressionless, asserting her sovereignty.

At this moment, the air was exceptionally quiet, so much so that even the faint sound of breathing seemed remarkably clear.

The two girls stared at each other, seemingly wanting to say something, but the current situation did not allow for further dawdling.

"Thump—thump—"

"Thump—thump—"

Ele's knocking sounded from outside again.

"Mentor, you should go open the door."

"Sir, don't worry about me."

With great tacit understanding, Klisa and Wu Yingxue simultaneously repaired the pocket dimension, hiding in an invisible angle of space-time, appearing flawless and normal from the outside.

Only Xu Xi knew that the seemingly calm room actually concealed two Supremes.

"I always feel that the development of the situation is becoming increasingly subtle,"

Xu Xi looked out the window, where white snowflakes were falling in abundance, and within the hazy blur were clusters of bright fireworks.

This New Year's Eve was quite different from previous years.

First, there was the Witch's night raid, then the Princess's knocking, and now, the Mech-Servant followed right after.

The girls were clearly acting individually, yet they miraculously bumped into each other.

"Let's open the door for Ele first."

With hesitation on his face, Xu Xi walked to the doorway and opened the door for the quietly waiting Mech-Servant.

"Apologies, Master, for disturbing you so late."

Her silver-blue eyes, rippling with myriad emotions, revealed human-like apology. Ele was very polite, apologizing for her sudden visit.

She believed that doing so would disturb Xu Xi's rest.

"It's fine, Ele."

Xu Xi smiled gently, comforting the Mech-Servant as usual.

"You arrived at just the right time; you didn't disturb me at all."

"Compared to that, Ele, what is the matter so late at night?"

Listening to Xu Xi's inquiry, the young girl nodded slightly: "…Master, I encountered some things on Earth and need your help."

As she spoke, Ele produced a form from somewhere.

Xu Xi took the form, and with the help of the room's light, he clearly saw the prominent title at the top: "Household Registration Application?"

Xu Xi was very surprised, puzzled and confused: "Ele, why did you suddenly think of applying for Earth household registration?"

For ordinary people, household registration might be an important form of identification, but for a Supreme, such things are meaningless.

Whether it's an emperor or a beggar, whatever identity one wants depends solely on the Supreme's thoughts.

Regarding this, the Mech-Servant had her own unique perspective.

In the snowy night with fireworks rising, the young girl held Xu Xi's hand, sat side-by-side on the edge of the bedroom bed, and logically articulated her point of view.

"Master, do you think I am a real human now?"

"Of course."

Xu Xi nodded decisively.

"Thank you for your affirmation, but I feel that this alone is far from enough,"

Ele's tone was serious and rigorous.

"Identity, body, soul, humanity…"

"Merely having a similar body is not enough to prove that I am a real human."

Xu Xi was lost in thought. He roughly understood Ele's idea.

Ele wanted to become a "human," not just in terms of the body, changing from cold machinery to a flesh-and-blood physique, but also in a comprehensive change.

So she wanted household registration. An identity registration proving she is a "human."

"I understand, Ele."

"Since this is what you want to do, I will support you."

Xu Xi affirmed the Mech-Servant's actions and that autonomous thinking, but he still had doubts in his heart.

A matter like household registration—with Ele's strength, couldn't it be done with a single thought? Where exactly did she need his help?

The Mech-Servant naturally took Xu Xi's arm: "Master, through searching and learning, I discovered that on Earth, household registration is mostly handled and used with the family as the unit."

"I think a [family] with only me is insufficient; it is incomplete."

"So—"

The Mech-Servant softly stated her purpose: "I want to join your household registration as your wife."

The snow stopped. The wind died down. Within a microsecond, the world suddenly became quiet.

Inside the bedroom's pocket dimension, the Witch and the Princess were originally somewhat hostile, looking at each other with furrowed brows.

But as Ele stated the purpose of her visit… both of their eyes looked outward simultaneously. Their gazes became sharp.

…The bedroom light was bright, illuminating every line of text. The words fell in order, and there was an inexplicable heaviness in the blank spaces.

The household registration form, which should have been light as a feather, suddenly felt heavy as a thousand jun in Xu Xi's hands.

"Ele, do you know what you are doing?"

The Mech-Servant nodded: "I am executing Master's order, doing what I like."

In the fourth simulation, to cultivate Ele's humanity, Xu Xi had said more than once that Ele should have the courage to do what she likes, rather than just obeying orders.

Now, Ele had done it. Her likes. Her desires. Her pursuits. They were right in front of her. Therefore, Ele would never let go.
