Chapter 433: Surviving the Aftermath 6
Su Luo took a cup of heavenly spirit water from her space and slowly fed it to Nangong Liuyun: "Come, drink this."
At this moment, Nangong Liuyun was acting very obediently. He lay in Su Luo's arms, following her hand to drink the entire cup of water mouthful by mouthful.
After drinking the heavenly spirit water, his complexion improved slightly, but his eyelids became heavier and heavier, and he soon fell into a deep sleep.
Only then did Su Luo have the opportunity to properly examine Nangong Liuyun.
His face was deathly pale, his clothes were somewhat disheveled, and his hands were slightly bloated from being soaked in seawater; he was completely different from the noble and arrogant Prince Jin, Your Highness, of the past.
Su Luo actually wanted to ask whether anything had happened in the Joyous Chamber… but facing Nangong Liuyun like this, she felt that asking such a question would be an insult to him.
She took care of him the entire time, without sleeping for the whole night.
The next morning, amidst the first rays of dawn, the two of them slowly woke up.
After drinking that cup of heavenly spirit water, Nangong Liuyun's spirits had improved somewhat, but his face remained deathly pale, and he looked extremely exhausted.
When Su Luo opened her eyes, she saw him lying on his side, propping his head up with one hand, looking at her with a serious gaze. At this moment, he was like a gentle flame.
Su Luo rubbed her eyes and muttered: "What are you doing?"
Nangong Liuyun seemed a bit unhappy and continued to glare at Su Luo in a huff.
Su Luo was even more puzzled. It was early in the morning, why was this man acting like a child, throwing another temper tantrum?
However, considering he was severely injured, Su Luo didn't hold it against him and just asked: "What exactly are you angry about?"
Nangong Liuyun didn't speak. He pursed his lips and remained silent, only using his eyes to convey his resentment.
Su Luo was simply bewildered. Since he wouldn't say anything when asked, what else could she do?
Su Luo helplessly stretched and rubbed her stomach: "I'm so hungry."
Nangong Liuyun said fiercely: "Su Luo, in the future, you are not allowed to tell other men that you are hungry."
"Hmm?" Su Luo looked at him, puzzled.
"You are only allowed to say it to this Prince!" Nangong Liuyun said, filled with arrogance.
"As if." Su Luo huffed, annoyed.
Compared to the state of being trapped in an ice sculpture like a mummy before, the feeling of having her feet on the ground and regaining her freedom was truly wonderful. Su Luo took a deep breath of fresh air and turned to ask Nangong Liuyun: "Is your body feeling any better?"
"Now you know to care about this Prince? Hmph, it's too late." Nangong Liuyun turned his face away.
Su Luo was almost amused by his childishness.
Could it be that he was sulking this morning because she hadn't cared for him? But she had clearly watched over him all night last night and only fell into a deep sleep when she couldn't hold on any longer.
Su Luo glared at him: "I have always cared about you, okay? Don't be so ungrateful."
When she coaxed him nicely, he still threw a tantrum, but Su Luo glaring at him now had the opposite effect. Nangong Liuyun immediately sat up, his face full of joy and pride: "Tell me, how have you been caring for this Prince?"
"Preparing to find food for you, does that count?" Su Luo couldn't be bothered to argue with this childish man.
Yesterday he looked like he was unconscious and about to die, yet today he was immediately full of energy?
Su Luo rolled her eyes at him, then pointed to their surroundings: "My dear Prince Jin, Your Highness, please open your noble eyes and look at where we are. Chicken porridge? Do you have a way to conjure up some rice?"
