Chapter 456: Enemies Meet Face to Face 9

Li Aotian was only temporarily blinded by her; once he cleared his head, he would definitely discover the clues on this ancient tree.

Su Luo didn't have time to overthink, so she began climbing up the steep cliff face.

Aside from the water route, the only way to find a glimmer of hope for survival was to scale the precipice.

Su Luo's speed was extremely fast and her movements were highly stealthy. As she hopped between hidden points, Li Aotian, who was focused solely on charging forward, actually failed to notice her.

Li Aotian's entire mind was focused on that piece of Deadwood.

He condensed Spiritual Power under his feet on the piece of Driftwood, and the surrounding wind pushed the wood forward at high speeds.

Soon, Li Aotian was within a hundred meters of the Deadwood.

A sinister and cold sneer curled at the corners of Li Aotian's mouth, and a vicious light flickered in his eyes.

“Stinky Girl! Let's see where you'll run this time!” Li Aotian leaped up, crossing the hundred-meter distance to land directly on the Deadwood.

“Stinky Girl, get out here!” Li Aotian slammed a palm heavily toward the Deadwood!

To prevent the Stinky Girl from escaping by diving into the water, he had condensed almost all of his Spiritual Power around the Deadwood.

The Deadwood was now like an inescapable net; not even a fly could escape.

However, to Li Aotian's despair, as his palm struck down, the Goose Yellow dress instantly turned to powder.

Yet, there was not even a shadow of Su Luo to be seen.

Looking at the dress that had been destroyed into powder, Li Aotian was instantly enraged!

He had been played by that Stinky Girl Su Luo again!

The Stinky Girl was clearly no longer on this Deadwood, yet she had deliberately left her clothes behind to lure him over!

Having been deceived repeatedly and falling for the same trick every time, Li Aotian roared in a wild, explosive fury. In his rage, he struck down with a palm, obliterating the piece of Deadwood into dust.

The Stinky Girl wasn't here, so where on earth was she hiding?

Just the thought of that Stinky Girl Su Luo hiding to the side and watching him chase after a decoy made him so furious he wanted to kill someone.

Li Aotian rushed back with a menacing Aura.

Along the way, he didn't care about his Spiritual Power at all, using it extravagantly the entire time.

Under these circumstances, Li Aotian quickly discovered the scent Su Luo had left behind on that willow tree trunk.

He had actually passed this exact spot earlier, and he had even accelerated here.

So that Stinky Girl had been hiding right here, watching him do something so stupid; she probably even laughed at his stupidity at the time.

Li Aotian was simply beyond furious.

He released his Spiritual Power, following Su Luo's scent to search continuously, and finally began tracking closely behind the trail and marks she had left.

As for Su Luo.

Even though she had temporarily thrown Li Aotian off, she didn't relax in the slightest, because she knew Li Aotian was far stronger than her and could resume the hunt at any moment.

Su Luo hid her presence as much as possible, moving quickly through the forest.

The fourth day passed peacefully.

By the fifth day, the day was already half over.

Su Luo sighed inwardly, truly wishing that the fifth and sixth days would pass quickly so that the seventh day would arrive.

Just as she was thinking this, a ripple of spiritual energy suddenly came from her space. Su Luo was overjoyed and used her Mental Energy to investigate.

She saw that the Little Divine Dragon, who had been lying on the grass and snoring softly in its sleep, had now slowly woken up.

It sat there with its round little body, rubbing its sleepy eyes with its two paws. Its little face looked dazed and innocent; its silly, blank expression was incredibly cute.

Su Luo reached in and scooped it out, happily poking its head: “Oh, you're finally awake. Let's see if you dare to steal food again next time.”
