Chapter 457

[Summon Elemental Lich (Level 1): Uses items of different elements to summon a corresponding Elemental Lich. The higher the item's level, the stronger the Lich's attributes. Only one Lich of the same type can exist at the same time. The higher the skill level, the more Liches can exist simultaneously.]

With the appearance of this skill, Lin Moyu discovered that another Lich Space had been added to his attributes.

Currently, the Lich Space displayed 0/1; a level 1 skill only allowed one Lich to exist.

This was a brand new and unfamiliar skill.

However, from the scene he had just seen, this skill was very strong, extremely strong.

Opening his eyes, he once again saw Bai Yiyuan's highly expectant gaze.

"Moyu, how is it?"

Not only was his gaze full of expectation, but his tone was as well.

Lin Moyu shook his head. "I still couldn't grasp it. I'll try again."

Saying this, Lin Moyu activated another batch of Skill Scrolls.

The first time he used 65, and the next time 175, having used 240 in total.

He had already used nearly a quarter of his prepared stock.

This time, Lin Moyu directly activated 50 scrolls.

Shrouded under the light of ten thousand stars, that feeling appeared once again.

Perhaps because he had used so many Skill Scrolls, the feeling was extremely clear.

With two prior experiences, the moment the feeling appeared this time, Lin Moyu immediately grasped it and began searching for its source.

The miraculous feeling was just like before; as soon as it appeared, it rapidly spread throughout his entire body.

Lin Moyu already understood that, to put it simply, this feeling was the skill itself.

Skills were originally hidden in the deepest depths, waiting until one's level was high enough to be activated and awakened by various means.

What he needed to find now was the source of the skill.

Having had two experiences, he completely understood what he needed to do.

Yet, knowing was easy while doing was hard; achieving it was extremely difficult.

To prevent this feeling from fading and to ensure the skill could be successfully activated,

Lin Moyu used Intermediate Skill Scrolls batch after batch without a hint of distress.

Meng Anwen and Bai Yiyuan watched this, their eyes filled with amazement.

Bai Yiyuan said, "Although it's said that the stronger the class and the stronger the skill, the harder it is to awaken and master them,"

"Moyu's consumption of Skill Scrolls is really too high."

Meng Anwen hummed in agreement. "It is indeed a bit high. Even for a mid-tier Legendary Professional, they would use at most 300 Skill Scrolls at level 50."

Bai Yiyuan said, "An Earth Knight might use a bit more, but even then, it wouldn't exceed 500. But Moyu…"

Lin Moyu had already used more than 500 scrolls by now.

Having already awakened two skills, awakening the third skill had become extremely difficult.

Skill Scrolls were continuously activated and burst forth, batch after batch.

In the blink of an eye, his entire stock of 1,000 Skill Scrolls was about to run dry.

Lin Moyu had also reached the most critical juncture at this moment.

The feeling of the skill awakening was already very intense, just one final step away.

Because it lasted longer this time, Lin Moyu finally managed to find a clue.

He saw a pitch-black world, and within this world, a single point was shining brightly.

All of his feelings regarding the skill awakening now originated from this shining point.

Just as he saw the shining point, it exploded with a bang.

A strange sensation flowed through his entire body, rushing into his mental world and merging into his soul.

As the skill awakened, at the instant the shining point exploded, Lin Moyu saw some unusual images.

Or rather, it shouldn't be said that he saw them, but that he sensed them.

He sensed that near the shining point, there were other peculiar points—points that were currently slumbering and waiting to be awakened.

These points varied in size and shape.

They also faintly emitted different auras.

Lin Moyu understood that each point represented a skill.

This was the source of his skills.

But understanding was one thing; he didn't know what use there was in knowing this.

Did he go through all this effort just to catch a split-second glimpse?

At this moment, the skill had completely awakened, branded into his soul.

[Acquired Skill: Bone Prison]

[Bone Prison (Level 1): Binds a single target or multiple enemies, causing a paralyzing effect. Bound enemies cannot take action or counterattack, and the damage they receive is reduced by 50%. The binding duration is 1 second (will vary based on enemy level and attributes, and will also vary based on the number of bound enemies).]

A crowd-control skill…

It was a crowd-control skill of the bone element.

Lin Moyu was delighted when he saw the skill; he finally had a crowd-control skill of his own.

Even if the control duration was only 1 second, he had his talent boost!

1 second would become 60 seconds.

Moreover, as the skill level increased, this duration would inevitably be extended further.

Lin Moyu found that his class was becoming more and more perfect.

Even without his talent boost, although his attack power would be much weaker, its perfection would not change.

Even without his talent boost, the Undead Legion's combat power would be greatly reduced, but their numbers would remain unchanged.

Among those of the same level, he would still be an invincible existence.

His class skills integrated summoning, attacking, cursing, controlling, and Immunity all in one.

What other class could possibly compare?

The Undead Legion even had its own Support, with no need to rely on other Support.

It was simply a perfect class.

When Lin Moyu opened his eyes again, he once more saw Bai Yiyuan staring at him.

Bai Yiyuan said softly, "Moyu, even if you can't find it, it doesn't matter. Your level is still low, and you'll have plenty of opportunities in the future."

Meng Anwen nodded. "It's fine as long as you can find it when you're over level 80. There's no rush."

Lin Moyu knew the two of them were comforting him, but he…

Lin Moyu spoke up, "Teachers, I seem to have found it."

"Ah!"

Bai Yiyuan was about to continue comforting him, but upon hearing Lin Moyu's words, his comforting words instantly turned into a strange cry.

Chapter 427: Unspeakable, Harmful and Unhelpful

Bai Yiyuan's voice carried shock. "You really found it?"

"I'm not sure if it is." Thinking back now, the scenes Lin Moyu saw seemed somewhat unreal.

He even wondered if it might have been an illusion.

Meng Anwen asked, "Tell us, what did you see?"

Lin Moyu recalled carefully, "A pitch-black space. I saw a shining point, and when it exploded, I saw some other points."

"It felt as if each point represented a skill, and they were still slumbering."

"I can't describe the details clearly either."

Meng Anwen knew that Lin Moyu had most likely found it.

This feeling was correct. Back then, he also had this illusory, dreamlike feeling.

Moreover, when he found the source of his skills back then, he was already over level 80.

Lin Moyu was only level 50 now; he still had plenty of time and plenty of opportunities.

Meng Anwen said, "It should be correct. What do you think that space looked like?"

What did it look like?

Lin Moyu tried hard to recall his feelings at that time…

After thinking for a long time, he said somewhat uncertainty, "It seemed like a starry sky, where each point was like a silent, extinguished star."

Surprised expressions appeared on both Meng Anwen and Bai Yiyuan's faces.

Lin Moyu asked, "Teachers, is there something wrong?"

Meng Anwen shook his head. "Nothing is wrong. Everyone sees something different."

"You don't need to worry about this. What you need to do is firmly remember this feeling."

"When you reach level 60, 70, and 80, every time you awaken a skill will be an opportunity."

"You must repeatedly experience this feeling, take a good look inside that space that belongs only to you, and comprehend it deeply."

"On this point, no one can help you; you can only rely on yourself to comprehend it."

Lin Moyu asked, "Teachers, is there some special significance to doing this?"

Bai Yiyuan wanted to say something, but Meng Anwen stopped him with a glance.

Meng Anwen said, "This is all we can tell you. The more you know, the greater the harm to you."

"You must know that everyone is different, even for those with the same class."

"Other people's experiences are useless to you; you can only rely on yourself."

Meng Anwen repeated once more: "You can only rely on yourself."

Lin Moyu engraved this deeply into his memory.

He knew it wasn't that Meng Anwen refused to tell him, but that he truly couldn't.

Perhaps saying too much would indeed bring him harm and no benefit.

He seemed to have stepped into an unspeakable, miraculous domain.

Unlike others who used Skill Scrolls—either they awakened a skill or they didn't,

remaining completely ignorant and unaware of anything else.

Meanwhile, he had begun to pursue the very source of skills; the two were already on entirely different levels.

Lin Moyu didn't ask further. "I've committed it to memory."

Bai Yiyuan leaned in and asked, "So, what skills did you awaken?"

Lin Moyu said, "I awakened three skills: Lightning Undead Wings, Summon Elemental Lich, and Bone Prison."

"They are flight, summoning, and crowd-control types, respectively."

He explained the effects of the three skills.

Bai Yiyuan clicked his tongue. "My goodness, your class is becoming more and more comprehensive."

Lin Moyu's class was indeed developing in a comprehensive direction.

His core summoning skills were increasing, while flight and crowd-control skills were also being added.

Although everyone could master the ability to fly after level 70…
