Chapter 46: Devour

Looking at this large, round, wrinkled, strange Creature, Godzilla’s gaze finally focused on the spot hit by the Atomic Breath.

It was unclear if it was due to the immense power of the Atomic Breath or Omega’s extremely low vitality.

With only about one-sixth of its entire body evaporated by the Atomic Breath, Omega lost its vital signs.

It must be said, Godzilla's luck was truly exceptional.

To kill Omega while largely preserving its body was indeed a stroke of great fortune.

This could be considered the most ideal scenario, with the chances of it happening being incredibly slim.

Godzilla felt as if he had used up all his luck for the next few hundred years this time.

However, in terms of results, it wasn't bad.

Godzilla opened his mouth wide and swallowed Omega whole, not wasting a single bit.

Then, Godzilla looked at the Individuals lying in the passage, which resembled twisted metal, targeted the largest ones, and casually grabbed them.

Godzilla didn't even check how many were in his claws, directly shoving them into his mouth.

After dealing with Omega, Godzilla immediately felt refreshed.

His mood also improved.

Then, Godzilla happily returned to his own world.

However, he kept feeling like he had forgotten something.

Upon returning, Godzilla felt he had overlooked something.

But since he forgot it, it was clearly not important, so he let it go.

Then, Godzilla's figure vanished from that world.

Godzilla's disappearance left everyone who was watching him stunned.

Especially those who witnessed Godzilla's disappearance firsthand, they looked as if they had seen a ghost.

But no matter how they researched, they couldn't figure out how Godzilla had disappeared.

However, they did know the reason why all the alien invaders were paralyzed.

After all, Godzilla had dealt with Omega right under their noses; if they still didn't know the reason, then they would have lived in vain.

Because of this, Dr. Carter, who proposed the existence of Omega and Alpha, once again entered the sight of human high-ranking officials.

In response, Dr. Carter stated that he didn't want to be famous at all.

To be honest, although he proposed the existence of Omega and Alpha,

it was still very easy for the entire human society to find Scientists more capable than him.

And now that Omega was dead, he actually wanted to retire more.

But obviously, he couldn't make that decision.

Cage and Rita were also investigated.

Who told them to be so secretive with Dr. Carter?

Although Carter had fooled them by saying he needed their help to kill Omega, it was clear that not everyone believed his explanation.

They felt that Carter was still hiding something from them.

After losing the external enemy, the ugliness buried deep within was exposed again, because it had never disappeared!

— Returning to his own world, Godzilla, upon arriving in the familiar environment, suddenly remembered what he had forgotten.

That human!

— Forget it, it was just a human anyway, not worth Godzilla expending energy to return to that world to kill him.

With Godzilla's return, the little monster that had been wandering the ocean, searching for Godzilla's tracks, immediately detected his presence.

Heaven knows what kind of anxiety this poor little monster, just created and then "abandoned" by Godzilla, had been living in these past days.

Perhaps due to Omega's influence, Godzilla had spent too much time in that world.

This wasn't Godzilla's first time crossing worlds; each time he returned, he found that not much time had passed.

This was something Godzilla discovered when he started creating monsters.

By observing the development of the eggs incubating monsters, Godzilla could roughly estimate how long he had been away.

But this time, Godzilla had not left any eggs to mark the time.

Therefore, Godzilla didn't know how long he had actually been away.

But Godzilla knew that since he had left, a very long time must have passed in this world.

Because the monsters Godzilla had created had all grown up, and their life force was several times stronger than before!

This couldn't have happened in a short period of time.

And with Godzilla's return, the last and most satisfactory little monster he had created was already heading in his direction, and at a considerable speed.

So, Godzilla waited in place.

He was also very curious to see how much that little monster had grown.

On the other side, the little monster was speeding in one direction.

This left those monitoring it in confusion.

Over the past few years, ever since this monster entered human sight, it had done many significant things.

Many countries, seeing that this little monster was small in size and had less intense G-cells reactions, simply thought it was an ordinary small monster.

But when they tried to capture it, every single one of them paid a heavy price without exception!

Whether it was the little monster's tough hide or its terrifying Electromagnetic Cannon, both caused devastating damage to their fleets, aircraft carriers, and nuclear submarines.

Even when they found an opportunity to use a nuclear bomb, they discovered that it failed to kill the monster.

Just when people thought they had killed it, Various countries were cheering, but the monster reappeared not long after.

When the monster was discovered again, it showed no signs of dying, apart from some scars on its body surface.

And those surface scars seemed to add more glory to the monster!

Helplessly, they could only observe the monster from a distance to prepare for defense.

And by tracking the monster's movement, they concluded that this monster seemed to be searching for something.

Then, they began to wonder what this monster was searching for.

And today, the monster's decisive movement in one direction made them think it had finally found its target.

But as they mapped out the monster's route, they discovered that this monster seemed to be returning to its birthplace.

— During the boring wait, Godzilla began to devour the genes of Omega and other Individuals.

This time, Godzilla did not experience the phenomenon of G-cells evolving as before.

Although the G-cells became much stronger again, the lack of evolution still made Godzilla feel a bit regretful.

As Godzilla completely devoured Omega's genes, Godzilla gradually perceived something.

Within his body, that spatial-temporal power that had always existed, yet could not be freely controlled and could only be used mechanically!
