Chapter 484: Falling Sakura Like Blood (Part 4)

Soma Kosuke did not say anything more. He took one last look at this madman and slowly raised his withered arm.

As his arm rose, the World Within the Painting began to tremble violently.

The ink-composed sky overhead was covered in cracks.

"Crack——"

The sky shattered, and the ink-colored fragments peeled off.

Behind the fragments was a starry sky the color of blood.

Countless burning giant stars rotated within the bloody canopy, exuding an aura of destruction.

"Th-That… What is that?"

Within the crowd of the Kujo Family, someone let out a fearful, trembling sound.

Everyone looked up in horror, gazing at the terrifying sight above as a shudder ran through their entire bodies.

Soma Kosuke pointed his arm toward the bloody starry sky and violently swung it downward.

"Judgment."

Two hoarse words spat from his mouth.

The next second, in the bloody starry sky, a burning star suddenly trembled, then broke away from its trajectory, roaring toward the battlefield with a tail of flames.

Following closely, the second, the third… Hundreds of burning stars moved at the same time.

They transformed into Meteor Fire Rain, covering the entire battlefield.

Meteors descending from the sky!

"Defense!!"

"Quickly raise the shields!!"

Within the Kujo Family camp, the middle-aged man in charge let out a hoarse roar.

The surviving Professionals snapped out of their daze, their faces filled with panic and despair as they frantically urged their energy to raise shields of various colors, attempting to resist this apocalyptic sight.

However, all of this was futile.

"Boom!"

The first meteor accurately smashed into a huge shield raised by a dozen tank Professionals.

That sturdy shield shattered explosively the moment it contacted the meteor, failing to last even a single second.

The flames and shockwave swallowed those dozen tank Professionals, vaporizing them instantly without allowing them to utter a single scream.

The meteor's momentum did not abate as it smashed deeply into the ground.

"Rumble—"

The earth trembled violently, and the shockwave spread in all directions, sending dozens of nearby Kujo Family Professionals flying and tearing them to pieces.

This was only the beginning.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom—"

More meteors poured down.

The entire World Within the Painting turned into a purgatory.

Countless Kujo Family Professionals were swallowed by the flames and torn apart by the shockwaves amidst desperate cries.

"No! Don't!"

"Help! Save me!"

Screams and curses resounded through the clouds, but they were quickly drowned out by the continuous sound of explosions.

Just at this moment, a cold snort rang out.

"Hum."

Looking at the meteors filling the sky, Wada Hirayama showed no fear; instead, his face revealed an excited and bloodthirsty smile.

"Insignificant tricks."

He twisted his neck, his joints emitting a series of popping sounds.

"Family Head, please step back."

"Let me be the one to slash this sky apart."

Before his voice faded, the tips of his feet slammed against the ground, and his entire body soared into the sky, transforming into a silver stream of light that took the initiative to meet that apocalyptic rain of fire.

Wada Hirayama's figure in mid-air was so fast it blurred into an afterimage, the Katana in his hand blooming with brilliant blade light.

"Swish! Swish! Swish!"

Streaks of silver blade light intertwined into a net in the air.

A meteor coming straight at him was slashed into dozens of fragments the moment it contacted the blade net.

Wada Hirayama's figure did not stop, shuttling through the gaps of the meteor shower.

His blade was fast to the extreme, each strike precisely blowing apart a burning meteor mid-air.

For a time, he actually relied on his own strength to clear out a relatively safe airspace within the meteor shower.

The surviving members of the Kujo Family below looked at the figure in mid-air, a trace of hope reigniting on their despairing faces.

However, the next second,

the bloody starry canopy's light flared greatly.

More, larger, and more fiercely burning meteors plummeted from the starry canopy, their numbers several times greater than before.

For every one Wada Hirayama slashed apart, ten roared down.

The safe zone he had just cleared was instantly covered by an even denser rain of fire.

"Rumble!"

A giant meteor with a diameter exceeding ten meters broke through Wada Hirayama's blockade and heavily smashed into the center of the Kujo Family's remaining formation.

The earth was torn open with a gash, and nearly a hundred Professionals along with the ground beneath their feet were wiped out together.

"Damn it!"

Wada Hirayama cursed angrily, the aura on his body becoming even more violent.

The speed of his blade strikes grew faster and faster, the sword light almost connecting into a single sheet of silver light curtain.

Yet after all, he was only one person, with a pair of hands and one Katana.

The meteors, however, were endless.

He could slash apart ten, a hundred, but he could not slash apart this entire sky.

Kujo Koji shook his head.

"It's useless."

"No matter how fast you chop, you cannot outpace the speed at which his brush falls."

This was Soma Kosuke's World Within the Painting.

Although these meteors were all painted out, the damage they caused was real.

Watching his subordinates being burned to charred coal in the rain of fire, Kujo Koji showed not the slightest panic on his face, instead revealing a trace of appreciative smile.

He raised his head, his gaze piercing through the firelight and thick smoke to look at the aged figure in the air.

"Soma Kosuke has already appeared. The two of you can consider making a move."

As soon as his voice fell,

two powerful auras erupted from a black sedan in the motorcade.

"Boom!"

The roof of the car was blown away by a force.

Two figures rushed out from the roof.

One of them was a giant over two meters tall, bald, with muscles bulging all over his body.

Facing a smashing meteor head-on, he did not dodge or evade, letting out an angry roar.

"Hah!"

He threw a punch!

"Bang—"

With a muffled sound, the burning meteor directly exploded into powder beneath his fist.

The other person was a middle-aged man wearing a White Suit and gold-rimmed glasses, possessing a refined demeanor.

Facing the falling Meteor Fire Rain, he raised his hand, spread his five fingers toward the sky, and gently clenched.

Hundreds of thousands of burning meteors in the sky simultaneously froze in mid-air.

The middle-aged man flipped his wrist.

"Shatter."

All the meteors in mid-air instantly turned into flying ash.

The bloody sky rapidly faded, turning back to pitch black.

The apocalyptic scene vanished.

In the air, Soma Kosuke's figure swayed.

His voice came from all directions, carrying shock.

"Why?"

"Why do the two of you appear here?"

The giant and the Man in White Suit descended from the air, standing beside Kujo Koji.

The two of them looked up toward the air with polite smiles on their faces.

With a smile on his face, the giant spoke with a voice like a booming bell.

"Long time no see, Mr. Kosuke."

The Man in White Suit pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses and spoke unhurriedly.

"We were also invited to Sakura Country to visit Mr. Kujo Koji."

"We didn't expect to encounter this kind of thing."

"It really is unexpected."

High in the sky, Soma Kosuke wore anger.

"Kujo Koji, in order to win against me, you actually didn't hesitate to collude with the Dawn Guild!"
