Chapter 501

Lin Moyu's pupils constricted slightly; he hadn't expected to encounter Dragon War Ships here.

But the Dragon War Ships looked a bit strange, as if they were coming specifically for him.

Lin Moyu wondered if the Dragon race had discovered him from the very beginning.

Eight Dragon War Ships charged straight toward Lin Moyu; they had discovered him the moment he arrived at the Wind Thunder Canyon.

It was simply because the Dragon aura on Lin Moyu was too dense. This kind of aura wouldn't fade for many years and would continue to accumulate.

The density of the Dragon aura on Lin Moyu indicated that he had killed at least ten thousand members of the Dragon race, if not more.

In the eyes of the Dragon race, Lin Moyu was like a giant fireball in the dark night, extremely conspicuous.

After a slight moment of surprise, Lin Moyu understood why.

Previously, when he first entered the Ancient Battlefield and killed the first Dragon, he realized he would easily be discovered by the Dragon race.

Thinking back now, it was because of this that he had long been targeted by the Dragon race.

Lin Moyu simply stopped and waited for them to approach.

These eight Dragon War Ships were different from the ones he had seen before.

The ships were about a third smaller in size, faster, and seemed stronger.

If the Dragon War Ships he saw before were primary-level, then these must be advanced-level.

The ships were very fast; when he first saw them, they were over ten thousand meters away.

In the blink of an eye, they had covered most of the distance.

"They are very fast, faster than me." Lin Moyu estimated in his heart.

The speed of these war ships exceeded 2,000 meters per second, much faster than Lin Moyu.

Because of this, unless Lin Moyu descended to the ground, he wouldn't be able to escape.

When they were still over 3,000 meters away, all eight Dragon War Ships lit up simultaneously.

Eight massive beams of energy shot toward Lin Moyu.

Chapter 470: The Dragon Race's War Puppets

The formations on the Dragon War Ships activated, and the magic crystals shone brightly, unleashing powerful attacks.

Lin Moyu reacted extremely quickly, vibrating his wings to dodge rapidly.

The eight Dragon War Ships continued to launch attacks as they approached.

Unfortunately, Lin Moyu was extremely agile, making it difficult for them to land a hit.

Originally, the purpose of war ships was not to kill moving targets; their greater use was in sieging cities.

When attacking fixed targets, the role of the war ships was significant.

But against a small, highly agile target like Lin Moyu, it was like using an anti-aircraft gun to hit a mosquito; it was simply hard to score a hit.

Lin Moyu's sixth sense was extremely sharp, and his mental power spread outward, allowing him to anticipate the attacks.

He dodged the attacks swiftly and rapidly approached the Dragon War Ships.

He lifted his finger slightly but then retracted it.

Lin Moyu saw an immense number of Thunder Tree in the mountains below.

If he cast a Curse now, he estimated that countless Thunder Tree would come to trouble him.

Although he wasn't particularly afraid, Lin Moyu had experience; if he provoked the small ones, the old ones would come.

If he ended up provoking a world-class BOSS Thunder Tree, it would be too much trouble.

He couldn't use Curse, and he couldn't use Poison Star Explosion either.

Area-of-effect skills were not suitable.

After a brief thought, Lin Moyu abruptly ascended, quickly reaching an altitude of 2,000 meters.

The Dragon War Ships followed Lin Moyu, ascending and giving chase.

Although he still couldn't use Curse of Aging and Poison Star Explosion at an altitude of 2,000 meters, skills like Corpse Explosion and the auras of the Elemental Lich were no longer affected.

Lin Moyu instantly released his entire Undead Legion and Elemental Lich.

The Flame Lich was gone, replaced by the Poison Lich.

In an instant, layers of auras appeared beneath the feet of all the skeletons.

Six major auras flickered alternately.

Ten thousand streaks of Lei Guang fell upon the Dragon War Ships; the simultaneous strike of ten thousand bolts of lightning was awe-inspiring and grand.

The shields of the Dragon War Ships were battered until they deformed.

Ice layers formed on the war ships, and their speed slowed down instantly.

Not only that, but the power of the auras permeated the protective shields of the ships, directly affecting the Dragon soldiers on board.

The Poison Aura was the same; over 30,000 Poison Auras overlapped, causing over 300,000 points of damage to the Dragon warriors every second.

It was like being hit by a 300,000-strength attack every single second; no one could endure that.

The Healer of the Dragon race on the war ships began to heal desperately.

The war ships counterattacked continuously, with their magic crystals running at full power, unleashing a barrage of attacks.

The Skeleton Berserker charged straight into the attacks; most were dodged, and those that couldn't be dodged were taken head-on.

The attacks from the Dragon War Ships were not enough to instantly kill the Skeleton Berserker, and the Comprehensive Connection talent was sufficient to share the damage.

The Archmage and Sharpshooter took action first; their addition made the shields of the Dragon War Ships precarious.

The Dragon soldiers inside the war ships rushed out; they knew the ships couldn't handle the skeletons, so they had to take action themselves.

They also hadn't expected that a single human could be so powerful.

What was supposed to be using a butcher's knife to slaughter a chicken had instead turned into them being beaten by a mob.

Lin Moyu watched the teams of Dragon soldiers rushing out; here, they were all Dragon War General, each one a being over level 70.

Level 70 was the lowest level existence here.

Over a thousand Dragon War General rushed out from the war ships, making Lin Moyu feel that something was wrong.

"Strange, these Dragon War General don't seem right."

Lin Moyu had dealt with Dragon War General before and had even killed some.

Those Dragon War General were all very agile, with light in their eyes.

But these Dragon War General before him were extremely dull, just like puppets.

Looking at their appearance, armor, and height, they were all exactly the same.

Except for their different professions, there was no way to distinguish between them.

Lin Moyu's thoughts raced, and within a second, he went through all his memories involving the Dragon race.

The Dragon race he had encountered previously in the upper space of the Ancient Battlefield were all very agile; they were living beings capable of independent thought.

But the Dragon race he encountered later in the Yuan Battlefield started to seem not quite right.

At the time, he felt something was wrong; the opponents were extremely dull.

But at the time, he was troubled by the issue of killing intent and did not delve into it.

Thinking about it now, that batch of Dragon race in the Yuan Battlefield was very strange and problematic.

These ones before him seemed to be the same.

A bold guess suddenly popped into Lin Moyu's mind.

"Could it be that the Dragon race has had some breakthrough and can mass-produce war puppets?"

"If they can even mass-produce level 70 Dragon War General, it's too terrifying."

War puppets were not a new concept; they had appeared in historical records.

The Dragon race had once sent war puppets to the battlefield.

However, the war puppets in the records were either very weak or very few in number.

But now, it seemed different.

After a thousand years of seclusion, the Dragon race seemed to have achieved a breakthrough.

The Dragon War General had already engaged in combat with the Skeleton Berserker.

Lin Moyu did not intervene; he observed carefully.

Gradually, he discovered some clues.

The fighting style of these Dragon War General was somewhat monotonous, and their combat methods were slightly dull.

Except for skill power, strength, agility, and constitution, which were comparable to actual Dragon War General, their actual combat effectiveness was still different.

To verify his guess, Lin Moyu simultaneously used the Detection Spell.

[Dragon Spearman (Ordinary War General)]

[Level: 70]

[Strength: 250,000]

[Agility: 180,000]

[Spirit: 20,000]

[Constitution: 200,000]

[Skill: Whirlwind Sweep]

[Trait: Defense Enhancement, Dragon Scale Enhancement, Curse Resistance Enhancement.]

A level 70 ordinary Dragon War General had a total attribute of 650,000; it wasn't strong at all.

This was quite consistent with Lin Moyu's understanding of the Dragon race.

According to the level of their bloodline, the Dragon race could be divided into three levels: Ordinary, Advanced, and Atavistic.

The attributes of an ordinary Dragon were slightly stronger than those of a rare Professional among humans, but not as good as a legendary-level Professional.

Advanced Dragons surpassed legendary-level Professionals; even for high-level legendary Professionals, they were slightly inferior to Advanced Dragons purely in terms of attributes.

And the Atavistic level within the Dragon race could rival some of the top-tier, ceiling-level human professions.

Among the three races, in terms of attributes alone, Demons were the strongest, the Dragon race was second, and humans were the weakest.

But combat power could not be determined solely by attributes; there were also skills and coordination.

Humans were not weak at all among the three races, especially after level 70, when humans unlocked flight capabilities, which could even be said to surpass the other two races.

However, when Lin Moyu saw these attributes, he felt something was wrong.

"The total attributes are correct, but why is this Spirit so weak?" Lin Moyu pondered; a level 70 Dragon War General couldn't possibly have only 20,000 Spirit.

This wasn't normal.

Then, Lin Moyu's eyes lit up; he saw some members of the Dragon race still present on the Dragon War Ships.

These members of the Dragon race were clearly different; their gazes were lively, and their facial expressions were extremely rich.

They saw the team of Dragon War General being beaten helplessly by the Skeleton Berserker, and they all wore anxious expressions.

Looking back at the Dragon War General currently fighting, they knew they couldn't win, yet their expressions didn't change in the slightest, still fighting with a 'reckless disregard for life'.

Lin Moyu was now 70% sure that these Dragon War General were not true members of the Dragon race, but war puppets.

It was just that this type of war puppet was a bit special; it even managed to fool the Detection Spell.

Lin Moyu wanted to get to the bottom of this.

In the short minute that Lin Moyu was thinking, the thousand Dragon War General had already been slaughtered.

The members of the Dragon race on the war ships clearly showed panic.
