Chapter 51: Like a God of Death

The muscles on the bald brawny man's Face twitched slightly.

His copper-bell-like eyes were filled with astonishment.

Having entrenched here for so long, this was the first time he had heard such an arrogant response.

Frowning, he heavily slammed the battle axe he was carrying on his shoulder onto the ground, producing a muffled thud.

"Kid, you're quite arrogant."

"State your name, which guild are you from?"

As he spoke, he nonchalantly gave a wink to a skinny rogue beside him.

The rogue understood instantly, a trace of imperceptible energy fluctuation flickered from his fingertips, silently falling onto Yasuo and Gandalf.

[Detection Spell]!

The rogue's expression changed slightly, and he quickly leaned close to the bald brawny man's ear, whispering rapidly.

"Boss, the one in front wearing a windbreaker is a Rank 15 swordsman."

"The one in the white robe in the back… is only Rank 5."

The expression on the bald brawny man's Face instantly froze.

The astonishment on his Face rapidly turned into an unbelievable sense of absurdity, finally transforming into a furious rage of being played with.

"A Rank 15, bringing along a Rank 5 burden?"

Just these two people, and they dared to challenge him right to his Face?

Who gave them the guts?

He looked at Yasuo again, as if wanting to find some clues from that Face mostly covered by a hood and mask.

"Kid, I'll ask again, which guild are you guys from?"

Zhou Huai manipulated Yasuo, his tone still calm.

"No guild."

These four words were like a spark, completely igniting the bald brawny man's anger.

He laughed out of extreme anger, his voice suddenly rising, filled with sharp mockery.

"Hhahahaha! No guild?"

"Two freelance trash who can't even get into a guild, yet you dare put on airs in front of me?"

"Were your fucking brains gnawed on by exotic beasts?!"

The battle axe in his hand suddenly pointed at Yasuo's nose, spit flying everywhere.

"Now! Immediately! Right away! Kneel down and kowtow three loud kowtows to me, then crawl between my legs!"

"Otherwise, neither of you will even think about leaving this place standing today!"

The dozen or so Sword of Azure Sky members behind him also grinned hideously, tightening their grips on their weapons and tightly surrounding the two, the atmosphere instantly becoming taut and explosive.

The distant freelance players subconsciously retreated a few steps, afraid of being caught in the crossfire.

Everyone looked at those two ignorant and fearless fellows with the eyes of looking at dead men.

Facing this almost tangible murderous intent, Yasuo merely slowly raised his head.

Beneath the shadow of his hood, a pair of eyes were as calm as stagnant water.

"I think it's quite the opposite."

His voice wasn't loud, but it clearly entered the ears of everyone present.

"While I'm still in a good mood, I advise you all to scram quickly."

The air was dead silent.

The smile on the bald brawny man's Face completely vanished, replaced by a ferocious, livid expression.

"You… are… courting death!"

He squeezed these three words through his teeth, veins bulging on his arms as he swung the battle axe fiercely.

"Get them!"

"Chop these two daring scumbags into meat paste!"

"Kill!"

The dozen or so members of Sword of Azure Sky roared in unison, the lights of various skills instantly lighting up, and flashing blades accompanied by howling magic surged overwhelmingly toward the two!

However, at the very moment they made their move,

Yasuo also moved.

Hum—!

Streaks of deep purple thunder arcs suddenly erupted from within his body, instantly intertwining into a mighty and extraordinary [Thunder Armor]!

His entire person was like a Thunder God descended to the mortal world!

"Too slow."

A cold voice sounded.

Yasuo's figure turned into a blurry electric light, [Lightning Rush] activated!

Instead of retreating, he actively charged into that net of death composed of swords and magic!

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Several attacks missed completely, only shattering an afterimage.

A warrior charging at the very front only felt an electric flash before his eyes, and a fierce sword light had already slashed across his throat.

-1258!

-1558!

Terrifying four-digit damage numbers floated up from above his head.

His body stiffened in place, his eyes still filled with bewilderment, and the next second, his head soared into the sky.

One-hit kill!

Yasuo's figure didn't pause in the slightest, shuttling through the crowd like a phantom.

Every time the long sword in his hand waved, it whipped up a fatal flash of thunder, precisely and efficiently harvesting lives.

Those members of Sword of Azure Sky generally had Ranks around Rank 20, and were well-equipped.

Yet in front of Yasuo, they were as fragile as paper.

Their attacks simply couldn't lock onto Yasuo's ultimate-speed figure.

This was a… one-sided massacre!

As for Gandalf, from beginning to end, he merely stood quietly in place.

His hands were folded in his wide sleeves, and his expression beneath his hood couldn't be seen, as if the bloody slaughter before him was merely a farce unrelated to him.

There was no help for it; as an Archmage,

once he made a move, there probably wouldn't be any living people left here.

Amidst the melee, subordinates fell one after another.

The bald brawny man took just one sword strike, and his HP dropped by half.

Fear like a cold tide instantly submerged all his anger and reason.

Monster!

This fucking thing is not a Rank 15 swordsman at all!

This is a thorough monster!

"Retreat! Retreat quickly!"

He let out a shrill roar, no longer caring about any Face, and turned to run away.

His speed was very fast, completely unable to care about his other subordinates.

In one breath, he ran seventy or eighty meters out.

From time to time, he looked back,

finding that the god of death hadn't chased after him.

Only then did he secretly heave a sigh of relief.

However, the next second, the bald brawny man suddenly felt a chill in his chest.

He lowered his head in astonishment to look.

Only to see a section of a sword tip flashing with thunder light protruding completely out of his chest.

How is this possible?

He clearly didn't chase after him, right?

Yasuo slowly pulled out his long sword and kicked him sprawling onto the ground with one foot.

Lying in a pool of blood, his vitality rapidly draining, the bald brawny man looked at that figure like a demon god, his eyes filled with endless remorse and fear.

"You… just who are you…"

Before he could finish his words, his head tilted to the side, and he completely lost all breath.

Zhou Huai withdrew his sword and stood upright.

The whole process was smooth and flowing, taking no more than thirty seconds.

When the last member of Sword of Azure Sky fell, the battlefield returned to silence once more.

Only the rich stench of blood frantically permeated the air.

The distant freelance Professionals were dumbfounded one by one, as if they had been petrified.

This was too outrageous.

To actually slaughter an entire team by oneself.

Especially the scene of finally killing the bald brawny man was extremely shocking,

appearing behind the opponent almost as if by teleportation,

incomparably bizarre.

That thin youth who previously wanted to invite Yasuo to party turned his legs soft at this moment, dropping heavily onto the ground with his Face as pale as paper.

He… he actually wanted to invite such a god of death to party just moments ago?

After a brief dead silence, a panicked commotion erupted from the crowd.

"Quick… run quickly!"

"Something big is going to happen here! Let's go!"

Everyone snapped out of it, having no more heart to farm any instances, scattering like birds and beasts as they fled desperately away from this place without looking back.

It wouldn't be long before the people from Sword of Azure Sky would come to reinforce.

If they didn't leave now, they would easily be caught in the crossfire.

Zhou Huai ignored those fleeing freelance individuals.

He manipulated Yasuo, calmly walking up to the shimmering teleportation stone at the dungeon entrance.

On the stone tablet, four options floated quietly:

[Please select instance difficulty:]

[Normal]

[Hard]

[Nightmare]

[Calamity]

He reached out his finger, without the slightest hesitation, tapping directly on the last option, which was also the deepest crimson color.

[Calamity]!

A bloody vortex emerged on the stone tablet, exuding a terrifying aura that made one's heart palpitate.

Immediately after, the two of them, one behind the other, stepped into that twisted light gate, their figures instantly disappearing from sight.
