Chapter 579: Journey to Southern Mountain 3

His distinctly jointed finger lifted her chin, and he hummed lightly and casually, “Girl, do you seem to have other ideas?”

Su Luo waved her hands repeatedly, giving a dry laugh, “Nonsense, how could I have any other ideas? That's hilarious, ha ha ha. Google Search Reading.”

Nangong Liuyun looked at Su Luo as if she were an idiot.

Su Luo also felt that she was acting like an idiot… She rubbed the back of her head, depressed, wondering why her usually proud IQ disappeared whenever she faced Nangong Liuyun.

Seeing Nangong Liuyun staring coldly at her, Su Luo quickly changed the subject, “What is the price of this courtyard? I don't want to receive it from you for free.”

Nangong Liuyun crossed his hands behind his back, leaned comfortably against the chair, and raised an eyebrow at her, “Forty-nine green crystal stones.”

Forty-nine green crystal stones? That's not expensive. If the crystal purple fish were ambitious enough to spit out cyan or blue crystal stones, it could be settled quickly.

Su Luo said with a smile, “This price is quite cheap. Come on, cash on delivery.”

Nangong Liuyun shook his right index finger, “No, the money has already been paid; there's no need to pay again.”

“Already paid?” Su Luo was stunned. How did she not know?

“Do you still remember going to the Sunset Mountain Range back then?” Nangong Liuyun looked at Su Luo with a sly smile, cunning like a fox.

How clever was Su Luo? She understood instantly.

She looked at him, “Are you talking about the fifty green crystal stones used to treat you last time?”

“Smart.” Nangong Liuyun rubbed her head, as if praising his most beloved spirit pet.

“Then you still owe me one green crystal stone. Why not just make it fifty green crystal stones? Wouldn't that make everything clear?” Su Luo asked, puzzled.

“Who wants to be clear with you?” Nangong Liuyun snorted through his nose, but his eyes glittered with starlight, profound and inscrutable.

But his voice was very soft and mumbled, so Su Luo didn't hear clearly.

“What?” Su Luo asked curiously.

“If it should be forty-nine, it is forty-nine. What is our relationship? How could this King earn your crystal stones?” Nangong Liuyun said earnestly.

“Alright then, return that other green crystal stone to me.” Su Luo smiled and spread out her palm.

“No.” Nangong Liuyun shook his head decisively.

“Who are you? The dignified Prince Jin Your Highness, you can't even produce one green crystal stone? Who are you trying to fool?” Su Luo mocked him.

“Ask for a person, yes; ask for a crystal stone, no.” Nangong Liuyun's Phoenix eyes slightly lifted, and he smiled as cunningly as a fox.

“Why do you have to be like this? It's not like I can't pay it back.” Su Luo truly couldn't understand what Nangong Liuyun was trying to do.

Nangong Liuyun stared fixedly at her, a hint of seriousness flashing in his deep, beautiful eyes. After a long moment, he sighed, “Because this way, our relationship gains one more type.”

Among all the intricate relationships, the relationship between creditor and debtor is extremely secure.

If he had priced it at fifty-one crystal stones, Girl Luo would have immediately pulled out the crystal stones, and just as she said, everything would be clear.

But being a debtor is different. Whether or not to pay back depends on him; as long as he doesn't pay it back, their relationship will never be severed.

Su Luo figured out the subtle complexities within, and her body suddenly froze. She gazed at him speechlessly, “You… why go through all this trouble?”

His tenderness seemed insignificant at first glance, but drop by drop, it gathered into threads, finally becoming an intertwined net that bound her, causing her to sink into it, unable to pull herself out.
