Chapter 6: Departure, Mars Service Area!

After the explanation from Lu Chen's group of three, the others finally believed Pang Bo's identity.

Once they calmed their tense nerves, everyone immediately began looking for a way to escape.

Using the light from their cell phones, everyone looked around and saw various strange patterns carved into the walls of the bronze ancient coffin.

There were fierce nine-headed divine birds spreading their wings to fly high, giant Vicious Beasts covered in foot-long stiff bristles roaring to the heavens, some Divine Beasts well-known from myths and legends, and strange beasts whose names were completely unrecognizable.

In addition to the various strange beasts, there were also patterns resembling ancient ancestors, as well as scattered maps of the starry sky.

After exploring, they found that the interior of the bronze ancient coffin was about twenty meters long and seven or eight meters wide.

What shocked everyone even more was that a smaller bronze coffin was placed right in the center of this bronze ancient coffin.

Out of fear, no one dared to approach this smaller bronze coffin.

Having searched all around without finding an exit, and after everything they had just been through, everyone was quite exhausted and huddled in the corners to rest.

Lu Chen, Ye Fan, and Pang Bo also found an unoccupied corner to squat down together.

"What on earth is going on here?"

Completely bewildered, Pang Bo cursed in a low voice.

Ye Fan also turned his gaze toward Lu Chen and said,

"Brother Chen, where are we going now?"

Lu Chen didn't hide anything anymore and calmly explained,

"You can think of this bronze ancient coffin as a long-distance bus capable of crossing galaxies."

"A bus?"

"Then what is this bus's destination?"

Ye Fan asked, only half-understanding.

"Beidou!"

"A Star Domain composed of a Cultivator civilization."

Lu Chen said slowly.

"Beidou?"

"That thing is almost a hundred light-years away from Earth. By the time this coffin reaches Beidou, I'm afraid not even our bones will be left, right?"

Hearing Lu Chen's words, Pang Bo's eyes widened in surprise.

"Don't worry."

"Its speed is far beyond your imagination."

Lu Chen said with a light chuckle.

Pang Bo did not dwell on this issue anymore, but instead asked another question on his mind.

"Then why did this bronze ancient coffin suddenly come to Earth?"

"It couldn't have come to pick someone up, and we just happened to run into it, right?"

"You guessed right."

"This nine dragons pulling the coffin really did come to Earth to pick someone up."

Lu Chen smiled mysteriously, paused slightly, and then turned to meet Ye Fan's eyes, speaking slowly,

"The person this nine dragons pulling the coffin wants to pick up is actually you, Yezi."

"All of us can be said to have ridden on your coattails."

"What?"

Pang Bo immediately let out a cry of surprise. Realizing that his classmates around him were looking at him, he suppressed his shock, leaned close to Lu Chen, and whispered,

"Brother Chen, you're not joking, right?"

"You're saying this coffin came to pick up Yezi?"

Ye Fan was also shocked by Lu Chen's words and immediately said,

"Brother Chen, why does this nine dragons pulling the coffin want to take me to Beidou?"

Lu Chen smiled and said,

"To put it simply, there is an extremely powerful expert over in Beidou who thinks you might be the Reincarnation of her older brother."

"Taking you to Beidou is because she wants you to embark on the path of cultivation."

Uh!

"Older brother?"

Hearing Lu Chen's words, both Ye Fan and Pang Bo were stunned.

"Brother Chen, are you sure you're not joking?"

Ye Fan double-checked, somewhat in disbelief.

"That is indeed the case."

"But you don't need to think too much about it right now."

Lu Chen said calmly.

"Then…"

Just as Ye Fan wanted to say something more, the originally stable bronze ancient coffin suddenly shook violently, causing many classmates to fall to the ground.

"What's wrong? What's going on?"

Ye Fan and Pang Bo both reached out to steady Lu Chen, looking at him with questioning expressions.

"Squat down and hold on tight."

"The bus has run out of gas and needs to stop at a service area to rest."

Lu Chen said with a calm face.

Hearing Lu Chen's relaxed tone, both Ye Fan and Pang Bo also relaxed.

By now, the vibration of the bronze ancient coffin was becoming increasingly intense.

Boom!

A violent sound of collision rang out, and everyone felt the bronze ancient coffin collide heavily with something unknown.

Right at this moment, the bronze carvings inside the bronze ancient coffin suddenly emitted faint glows, silently shielding Lu Chen and the others from this wave of impact.

Before anyone could figure out what was happening, they realized that the bronze ancient coffin had rolled onto its side under the violent impact, and its lid had also fallen to the ground.

The originally pitch-black interior of the coffin was instantly illuminated by the light from outside.

Seeing this, everyone let out a cheer and scrambled to their feet to run outside.

Lu Chen and the other two also came outside. As far as the eye could see, the ground looked as if it had been soaked in blood, presenting a strange reddish-brown color. Everywhere was desolate and empty, with massive boulders standing sporadically on the ground like tombstones.

"Is… this still Earth?"

Looking at the bizarre scene before them, one of their classmates couldn't help but mutter.

"Brother Chen, what kind of place is this?"

Pang Bo looked around and asked in a low voice.

"Yinghuo, which is what we call Mars."

Lu Chen replied.

"Mars?"

Hearing this, Pang Bo's eyes widened in shock.

"In just this short amount of time, we've been brought to Mars?"

Ye Fan also spoke up at this time,

"'Shimmering like fire, confusing and deceptive!'"

"The ground and rocks here are all as crimson as blood, which indeed matches the ancients' description of Mars."

By now, the other classmates had also overheard the conversation of Lu Chen's trio. The class monitor, Lin Jia, came up to them and asked,

"Lu Chen, Ye Fan, are you saying this is Mars?"

"There seem to be words carved on that rock ahead. Whether it is or not, we should know once we go over and take a look."

Lu Chen pointed to a boulder not far ahead and said.

Without waiting for Lin Jia's response, Lu Chen led Ye Fan and Pang Bo toward the front.

Seeing this, Lin Jia and the other classmates hesitated for a moment where they stood. They glanced back at the increasingly eerie bronze ancient coffin behind them, and then all followed in the direction of Lu Chen's trio.

Soon, everyone arrived in front of the boulder. Looking at the two characters carved on it, Zhou Yi, who was one of the better students among them, frowned and said,

"This is ancient bronze script. The first character is indeed the character 'Ying'."

Hearing Zhou Yi's words, the others also began to believe that they were indeed currently on Mars.

Several of the more timid female classmates burst into tears on the spot:

"Then… can we still go home?"
